Definitions

  • the invention relates to a protective garment made of metal ring mesh, such as e.g. a protective glove having the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a protective ring made of metal ring mesh is used as a protective glove e.g. from WO 95/30346 A1 and is known e.g. worn by butchers to protect themselves against slashing, stabbing and cutting injuries.
  • Such metal ring braids are highly flexible and give their hand to protect their mobility.
  • To avoid slipping off of the glove there has already been proposed to provide the glove with a band of metal ring mesh.
  • the metal ring mesh of the band is arranged at right angles to the running direction of the metal ring mesh of the glove in order to achieve the effect of a toothing by engagement of the metal ring meshes.
  • a protective glove made of metal ring mesh is also known from US 6,076,190 A.
  • CH 258 934 A discloses the use of a metallic wavy band as a fastening means per se.
  • a protective glove in which a closure band is guided by recordings on the waistband of the glove.
  • a latching rail for the waistband adjustment of pants, skirts or the like with transverse to the longitudinal direction of the rail locking recesses is known for the textile sector.
  • this latching recesses engages in a manner not shown a on the attached to a collar portion locking rail slidable locking shoe, which is attached to the other waistband part.
  • the aim is there to secure the Council shoe against accidental loosening and falling out of the locking rail.
  • a comparable solution with a rack is known for the textile sector from DE 30 10 596 A1.
  • the present invention seeks to provide a durable protective clothing.
  • the protective clothing has a wavy band as attachment means for attachment to the body.
  • a wavy band is more resistant to kinking than conventional inserts since it is already preformed to a certain radius.
  • the wave-shaped band is elastically bendable with the waves, transversely it has sufficient stiffening effect.
  • the wavy band in the metal ring mesh such as e.g. embedded in a channel, it fills this channel better, so that it does not come to projecting limbs of the metal ring mesh due to the larger radius in the region of the transitions or edges of the wavy band. This avoids pressing individual chain links on the skin of the user, so that the glove is more comfortable to wear.
  • the wavy band cooperates with a releasably clamped in the waves of the tape clamping element, which in turn can carry a push button or a push-button receptacle.
  • a mechanically simple adjustment can be effected in that the wave-shaped band only has to be elastically deformed in order to release and adjust the clamping element adapted to the wave-shaped band. The operation is considerably simplified.
  • the band is made of metal.
  • an all-metal glove can be created, which is easy to sterilize and thus meets the particular hygiene requirements in the food industry.
  • Other materials, however, are also suitable for use with the tape.
  • Figures 1 to 3 show a protective clothing once for a whole arm and once in the area of the hand and the forearm, which at least partially consists of a metal ring mesh.
  • the protective clothing can also be attached to other parts of the body, such as the legs or the body itself.
  • Such protective clothing is used to protect eg Metzgem against puncture, cut and cut injuries. It has at least at least one preferably metallic band-shaped fastening means 10 for fastening the protective clothing to the body of the user.
  • stiffening means 23, 32 are provided for stiffening and / or reinforcing in particular the end and edge regions of the protective clothing, here a protective glove is.
  • the reinforcing means serve in particular for end-of-fabric reinforcement in edge regions of the metal ring mesh.
  • the fastening means 10 is formed by a wave-shaped band 30, which is concatenated with the protective clothing or the protective glove, connected or inserted into the metal ring mesh.
  • a wave-shaped band has the disadvantage that the wave-shaped band is flexible in one direction, it also has the advantage that it is significantly better stiffened in the other direction than a flat band.
  • the band 30 may in principle be made of any material which is wave-formable or shaped. Preferably, however, it is made of metal, because of metal, a wavy band can be produced most cheaply and currently least applies. Thus, an all-metal glove can be created, which is easy to sterilize and meets the particular hygiene requirements in the food sector, since the tape does not have to be removed or even over time becomes brittle, as previously known silicone or plastic tapes. However, other materials are also suitable for use with the tape.
  • the wavy band 30 of the protective garment 40 When the wavy band 30 of the protective garment 40 is e.g. completely or partially inserted according to the figures 7 to 10 in a channel 35, it takes in the channel according to the figures 9 and 10, a corresponding space, so that the metal ring mesh with a larger radius to the band 30 hugs as this in a conventional Deposit is the case. This results in that a pressure due to the protrusion of individual members of the metal ring mesh is significantly reduced.
  • the wavy band 30 Since the wavy band 30 is already preformed by the introduction of the shafts 30a, it holds a buckling stress longer than a conventional band, since the waves initially counteract further kinking. Before a new kink forms, the waves catch a corresponding transverse movement of the band. As a result, the wavy band 30, regardless of where in the protective clothing 40 it is used, significantly more durable than the previously used fasteners.
  • the waves of the band 30 extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the band.
