Eine Sanitärarmatur für Wannen- und/oder Duschbader, vorzugsweise in Form einer Mischbatterie ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei Verwendung der Sanitärarmatur allein für Duschbäder statt des Umstellventils mit Zug- und Druckstab in die dafür vorgesehene Öffnung (6) des Mischund Regelkörpers (1) ein Adapter (7, 7') mittels eines Schraubgewindes oder in anderer Weise eingesetzt ist, wobei der Adapter (7) röhrenförmig sowie zum Misch- und Regelkörper (1) offen ist und zur Wasseranbindung für die Duschbrause das Zuleitungsrohr (9) in den Adapter (7) eingesetzt ist und die Wasserabgänge (4, 5) verschlossen sind, oder wobei der Adapter (7') die Öffnung (6) des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) verschließt und zur Anbindung von Accessoires wie eine Brausestange (12) oder eine Seifenschale (17, 18) dient und der Wasserabgang (4) zur Badewanne verschlossen ist. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sanitärarmatur für Wannen- und/oder Duschbäder, d. h. zur Speisung von Badewannen und/oder Brausen mit Wasser, vorzugsweise in Form einer Mischbatterie mit Kalt- und Warmwasseranschluß. Sie ist zur Montage "unter Putz", d. h. versenkt in einer Wand des Bades- und/oder Duschraums mit Ausnahme der aus der Wand herausragenden Bedienungsteile bestimmt.
Derartige Sanitärarmaturen sind weithin bekannt und vorzugsweise als Einhebel-Mischbatterien gestaltet. Dabei wird der Armatur über zwei getrennte Leitungen Kalt- und Warmwasser zugeführt, deren Zulaufmenge und Temperatur vom Benutzer über einen einzigen Bedienungshebel geregelt werden, der auf den Misch- und Regelmechanismus des unter Putz liegenden Armaturenteils wirkt. Der Misch- und Regelkörper der Armatur hat bei der Ausführungsform für Wannenbäder mit integrierter Duschbrause zwei Wasserabgänge, von denen der eine zum Wanneneinlauf und der andere zu einem gesonderten Anschluß an der Raumwand für den Schlauch der Brausedusche oder auch den direkten Anschluß der Duschbrause dient. Für diese Ausführungsform der Wannen-/Duscharmatur-ist ein Umstellventil innerhalb des Misch- und Regelkörpers eingesetzt, das nur über einen regelmäßig parallel neben dem Bedienungshebel in den Raum ragenden Zug- und Druckstab bedient wird und das Speisewasser entweder der Badewanne oder der Duschbrause zuführt. Für die Montage dieser bekannten Sanitärarmaturen wird regelmäßig eine unmittelbar auf der Wandoberfläche sitzende und mit dem unter Putz sitzenden Misch- und Regelteil verbundene Montageplatte verwandt und mit diesem verschraubt. Diese Montageplatte hat angepasste Bohrungen, durch die der Bedienungshebel für die Wasserdurchfluß und Temperaturregelung und der Zug- und Druckstab für das Umstellventil hindurchführen.
Im Bestreben nach möglichst rationeller und kostengünstigster Fertigung derartiger Sanitärarmaturen wird die vorgenannte bekannte Misch- und Regelbatterie zugleich für reine Duschbäder, d. h. ohne Wannenzulauf verwandt. Bei dieser Verwendungsweise erübrigen sich jedoch nicht nur der Wasserabgang zum Wanneneinlauf, sondern auch das Umstellventil mit Zugund Druckstab. Deshalb wird bei der Verwendung für reine Duschbäder der erwähnte Wasserabgang zur Wanne durch einen Blindflansch verschlossen, während der zweite Wasserabgang zu einem gesondert aus der Wand herausführenden Wasseranschluß für die Duschbrause unverändert bleibt. Statt des Umstellventils mit Zug- und Druckstab bei den bekannten Sanitärarmaturen ebenfalls nur ein Verschlussstopfen in Form eines Blindflanschs oder in anderer Form eingesetzt. Die über der Montageplatte an der Raumwand aufgesetzte Abdeckplatte/Abdeckrost-platte muß dabei ebenfalls durch eine ohne die Ausnehmung für den Zug- und Druckstab des Umstellventils ersetzt werden, wie sie beim Einsatz für kombinierte Wannen- und Duschbrausenspeisung erforderlich ist.
