Definitions
- the invention relates to a cleaning unit for cleaning a Driving device in the manner of an escalator or a Moving walk, according to the preamble of claim 1, one from an operating mode in a cleaning mode displaceable Driving device according to the preamble of claim 9 and a Method for carrying out a cleaning sequence for cleaning the driving device according to the preamble of claim 10.
- Driving devices are escalators and Moving walkways with a variety of kiting units leading to one Endless conveyor are connected. Users of the driving equipment stand on treads of the kiting units or they open the driving devices in the same direction as the Driving facilities themselves.
- the kiting units form escalator steps, in the Further referred to as stages, and in moving surfaces form the Steering units pavement pallets, hereinafter referred to as pallets designated.
- Escalators overcome with relatively large Inclination angle greater differences in height as entire floors. Moving walkways are horizontal or slightly inclined, but in the Generally with lower angles of inclination than escalators.
- the kiting units will, especially at worse Weather, enter with wet and dirty footwear. This will not only tread the kiting units but also laterally adjacent stationary parts of the driving equipment dirty. Additional sources of dirt are leaking or excess lubricants with which certain parts of the Driving devices are lubricated, as well as abrasion of Guide elements that move the moving device rub against each other. To the driving device functional and safe and increase their lifespan, as well as to Avoidance of noise from worn and soiled parts of the Ferry facilities, it is therefore necessary, sufficient To take cleaning measures.
- Manual cleaning is provided by the operators of the driving facilities not appreciated because it is uncomfortable and time consuming and each has a very long business interruption.
- JP-08157176-A describes a cleaning system for cleaning from the side of the kiting units adjacent stationary Sharing the driving facilities.
- This system contains Cleaning elements in the form of brush arrangements suitable for User invisible below the treads in the Side portions of a stepping unit are arranged and with move this together.
- the brush arrangements can be closed Cleaning purposes temporarily from rest positions laterally outwards into Actual actions in which they move along the one to be cleaned grind fixed areas of the vehicle.
- the Adjustment of the cleaning elements or brush arrangements happens remotely.
- As an advantage of this cleaning system it is seen that the operation of the vehicle during the Cleaning process must not be interrupted. Nevertheless, it is It is necessary from time to time to operate the vehicle to break down to worn brush arrangements of the To replace cleaning elements. The wear is likely be relatively high, since the brush assemblies always in same orientation along the surfaces to be cleaned grind.
- the remote control for the adjustment the cleaning elements or brush assemblies relatively expensive and, being in the polluted area of the vehicle is more prone to failure or damage.
- the cleaning elements are brush assemblies formed in side areas of the cleaning stage are arranged such that they during the Cleaning process a little over the lateral boundary protrude from the kiting units and the adjacent stationary ones Touch walls clean.
- the cleaning elements can also be designed as a sponge or rag.
- a car wash could also be formed: sponge, brush, rag and hair dryer.
- Cleaning elements in the form of brushes are subject to only one low wear. With a suitable selection of the bristle material, the bristle dimensions and the contact pressure do not arise Scratches on the cleaned surfaces, neither by the Even bristles by foreign particles, since such of the Brushing the brush assemblies not or hardly on these surfaces pressed or looped along these surfaces. Moreover it is not because of the elastic flexibility of the bristles necessary to position the brushes with high accuracy.
- Brush assembly which has brushes which above the surface of the cleaning unit, the Tread of the kiting units corresponds.
- the driving device is no longer unrestricted Audience will be provided, but it is after all possible for operators on this interface can stop.

- a flowable Cleaning agent preferably a fluid
- the flowable cleaning agent from a Detergent dispensers are fed, the solidary moved with the cleaning step.
- the supply of the Cleaning agent is advantageously carried out automatically or by the Gravity.
- the fluid dispenser can, depending on the arrangement of the Brush, a falling stream dispenser or a pump dispenser, wherein the pump may have respective drive types. It can e.g. electrically, mechanically or chemically by fuel cells or be driven by compressed air.
- a driving device in the manner of an escalator or a Moving walkway, with kiting units leading to an endless conveyor are usually located in one Operating mode, wherein the endless conveyor is driven.
- the driving in put a cleaning mode, the endless conveyor stopped, at least one stepping unit by at least one Cleaning unit replaced, the endless conveyor for the actual cleaning driven again and then the Cleaning units dismantled and kiting units again to be assembled. Then the driving device can be returned to their operating mode.