  • FIGS 4 and 5 show a protective glove, which is equipped in the region of the wrist with a fastening means 10, which is a wavy band 30 linked in a connection region with the protective glove.
  • a fastening means 10 which is a wavy band 30 linked in a connection region with the protective glove.
  • at least one push-button device 11 is provided with at least one standard push-button 12 and at least one push-button receptacle 13 operatively connected thereto.
  • Push button 12 or push button receptacle 13 are variably adjustable on the wavy band 30 in the longitudinal direction, so as to meet different sizes of the user.
  • Push button 12 or push button receptacle 13 are arranged in the exemplary embodiment on a releasably cooperating with the shafts 30 a of the band, along the wavy belt slidable clamping element 31.
  • the length of the clamping element 31 is slightly smaller than a multiple of a shaft 30a and a wave of the wave-shaped band 30.
  • the length is so much smaller that results in a curvature of the band, which in an arrangement on the hand or the arm of the User corresponds approximately to the curvature in the voltage applied to the band hand or arm area of the user.
  • the clamping member 31 engages in the fixed state on the band 30 with two transverse brackets 31 a in two wave troughs on the top of the band and with a holding element 31 b it engages under the band, with this holding member 31 b preferably the push button 12 or the push-button receptacle 13 attached is.
  • the clamping member 31 can be converted by elastic deformation of the band 30 in an adjustment position in which it comes out of engagement with the shafts 30a of the band. If the band is bent down in Figure 6, the crossbar 31 a are released and can be moved along the belt. This results in an easy-to-use and easily adjustable adjustment, especially when the wavy band is to be used as a fastening means in conjunction with a closing means 14.
  • FIGS. 7 to 10 A corresponding arrangement is shown in FIGS. 7 to 10.
  • the wavy band runs in a channel 35 of metal ring mesh.
  • the band is fixed in place in the spiral channel at one point by means of a screw 36.
  • This screw is the wave-shaped band shown in FIG. 9 at the same time as a mother, via the countersunk screw and the push button 12 is attached at the same time.
  • the wave-shaped band 30 emerges from the channel 35 at a location which is remote from the push-button fastening, that is to say from the screw 36, and lies in FIG. 8 at the top left over the metal ring mesh.
  • FIGS. 9 and 10 show how the wavy band 30 is received in the channel 35 and also the resulting radius when nestling the metal ring mesh to the wavy band.
  • the fasteners 10 run completely around the user's hand or arm. This is not absolutely necessary since an arrangement on a part of the circumference is sufficient. Under certain circumstances, it is sufficient that, as shown in FIG. 18, mutually separated or contiguous sections 30b of a waveband are engaged with one another in such a way that a latching results. Depending on which geometry of the band is selected, so a stronger or lower fixation can be achieved.
  • the wave-shaped band 30 may also be pre-curved or spirally biased.
  • pre-deformation engagement of the waves of überpulüegenden sections 30b and thus the locking is facilitated.
  • the spirally biased wavy band is arranged as a fastening means 10 so that a passage of the user's hand expands the spiral.
  • Known arrangements with a smooth spiral close around the user's hand and can hinder the free operation.
  • superimposed portions 30b of the wave-shaped tape 30 by engaging the waves with each other releasably locked, so that the spiral does not apply directly to the wrist or the arm.
  • FIGS. 11 to 17 show various possibilities for this.
  • a sheet metal folding as a closing element 33 is welded or riveted to the end 30c.
  • a slotted round member may be attached, as long as it is ensured that this does not preclude a corresponding movement or displacement of the end of the wavy band.
  • terminating elements 33 instead of such terminating elements 33, according to FIGS.
  • the end 30c of the band can also be folded over or rolled up.
  • 15a and 15b show the arrangement of a welded-on or riveted fitting part 34, wherein this protrudes here over the width of the band 30.
  • the shape does not have to be round, other shapes are possible.
  • FIG. 17 shows a semicircular fitting part 34 covering the band end.
  • a protective glove is shown with a cuff 22, where there is used as a stiffening element 23, a wavy band 30.
  • the fastening means 10 both in the area of the wrist and at the end of the cuff 22 can be formed by wavebands, but also by prior art systems.
  • FIGS. 19a to 19e show different geometries of the wave-shaped band 30 in a side view.
  • Other shapes are possible.
  • use of the wavy band of FIG. 19b would suggest that it will meander much more than the other bands.
  • Possible are also rectangular or triangular bands according to the figures 19d and 19e.
  • different sections of a wavy band 30 may be shaped differently geometrically.
  • the waveband itself usually has a plate thickness between 0.1 to 0.8 mm.
  • the wave-shaped band 30 is pre-curved or spirally biased in particular when arranged on the circumference of the hand or the arm, wherein preferably portions 30 b of the wave-shaped band 30 are latched to each other due to the induced by the pre-deformation residual stress by engaging the shafts 30 a superimposed portions.