Die bekannten Sanitärarmaturen sind in doppelter Weise verbesserungsfähig. Zum einen machen sie auch beim Einsatz für reine Duschbäder, wie erwähnt, einen gesonderten Ausgang des Wasserrohrs zum Anschluß der Duschbrause bzw. ihres Zuleitungsschlauchs erforderlich, der zu-gleich in diesem Bereich eine Zerstörung der regelmäßig vorhandenen Fliesenwand bedingt. Zum anderen müssen zwei unterschiedliche Ausführungsformen der Abdeckrosetten hergestellt und vorgehalten werden. Schließlich ist die für den Umstellventil und seinen Zug- und Druckstab vorhandende Bohrung- zumeist als Innengewinde ausgestaltet - bei der Ausführungsform für reine Duschbäder nutzlos und, wie erwähnt, nur mit einem Stopfen verschlossen.
Aufgabe dieser Erfindung ist es daher, die vorgenannten Nachteile zu vermeiden und die bekannten Sanitärarmaturen als Einheitsarmatur für Wannenbäder und Duschbäder zu verbessern.
Diese Aufgabe wird im wesentlichen dadurch gelöst, daß bei Verwendung der Sanitärarmatur für reine Duschbäder statt des in den Mischund Regelkörper eingesetzten Umstellventils und dessen Zug- und Druckstab in die dafür vorgesehene Ausnehmung/Bohrung am Mischund Regelkörper ein Adapter eingesetzt ist, der entweder röhrenförmig ist und der Zuführung des Speisewassers für die Duschbrause über ein in den Adapter eingestecktes oder eingeschraubtes Zuleitungsrohr oder auch über einen entsprechenden Zuleitungsschlauch dient, oder daß ein Adapter mit gegenüber dem Misch- und Regelkörper geschlossenem Boden/Teller zum Ansatz bzw. Einsatz von Accessoires wie Brausestange, Seifenschalenhalter und anderen Gegenständen eingesetzt ist. Im Rahmen der Erfindung kann statt des vorgenannten Adapters für Accessoires ein Adapter für diese an der Montageplatte der Sanitärarmatur montiert sein und durch die vorhandene Bohrung der Abdeckrosette reichen, wobei wie bisher die Öffnung für das Umstellventil mit einem Verschlußstopfen verschlossen ist.
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachstehend anhand von Zeichnungen erläutert. Es zeigen

Die erfindungsgemäße Sanitärarmatur besteht aus dem in der Wand eingesetzten Misch- und Regelkörper (1) mit Kalt- und Warmwasserzulauf sowie vorzugsweise einer Einhebelsteuerung (2, 3) für die Durchflußmenge und Regelung der Temperatur des Speisewassers. Ferner hat der Misch- und Regelkörper (1) zwei Wasserabgänge (4) und (5), die im Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 mit Blindflanschen oder in sonstiger bekannter Weise verschlossen sind. Darüber hinaus hat der Misch- und Regelkörper (1) in gleicher Ebene mit der Durchflußmengen- und Temperaturregelung (2, 3) die Öffnung/Bohrung(6). In diese ist anstelle des bei Benutzung der Sanitärarmatur als Badewannenarmatur mit gleichzeitigem Duschbrausenanschluß vorhandenen Umstellventils mit Zug- und Druckstab der Adapter (7) mittels eines Schraubgewindes oder in anderer Weise eingesetzt, der röhrenföhrmig sowie zum Misch- und Regelkörper offen ist und als Wasserabgang und Wasseranbindung für die Duschbrause dient. Dazu wird der Anschluß der Zuleitung für die Duschbrause in Form eines steifen Zuleitungsrohres (9) oder auch in Form eines flexiblen Zuleitungsschlauchs in den Adapter eingesetzt, wobei die Verbindung und Abdichtung vorzugsweise durch O-Ringe erfolgt, aber auch durch eine Schraubverbindung erfolgen kann, und vorteilhafterweise jeweils zusätzlich eine Klemm- bzw. Spannschraube vorgesehen ist. Das Zuleitungsrohr (9) wird durch die auf der Oberseite der Wand des Duschraums angeordnete Montageplatte (10) und die Abdeckrossette (11) durch die vorhandenen Bohrungen hindurch geführt.
