Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a pivoting barrier.
  • the locking mechanism of the barrier comprises a locking finger pivotally connected to said arm, and a plate, fixed to the free end of the pillar, comprising a deep hole. which is intended to receive the locking finger in the closed position of the barrier to lock this arm in this position, and a shallow hole which is intended to receive the locking finger in the open position of the barrier, to simply maintain said arm in this position.
  • This mechanism may furthermore include a system for retaining the locking / unlocking key of the barrier in its lock as long as the barrier is not brought back to the closed position, this mechanism possibly comprising an axis 42, a finger sleeve 43 radial 44 and a yoke 46 secured to the locking finger 37, as shown in FIGS. Figures 4 and 5 of the aforementioned document.
  • the locking mechanism described by this prior document has the disadvantage of being provided only for barriers whose arm has a stroke of 90 °, and require the introduction of parts of different structures, in particular a platinum of different structure, to adapt the barrier to an arm stroke of 180 °.
  • the manufacture of these pieces of different structures, and their assembly according to the demands, is a certain practical constraint.
  • the locking mechanism described by the prior document includes a large number of parts, which involves relatively long mounting operations. This number of parts and these assembly operations have a significant influence on the cost price of the barrier.
  • the barrier according to the prior document has certain limitations of use related to the structure of the locking mechanism, such as the difficulty of disassembly after forcing.
  • the object of the invention is to remedy these various disadvantages.
  • Its main objective is therefore to provide a barrier of the aforementioned type, whose locking mechanism can easily, from the same parts, be adapted to different needs that may arise (stroke of the arm of 90 ° or 180 °, clockwise direction of rotation or counterclockwise).
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a barrier of the aforementioned type, the locking mechanism comprises a relatively small number of parts, easier to manufacture and assemble than parts of the existing mechanism.
  • a further object of the invention is to provide a barrier of the aforementioned type, the locking mechanism allows expanded use possibilities.
  • the locking mechanism that comprises the barrier according to the invention is easy and quick to adapt, from the same parts, the different needs that may arise.
  • said plate comprises only three holes and is shaped to be mounted in two positions on the plate, one in which it is turned relative to the other.
  • actuating means thus make it possible to reverse the closing and opening positions of the barrier simply by moving this plate.
  • This inversion is particularly useful when the barrier comprises a retention system of the key for locking / unlocking the barrier in its lock: a barrier normally releasing the key when the arm is in the closed position can, thanks to said actuating means , be configured so that the key is released only when the arm is in the open position and is retained in its lock when the arm is in the closed position.
  • the barrier thus shaped ensures the locking of a barrier in the open position, without forgetting the key in the lock.
  • the figure 1 represents a barrier 1 comprising an arm 2 connected to a barrel 3, this barrel 3 being pivotally engaged on a pillar fixed to the ground.
  • the barrel 3 comprises a hole 4 for the engagement of a key 5 for locking / unlocking the barrier 1, visible on the figure 2 .
  • the key 5 comprises a gripping portion 5a, an intermediate axis 5b and an enlarged end portion 5c.
  • a cavity of specific profile, for example of triangular section in the example shown, is arranged in this enlarged end portion 5c.
  • the barrel 3 comprises a block 6 fixed to its bottom 3a, connected to a base 7.
  • the block is pierced with a hole 8 coaxial with the hole 4, pivotally receiving an axis 9 having a profile end complementary to that of the cavity of the key 5.
  • a sleeve 10 provided with a radial control finger 11, this finger 11 being, after assembly, engaged in a notch 12 that comprises a stirrup 13 U-shaped, and this stirrup 13 being integral with a locking finger 14.
  • the central wall of the stirrup 13 comprises a notch 15 whose upper portion is in V and allows the passage of said enlarged portion 5c of the key 5, the lower portion of this notch 15 being U-shaped and having a width greater than the width of said intermediate axis 5b but less than the width of the portion 5c.
  • the locking finger 14 is, after assembly, engaged and can slide vertically in a hole 16 arranged in the base 7.
  • the pivoting of the key 5 allows, through the sleeve 10 and the finger 11 engaged in the notch 12, to lift the stirrup assembly 13 - finger 14, thus unlocking the barrier 1.
  • the Figures 10 to 13 show the pillar 20, the base 21 anchoring the pillar 20 to the ground and an assembly 25 which can provide a deep hole for receiving the finger 14, for the locking of the barrier 1, and a shallow hole, in which the finger 14 penetrates by its own weight at the end of the opening stroke of the barrier 1, in order to keep the arm 2 in this open position.
