- the resulting voltage drop across the resistor 16 drives a comparator 17, in the simplest case an AND gate, which triggers the signal processing device 6 in the sense of generating the error signal 11.
- the pressure switch 13 can also work as a break contact, so that the current path in the control input 15 is not closed but opened for the error message.
