Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tubular arrangement for passing a paper pulp suspension, into which a second liquid can be supplied by a mixing device, according to the preamble of the present claim 1.
  • a corresponding device is made WO 02/072250 A known.
  • the second liquid in the context of this invention is, for example, a suspension, a liquid mixture and the like, which consist essentially of water, but the invention is in principle also applicable to liquids and liquid mixtures, which are not based on an aqueous basis.
  • a second liquid is added via nozzle tubes of the first liquid.
  • the first liquid flows through a pipe having a large diameter relative to the nozzle tubes.
  • the nozzle tubes extend at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the tube through which the first fluid flows.
  • too little additive is added in the center of this tube, and too little in the peripheral zones or in the peripheral area of the tube. A even interference is therefore not possible there.
  • hydraulic mixing devices are known, but require a lot of effort on controllers and a variety of valves.
  • white water the water produced in the screen area of the paper machine, so-called white water, is brought together via pipelines with a retention agent which is likewise dissolved in water. Subsequently, white water can be added to this mixture again. This mixture is then introduced into a tube for a highly concentrated pulp suspension, which is then fed to the headbox. Due to the need for hydraulic mixing devices narrow pipe cross-sections are very prone to failure.
  • the additive In the first known solutions, the additive must be diluted with fresh water, only in the third known solution, the contact time with the dilution water is sufficiently short to work with the reclaimed from the screening zone process water can.
  • this object is achieved in an arrangement of the type mentioned above in that the mixing device has a plurality of openings and that the openings are greater, the greater they flow around Partial volume flows of paper pulp suspension are.
  • the invention results in comparison with the prior art less effort in the implementation of the addition of an additive or generally when adding a second liquid to another liquid, because fewer valves and less flow meter are required.
  • the arrangement according to the invention is also suitable for use in a machine for producing a fibrous web, in particular for process water as a liquid.
  • this object is also achieved in an arrangement of the type mentioned, that the distances between the openings are the smaller, the larger the partial volume flows of the paper pulp suspension flowing around the openings.
  • This measure also ensures a uniform mixing of the two media over the entire diameter of the tubular body through which they flow.
  • the inflow angles of the second liquid flowing out of the openings can be arranged in relation to one another in accordance with the partial volume flows of the paper pulp suspension flowing around them.
  • angles at which the second liquid flows out into the paper pulp suspension are chosen so that a stronger mixing takes place in the region in which a larger partial volume of the paper pulp suspension is present, and that a weaker mixing is realized where a smaller partial volume of the paper pulp suspension is present.
  • a tubular arrangement means any body having a closed outer circumference, which also extends more in its length than in the circumferential direction.
  • metering lance introduced, which has a plurality of holes, in particular bores.
  • the metering lance has larger and / or more closely spaced holes in the vicinity of the outer circumference of the tubular arrangement than in the center thereof.
  • the holes in the metering lance can be arranged either in one or more rows; so the openings in the rows can also be arranged offset from each other over the circumference of the metering lance; For example, the openings adjacent rows may each be arranged at an angle of 60 ° to each other.
  • two metering lances are present in the tubular body, which are arranged at acute or an obtuse angle, in particular at a 90 ° angle to each other.
  • metering lances are used which have a connection for the supply of dilution water.
  • concentration of an additive to be added to the pulp suspension can be controlled even better.
  • a static mixer can be mounted directly in front of at least one of the metering lances.
  • the at least one metering lance is rotatably mounted in the arrangement.
  • the metering lance can be replaced with the one for the second fluid, i. in particular for the additive, maximum allowable shear rate both in and against the flow direction in the main stream of paper pulp suspension to be rotated.
  • the metering lances can also be adjusted by motor. Also by this measure, the mixing of the two liquids can be influenced.
  • the invention also relates to a method for passing a Paper pulp suspension through a tubular arrangement according to the present claim 9 ..
  • this method is configured such that the second liquid is introduced into the tubular arrangement by sizes of openings in the mixing device adapted to the respective partial volume flow of the paper pulp suspension.
