- T2 time zone Even if this embodiment provides only a second T2 time zone, the invention is not limited to this. It is obvious that we could have multiple "time zone" functions, to keep at the same time the time of a plurality of zones T2, T3, T4 etc. The user could so easily select the time zone correspond to the local time during a trip comprising several stages in different time zones. Each of these functions could also provide a second option display, to display the local time on the first line 51 display, and to modify the operation of the alarm clock and calendar, completely analogous to the one described above for T2.
- the watch according to this embodiment of the invention has as the only input device the roller 70, on which the user can act by rotation, or by pressure. We can notice like the actions on roller 70 always produce equivalent results in all subsidiary modes of definition. The resulting user interface is intuitive and simple to remember.
- roller 70 Since the roller 70 is the only input device for the watch, it can be relatively large. Thanks to its size and in its easily accessible position, the roller 70 is much easier to handle only traditional input devices.
- the display of the watch is characterized by the two lines of alphanumeric characters 51 and 52, the first of which is used only to display the current time, and the second to display data relating to the auxiliary functions. Thanks to this arrangement, a rational and intuitive division is obtained between the current time, which is always available on the first line, and the functions, which are displayed by the second display line.
