Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'activation de moyens de retenue (8) au cours duquel au moins un signal caractérisant une collision est généré. Dès qu'une collision est identifiée, des phases de choc définies dans le temps sont établies et pour chaque phase de choc, un type de choc et une gravité de choc sont déterminés au moyen dudit signal. Les différents moyens de retenue (8) sont activés en fonction de la gravité de choc et/ou du type de choc.