  • the mixing of the two liquids can also be realized in such a way that the second liquid is introduced into the tubular arrangement by distances of openings in the mixing device adapted to the respective partial volume flow of the paper pulp suspension.
  • the mixing means which is formed by a metering lance and from which it is mixed into the paper pulp suspension, on the kinetics of an additive and a diluent, from which the second liquid is set to the mixing energy required for the mixing between the paper pulp suspension and the second liquid.
  • the diluent in particular when water or process water is used, flows at a speed of 1 to 4 m / s, that the additive flows at a speed of 2 to 10 m / s and that the from the composite second liquid flows at a rate of 0.2 to 5 m / s in the paper pulp suspension.
  • a paper pulp suspension is conveyed in a tube for feeding a pulp suspension to a headbox of a machine for producing a fibrous web.
  • a second liquid is mixed in via metering lances 2, 3.
  • the metering lances 2, 3 are each connected via connecting pieces 4, 5 with supply lines 6, via which the second liquid is supplied.
  • Each of the metering lances 2, 3 is provided with at least one row of openings 7, which have a large distance to the center of the tube assembly 1 and a smaller distance to the outer wall 10 of the tube assembly 1 out.
  • the distances of the openings 7 to each other are chosen so that there is a uniform mixing of the second liquid over all sub-volumes of paper pulp suspension in the pipe assembly 1. If the cross-sectional area of the pipe arrangement 1 is divided into concentric rings around the center of the pipe arrangement 1, at which the metering lances 2, 3 intersect, it can be seen that the exterior of the rings occupies a larger area than the ring adjacent to the inside , Accordingly, more openings 7 in the metering lance 2, 3 must be provided for the outer ring.
  • the metering lances 2, 3 may also be configured so that they have only one row of openings 7 towards the center of the tube assembly 1, while they have outwardly two, three or more rows of openings 7, so that the number the rows of openings 7 increases towards the outside. In this case, the distance between the openings 7 in each case does not necessarily have to be reduced to the outside as well.
  • the metering lance 2 ( Fig. 2 ) is closed at one end by a plug 8, while at its other end is connected via a connection 9 to a conduit 11 which can be opened or closed and serves to flush the metering lance 2 to remove deposits therefrom. During operation, the line 11 is kept closed.
  • dilution water is supplied via the feed line 6, while an additive is fed via a further feed line 12, which is mixed with the dilution water in a connection or mixer 13 to form the second liquid, which is then introduced into the metering lance 2 via the connecting piece 4 introduced and introduced from this via the openings 7 in the pipe assembly 1.
  • the metering lance 3 is constructed as the metering lance. 2
  • two metering lances 14, 15 are arranged in the tube assembly 1, each having openings 16.
  • the openings 16 are small in the region of the central axis of the tube assembly 1 and are getting larger in the direction of the outer wall 10. It is also achieved by this measure that more of the second liquid is mixed into the paper pulp suspension in the outer region than in the inner region, because in the outer region a larger volume flow of the second liquid flows.
  • the metering lances 14, 15 may be equipped with a plurality of rows of openings 16, wherein the rows do not have to extend over the entire length of the metering lances 14, 15, but for example, be arranged only in the region facing the wall 10 can be to supply more of the second liquid there than in the middle of the tube assembly.
  • the pipe arrangement 1 ( Fig. 4 ) has on the outside of its wall 10 collar cover 17, 18, 19, 20, by means of which the metering lances 2, 3 and 14, 15 are held crossed to each other. There may be any number of metering lances in the tube assembly 1, which are then preferably distributed symmetrically over the cross section. At their ends, the pipe assembly 1 each has a collar 21, 22, via which it is connected to other elements of a pipeline.
  • the tube assembly 1 is slightly conical in the longitudinal direction.
  • pipelines can be used according to the invention, for example those with a rectangular or elliptical cross section.
  • the sizes and distances of the openings and the number of rows of openings must then be adjusted according to the teachings of this invention to the selected cross section.
  • metering lance 2 is shown in cross-section, with lines 23 each mark the centers of the openings 7.
  • the openings 7, 16 are preferably designed as circular bores. But it can also be any other forms of openings are used.
