Definitions
- the invention relates to a mounting arrangement for a shower hose, in particular a shower hose in a washstand or the like.
- the invention has for its object to provide a way to further improve the benefits of such a hand shower.
- the invention proposes a mounting arrangement with the features mentioned in claim 1. Developments of the invention are the subject of dependent claims.
- the arrangement of a holding device now makes it possible to prevent the automatic retraction.
- the holding device provided for this purpose is of course not only useful for horizontally running washbasins with a vertically extending feed-through, but also for all types of hose arrangements in which retraction of the hose is desired for reasons of practicality.
- the invention combines the advantage of automatic retraction of the Hose with the possibility to switch off this automatic under certain circumstances.
- the holding device is arranged on or in the bushing element.
- the invention proposes that the coupling itself can be actuated manually by engaging the bushing element. This could be done in such a way that, for example, the retraction is normally prevented, but that the retraction is triggered by actuating an actuating element or only by rotating a part of the bushing element.
- the holding device primarily serves, of course, to prevent the hose from being pulled back. However, it is also conceivable to design a holding device in such a way that it prevents the hose from moving in both directions.
- the coupling itself can be actuated by loosening or actuating the holding device by manipulating the hose.
- Another possibility also proposed by the invention is to design the coupling in such a way that it can be released by pulling on the hose and actuated again by pulling on the hose again.
- a third way of actuating the clutch by pulling on the hose can be that a short pull releases the clutch, but pulling it a long way causes the clutch to engage.
- the holding device can achieve the fixing of the hose in at least one direction in a wide variety of ways. Since a shower hose usually consists of a rubber-like material, one can use a force fit to fix it, which deforms the shower hose somewhat. A relatively simple configuration can achieve this.
- Another possibility of holding the shower hose in place is to hold it at least partially in a form-fitting manner. This lends itself to the usual coiled or ribbed shower hoses.
- the holding device should also be able to release the hose again with the aid of the coupling, it can be designed, for example, in such a way that it only holds the hose in relation to the holding device in a certain rotational position of the hose, while allowing it to pass through in another rotating position.
- the decoupling would consist in turning the shower hose or a part connected to the shower hose by a certain angle.
- the retaining device has a sleeve which has an inwardly projecting inclined surface at at least one position.
- This inclined surface can be understood as a wedge surface or as a cam, against which another part can run in order to hold the hose.
- the sleeve can have a configuration in which the inside diameter is not reduced, that is to say remains cylindrical, for example.
- the holding device can have a clamping sleeve which is guided to be movable in the outer sleeve to a limited extent and which has at least one circumferential position a projection which projects beyond the rest of the clamping sleeve.
- This projection can interact with the inclined surface of the outer sleeve to produce the jam.
- the outer sleeve of the fixing device can in particular form part of the bushing element.
- the projection of the clamping sleeve can, for example, only extend over part of the circumference of the clamping sleeve, while there is then no projection over the rest of the circumference. There may also be several such projections.
- the circumferential extent of the projections or even just a single projection can advantageously be selected such that it is smaller than the gap measured in the circumferential direction between the inclined surfaces of the outer sleeve. Then the clamping sleeve can be turned into a position in which there is no engagement between the projections and inclined surfaces, which corresponds to a release position. The intervention then occurs in a different rotational position.
- the projection can be arranged such that it can move in the radial direction, for example on a resilient part. During its radial movement inwards, a part connected to it, or else its radial inside, can come into a frictional connection and / or positive connection with the hose guided through the clamping sleeve.
- the interaction between the projection and the inclined surface thus also leads to the fixing of the clamping sleeve on the hose.
- the projection can be formed on a molded tongue of the clamping sleeve. This tongue can also serve to produce a slight frictional connection between the hose and the clamping sleeve in the longitudinal direction of the hose.
- the at least one projection is formed on a separate component, which is then attached to the clamping sleeve.
- This separate component can also be designed in such a way that the back of the projection simultaneously forms the part that comes into positive engagement and / or positive engagement with the shower hose.
- the clamping sleeve which forms part of the holding device, can be designed such that when the hose is moved, it is carried along at least in the longitudinal direction of the hose. This allows the coupling to be operated by moving the hose.
- a link guide can be present between the outer sleeve and the clamping sleeve, which alternately aligns the at least one projection of the clamping sleeve either with the inclined surface of the outer sleeve or with the space between the inclined surfaces.
- This link guide can have, for example, a link on the outer sleeve and at least one pin interacting with the link on the clamping sleeve.
- the link guide can be designed such that it extends over a full circumference, that is to say enables the clamping sleeve to be rotated completely.