  • the figure 10 shows that the upper end of the pillar 20 forms a collar 30 for receiving a base 31, this base 31 being connected to the pillar 20 by pins 32 and a screw 33.
  • the base 31 comprises two studs 35 for mounting the assembly 25 and two studs 36 for supporting this assembly 25.
  • the pins 32 and the screw 33 form "fuses" intended to break in the event of forcing of the barrier 1.
  • the flange 30 comprises a pin 37 and the base 31 comprises two stops 38 adapted to come against this pin 37 after forcing , to prevent the arm 2 from being crazy.
  • the figure 13 further shows a bearing 39 bearing on the assembly 25 by its inner ring and receiving the base 7 against its outer ring when the barrel 3 is engaged on the pillar 20.
  • the assembly 25 comprises a plate 40, a plate 41, a stop piece 42, a plate 43 and screws 44, 45, respectively for mounting the plate 41 on the plate 40 and mounting the piece 42 on the plate. plate 41.
  • the plate 40 comprises two radial notches 50 for the engagement of a stud protruding from the wall of the barrel 3, radially and inwardly.
  • This nipple is intended to be engaged in one of the notches 50 and then under the flange 30 through notches included in this collar 30, which ensures the retention of the barrel 3 on the pillar 20.
  • the fact of providing two notches 50 in the plate 40 and two corresponding notches in the flange 30 makes it possible to overcome the existence of a possible obstacle preventing the arm 2 from being brought into the correct position for the engagement of the stud of the shank 3 under the collar 30.
  • the plate 40 comprises two lateral bosses 51 delimiting a central zone 52 of lesser thickness, two lower holes for its engagement on the studs 35 until resting on the studs 36, three holes 53 adapted to receive the locking finger 14, a axial hole 54, receiving the inner ring of the bearing 39, and tapped holes 55 for receiving the screws 44, 45.
  • Two of the holes 53 are located on the same side of the plate 40 and are angularly spaced 90 ° while the third hole 53 is 180 ° distant from one of the other two holes 53.
  • the plate 41 comprises a circular central portion 60, two lateral lugs 61 pierced with holes, allowing its bearing on the bosses 51 and its attachment to the plate 40 by means of the screws 44, an opening 62 allowing the passage of the bearing 39 , three holes 63 of the same diameter as the holes 53 and holes 64 allowing the passage of the screws 45.
  • Two of the holes 63 are located on the same side of the plate 41 and are angularly 90 ° apart while the third hole 63 is 180 ° apart from one of the other two holes 63.
  • the piece 42 has a shape in a portion of a circle and comprises a median recess 65 at its rectilinear edge, a hole 66 allowing the engagement of the bearing 39 through it and two holes 67 allowing the passage of the screws 45.
  • the plate 43 has, for its part, a thickness slightly less than that of the bosses 51, so that it can be slid between the plate 40 and the plate 41 after mounting this plate on this plate, this plate 43 having dimensions such that it can obscure one of holes 53 without simultaneously occulting another of these holes 53. In order not to hinder the passage of a screw 45, this plate has a notch 68.
  • the plate 41 can be fixed on the plate 40 in two different positions, this plate 41 being returned to move from one position to another. He understands himself from figures 3 and 4 that, in a position of the plate 41, the two holes 63 of this plate 41 located at 90 ° from each other coincide with the two holes 53 of the plate 40 located at 90 ° one of the other; it is likewise understood from the Figures 5 and 6 that, in the other position of the plate 41, the two holes 63 of this plate 41 located 180 ° from each other coincide with the two holes 53 of the plate 40 located at 180 ° one of the other.
  • one of the pairs of holes 53, 63 in coincidence is able to form the aforementioned deep hole and the other of these pairs of holes 53, 63 in coincidence is able to form the aforementioned shallow hole, the locking finger 14 going from one pair of holes to the other between the opening and closing positions of the barrier 1.
  • the wafer 43 may simply be slid between the plate 41 and the plate 40 to conceal a hole 53 and allow the corresponding hole 63 to form said shallow hole.
  • the piece 42 is fixed on the plate 41 so that its edges delimited by said medial recess 65 are flush with the holes 63 located at 90 ° to each other. These edges thus constitute limit stops for pivoting of the locking finger 14.