Bei der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Ausführungsform des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) ist statt des Wasserabgang-Adapers (7) der Adapter (7') eingesetzt, der mit seinem in den Misch- und Regelkörper eindringenden Ende die Öffnung (6) und damit den Wasserabgang verschließt, während er auf der zum Duschraum gerichteten Seite röhrenförmig mit Innengewinde (8') oder auch ohne Innengewinde mit O-Ringen ausgestaltet ist. Dieser Adapter ist im übrigen wie der Adapter (7) angeordnet und dient der Anbindung von Accessoires für das Duschbad wie die abschnittsweise dargestellte Brausestange (12), einen Haltearm für Seifenschalen und so weiter.
Bei dieser Ausführungsform muß jedoch der Wasserabgang (4) am Misch- und Regelkörper (1) geöffnet und ein Wasseranschluß für die Duschbrause außerhalb der Duscharmatur vorgesehen sein.
Ebenfalls im Rahmen der Erfindung liegt es, in Abwandlung der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 2 den Adapter (7') für die Anbindung von Accessoires durch den Adapter (13) zu ersetzen, wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt ist. Dabei wird auf den Einsatz bzw. Ansatz des Adapters im Bereich der Öffnung (6) des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) verzichtet; stattdessen ist der Adapter (13) an der Montageplatte (10) auf der Wandoberfläche montiert, wobei er mit einem nasenförmigen Vorsprung (14) in die Bohrung der Montageplatte (10) eingesetzt und durch die Bohrung der Abdeckrosette (11) durchgeführt ist.
In der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 4 sind der Adapter (7) und die Wasserzuführung (9) für die Duschbrause in anderer Position als in Fig. 1 seitlich neben dem Bedienungshebel (2) angeordnet, wobei der Misch - und Regelkörper (1) innerhalb der Wand um 90° gedreht eingesetzt ist oder die Ausgänge anders angeordnet sind. Ebenso können entsprechend die Adapter (7') und (13) für Accessoires seitlich neben dem Bedienungshebel (2) angeordnet werden.
Bei der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 5 ist der Adapter (7') oder auch der Adapter (13) durch entsprechend geänderten Einbau der Sanitärarmatur unterhalb des Bedienungshebels (2) angeordnet und die dargestellte Brausestange (12) mittels einer Traverse (15) am Adapter angesetzt.
Wie in Fig. 6 dargestellt, kann, statt des Adapters (7') für Accessoires wie die dort dargestellte Duschstange, der Adapter (7) für die Wasserzuführung (9) der Duschbrause (16) unterhalb des Bedienungshebels (2) angeordnet und über das Verbindungsrohr (15') mit der Wasserzuführung verbunden sein.
Die Fig. 7 und Fig. 8 zeigen Anbringungsmöglichkeiten für eine Seifenschale (17; 18) seitlich versetzt neben dem Bedienungshebel (2) oder unterhalb von diesem angeordnet.
Es führt nicht aus der Erfindung heraus, wenn die mit den erfindungsgemäßen Adaptern versehene Sanitärarmatur (Einheitsarmatur) nicht unter Putz eingebaut wird, sondern aus irgendwelchen Gründen auf Putz, d. h. auf der Wandoberfläche montiert wird.
Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Anordnung und Gestaltung werden die bekannten Sanitärarmaturen für den Einbau in der Wand des Duschraums erheblich verbessert. Unter Beibehaltung der Verwendung derselben Armatur und insbesondere desselben Regel- und Mischkörpers als Badewannenarmatur mit Duschbrausenanschluss einerseits und für reine Duschbäder andererseits wird bei der Verwendung für Duschbäder die Wasseranbindung für die Duschbrause unmittelbar an der Armatur möglich und entfällt eine gesonderte Speisewasserzuleitung von der Armatur innerhalb der Wand mit separatem Wasseranschluß. Zugleich kann dieselbe Abdeckrosette sowohl bei Einsatz der Sanitärarmatur für Wannenbäder als auch für Duschbäder verwandt werden. Neben diese technischen Vorteile tritt die verbesserte ästhetische Gesamtwirkung bei Duschbädern. Auch wenn man auf die Benutzung der Öffnung (6) des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) zur Wasseranbindung mittels des Adapters (7) verzichtet und an dessen Stelle den Adapter (7') bzw. (13') zur unmittelbaren Anbindung von Accessoires an der Sanitärarmatur benutzt, ergibt sich der erhebliche technische Vorteil, daß eine gesonderte Anbringung solcher Accessoires wie Duschstangen, Seifenschalen usw. unter entsprechender Beschädigung der Wandoberfläche und insbesondere Fliesen vermieden wird. Zugleich wird auch in diesem Fall eine Verbesserung des ästhetischen Gesamtbilds im Duschraum erzielt.

Claims (7)

  1. Sanitärarmatur für Wannen- und/oder Duschbader, vorzugsweise in Form einer Mischbatterie mit Kalt- und Warmwasserzulauf sowie mit Einhebelregelung der Temperatur und Durchflußmenge des Wassers und mit Wasserabgängen zum Badewanneneinlauf einerseits (5) und zur Duschbrause andererseits (4), bei der bei Verwendung für kombinierte Wannen- und Duschbäder in den Misch- und Regelkörper ein Umstellventil mit Zug- und Druckstab für die Zuleitung des Wassers zum Wannen- oder Duschbrauseneinlauf eingesetzt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei Verwendung der Sanitärarmatur allein für Duschbäder statt des Umstellventils mit Zug- und Druckstab in die dafür vorgesehene Öffnung (6) des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) ein Adapter (7, 7') mittels eines Schraubgewindes oder in anderer Weise eingesetzt ist, wobei der Adapter (7) röhrenförmig sowie zum Misch- und Regelkörper (1) offen ist und zur Wasseranbindung für die Duschbrause das Zuleitungsrohr (9) in den Adapter (7) eingesetzt ist und die Wasserabgänge (4, 5) verschlossen sind, oder wobei der Adapter (7') die Öffnung (6) des Mischund Regelkörpers (1) verschließt und zur Anbindung von Accessoires wie eine Brausestange (12) oder eine Seifenschale (17, 18) dient und der Wasserabgang (4) zur Badewanne verschlossen ist
  2. Sanitärarmtaur nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Adapter (7, 7') durch die, für den Zug- und Druckstab des Umstellventils vorhandene Bohrung in der Montageplatte (10) auf der Oberfläche der Wand des Duschraums hindurchgeführt ist.
  3. Sanitärarmatur nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in die Öffnung (6) des Misch- und Regelkörpers (1) ein Blindflansch oder sonstiger bekannter Verschluß eingesetzt wird und ein gesonderter Adapter (13) mit einem nasenförmigen Vorsprung (14) in die vorhandene Bohrung der Montageplatte (10) eingesetzt und auf dieser montiert wird und daß am Adapter (13) Accessoires wie die Brausestange (12) oder Seifenschalen (17, 18) angebracht sind.
  4. Sanitärarmatur gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Adapter (7, 7', 13) durch entsprechenden Einbau der Sanitärarmatur oberhalb, unterhalb oder seitlich neben dem Bedienungshebel (2) angeordnet ist.
  5. Sanitärarmatur gemäß Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wasserzuführung (9) der Duschbrause (16) mittels des Verbindungsrohrs (15') mit dem Adapter (7) verbunden ist.
  6. Sanitärarmatur gemäß Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Accessoire wie die Brausestange (12) mittels einer Traverse (15) am Adapter (7', 13) angesetzt ist.
  7. Sanitärarmatur gemäß Anspruch 1 oder einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 2 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sanitärarmatur nicht in der Wand (unter Putz) eingesetzt, sondern auf der Wand (auf Putz) angeordnet ist.
