Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum gegenseitigen Andrücken zweier Walzen (14, 16) in einem Streichwerk umfasst Krafterzeugungsmittel (26) sowie Sensormittel (36) zur Erfassung der Andrückkraft zwischen den Walzen (14, 16). Erfindungsgemäß sind die Sensormittel (36) außerhalb von Walzenkörpern der beiden Walzen (14, 16) angeordnet.
Ferner wird ein Verfahren zur Einstellung der Anpressung der Walzen (14, 16) vorgeschlagen, wobei mindestens eine der Walzen (14, 16) einen radial elastischen Walzenbezug (128, 130) aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß wird zunächst eine Abstand-Kraft-Charakteristik für die Walzenpaarung (14, 16) ermittelt. Um im Arbeitsbetrieb der Einrichtung eine gewünschte Andrückkraft der Walzen (14, 16) zu erzielen, wird aus der Abstand-Kraft-Charakteristik ein zugehöriger Soll-Wert des Achsabstands (e) ermittelt und an der Walzenpaarung (14, 16) eingestellt.