  • the piece 42 is fixed on the plate 41 so that its edges located on either side of said median recess 65 are flush with the holes 63 located 180 ° from each other.
  • the assembly 25 can thus be easily and quickly adapted to the various situations that may arise (stroke of the arm of 90 ° or 180 °, direction of rotation of the clockwise or counter-clockwise arm), using the same basic parts 40 to 43.
  • the figure 7 shows a set similar to that just described, but having a somewhat more complex structure.
  • the plate 40 comprises a radial bore 70 suitable for receiving, as shown in FIG. figure 13 a cylinder 71 actuating, from outside the barrier 1, the wafer 43, which in this case has a U shape.
  • This cylinder 71 comprises a terminal flat 72 allowing its operation by means of a suitable key and , after engagement in the bore 70, receives a radial pin 73, this pin being engaged in a slot 74 that includes the plate 40, passing through the opening 62 of the plate 41 and being engaged in a notch 75 that includes the plate 43 .
  • the figure 7 shows that the plate 40 comprises a pair of holes 53a located at 90 ° from each other and a pair of holes 53b located at 180 ° from each other, the holes 53a and the holes 53b being arranged on two lines parallel to one another and perpendicular to the axis of the bore 70.
  • the plate 40 further comprises an additional hole 76 located 180 ° of one of the holes 53a.
  • the holes 53b and the holes 53a and 76 are sized to be able to be engaged on the pads 35, so that the pair of holes 53b and the pair of holes 53a, 76 allow the mounting of the plate 40 on the base 31 in two directions. staggered positions of 45 ° relative to each other, as shown by the Figures 11 and 12 by comparing. In the case of figure 11 , the holes 53a and 76 are used, and in the case of the figure 12 , the holes 53b are used. Note that in both cases, the hole 53a or 53b located lower right of the figures, intended to form the aforementioned deep hole, is in the same angular position relative to the pillar 20.
  • the plate 41 can, as shown by Figures 8 and 9 , be mounted on the plate 40 in two reversed positions. It comprises two holes 63a proper, in a position, to coincide with the holes 53a, thus delimiting a stroke of the locking finger 14, and therefore of the arm 2, by 90 ° (cf. figure 8 ), and two holes 63b clean, in the other position to coincide with the holes 53b, thus defining a stroke of the locking finger 14 of 180 ° (cf figure 9 ).
  • the opening 62 is dimensioned so that the light 74 remains uncovered in these two mounting positions of the plate 41.
  • the piece 42 has a shape similar to that described above except that, in this case, it comprises four receiving holes 67 of screws 45 and two holes 77 for receiving pins 78, to strengthen its mounting. In the same way as described above, this piece 42 forms limiting stops for the movement of the locking finger 14, that the stroke of this finger 14 is done on 90 ° ( figures 8 and 11 ) or that it is done on 180 ° ( figures 9 and 12 ).
  • the set 25 shown on the figure 7 can be used as is, as shown by the Figures 8 and 9 , or with the cylinder assembly 71 - finger 73 - plate 43 U.
  • the two lateral branches of this plate 43 in U can be occult in turn, by sliding of the wafer 43 caused by the pivoting of the cylinder 73, thus allowing to temporarily interchange the deep hole and the shallow hole, in particular to force a user to lock the barrier in the open position if he wants to recover his key when normally it is only in the closed position that this key can be recovered.
  • a notch 50 can be used to receive a label 80 indicating in a synthetic manner the configuration given to an assembly 25, namely the direction of pivoting of the arm 2, the fact that the key 5 is captive, free or that the system either reversible, or the stroke set for arm 2.
  • the invention provides a pivotal barrier having, compared to the homologous barriers of the prior art, the decisive advantage of having a locking mechanism which can easily be adapted from the same parts. to different needs may arise (arm stroke 90 ° or 180 °, direction of clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, need for rapid interchange of deep and shallow holes).
  • This locking mechanism further comprises a relatively small number of parts, is easier to manufacture and assemble than the existing mechanisms and allows expanded use possibilities.
  • the plate 41 may comprise a fourth hole 63 located at 90 ° from the other holes 63, this fourth hole being able to constitute a deep hole as mentioned above and the two other holes 63 located at 90 ° of it being able to form holes shallow.
  • the mechanism thus formed allows for a barrier whose arm is pushing out and is pushing to enter.
