Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrical connector with a housing, the two flexible arms for attaching the housing to a Holding device.
  • Such connectors are basically known. They serve a so-called “floating" attachment of the housing to the holding device to create the plugging of a connector counterpart should facilitate, even if this is not exactly in the direction of insertion is aligned in the rest position connector housing.
  • the problem with known connectors that the flexible Arms only a displacement of the housing in one or two allow mutually perpendicular directions transverse to the direction of insertion.
  • a connector according to the preamble of claim 1 is disclosed in EP-A-0 907,223.
  • US-B-6 234 817 describes a connector with a housing, which by means of two rigid fasteners on a holding device is fastened. To attach the rigid fasteners the holding device screw connections are provided. So that Housing in horizontal and vertical direction relative to the holding device is movable, the screw on play.
