Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Beurteilung der Beschaffenheit von mindestens einem umlaufenden Band (12, 13, 14, 15), insbesondere von einem wasseraufnehmenden Entwässerungsband und/oder einem Transferband in einer Papiermaschine (10), mit einer Einrichtung zur Messung der Permeabilität des mindestens einen umlaufenden Bandes (12, 13, 14, 15). Die aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Vorrichtungen beschränken sich ausschließlich auf die Permeabilitätsmessung. Diese Vorrichtungen weisen jedoch den Nachteil auf, dass sie insbesondere an Löchern, Rissen oder dergleichen falsche Aussagen über den Zustand des mindestens einen umlaufenden Bandes (12, 13, 14, 15) liefern. Deshalb soll die Zuverlässigkeit und die Genauigkeit bei der Beurteilung der Beschaffenheit des mindestens einen umlaufenden Bandes (12, 13, 14, 15) verbessert werden. Aus diesem Grund ist die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zusätzlich mit einer Einrichtung zur Messung der im mindestens einen umlaufenden Band (12, 13, 14, 15) enthaltenen Feuchte ausgerüstet.