- the clamping sleeve is thus brought into a position from which it is brought into the blocking position when the hose is pulled back.
- the clamping sleeve is then rotated again so that it then reaches the release position. It would also be conceivable that the clamping sleeve is constantly rotated back and forth due to the link guide.
- Figure 1 schematically partially sectioned the arrangement for carrying out a shower hose through a horizontally extending plate
- Figure 4 shows the position between the hose and the holding device in the release position
- Figure 5 shows the position of the shower hose when retracting
- Figure 6 shows the position of the shower hose in the clamped position
- FIG. 7 shows the perspective view of a clamping sleeve arranged on the shower hose
- FIG. 8 shows the representation of FIG. 7 with the outer sleeve threaded over the clamping sleeve;
- FIG. 9 shows a side view of a second embodiment of the clamping sleeve;
- Figure 10 shows a longitudinal section through the clamping sleeve of Figure 9;
- FIG. 11 shows a cross section through the clamping sleeve of FIG. 9 along line XI-XI;
- Figure 12 shows a second cross section through the clamping sleeve of Figure 9 along line Xll-Xll;
- FIG. 13 shows a third cross section through the clamping sleeve of FIG. 9 along line Xlll-Xlll;
- FIG. 14 shows a perspective view of the clamping sleeve of FIGS. 9 to 13.
- FIG. 1 shows a section through a mounting arrangement according to the invention.
- the mounting arrangement contains a bushing element 1, which is designed for insertion into an opening in a horizontally extending plate.
- the lead-through element 1 contains a part 2 to be arranged above the surface of the plate with an obliquely extending holder 3, into which the conical part 4, for example a hand shower, can be inserted.
- This cone part 4 is held in the holder 3.
- the cone part 4 is formed by a union nut which is attached to the end of a shower hose 5.
- the shower hose 5 passes through the lead-through element 1. It contains a nozzle 6 below its visible part 2, which ends in a support shoulder 7.
- An extension part 8 is inserted into the lead-through part or its socket 6, which is snapped into the inside of the socket 6 with a peripheral edge 9.
- the extension part 8 ends in a shoulder with an external thread 10, see FIG. 2.
- a coupling sleeve 11 of a protective hose 12 is screwed into this external thread 10.
- the protective hose 12 surrounds the shower hose 5.
- the protective hose 12 contains a helical compression spring inside, which is located on the upper end. de the coupling sleeve 11 supports, while it is supported at the lower end on a connecting part of the shower hose 5 with a connection.
- the helical compression spring 13, which is only indicated, tries to straighten the shower hose 5 and thereby pulls it downwards, so that the conical part 4 is drawn into the holder 3.
- an outer sleeve 14 of a holding device is used, which is composed of an upper part 14 a and a lower part 14 b.
- the upper part 14 a contains in its upper area a curved inner wall 15 on which the shower hose bears.
- the lower part 14 b of the outer sleeve contains a plurality of inward projections 16, two of which can be seen in FIG. 2.
- a link guide 17 is arranged, which has a plurality of prongs and recesses between the prongs. A development of the link guide 17 is shown in Figure 3.
- the shape of the backdrop will now be explained with reference to Figure 3.
- the lower backdrop begins, beginning on the right, with an oblique curve 18, which is followed by a U with parallel legs.
- the following leg 19 again runs parallel to the longitudinal direction and ends in a tip 20 from which the curve is repeated.
- the opposite backdrop is similar, but the obliquely extending section merges into an arcuate shape in the section running parallel to the longitudinal direction.
- the peaks 20 of each backdrop lie approximately midway between the peaks 20 of the other backdrop. The two scenes are thus arranged in a gap, so to speak.
- an indicated pin 21 is pushed up and down, it is pushed further by one depression each. So this represents an indexing mechanism.
- FIG. 7 Figures 4 to 6 now show the interaction of the hose 5, a clamping sleeve 22 and the outer sleeve 14 in different stages.
- a clamping sleeve 22 is arranged, which is non-positively fixed to the hose 5. This can best be seen in FIG. 7. If the hose is now pulled out of the lead-through element, the clamping sleeve 22 is pushed upwards until it comes to rest on a shoulder 23 of the outer sleeve. This limits their further movement. The hose 5 can be pulled further out of the bushing element. Since the force with which the clamping sleeve fixes the hose 5 is only slight, the further pulling out of the hose 5 is hardly hindered.
- FIG. 6 In another position, in which the clamping sleeve 22 is rotated somewhat about the longitudinal axis of the hose, the condition shown in FIG. 6 occurs.
- parts of the clamping sleeve 23 lie against the projections 16 mentioned on the inside of the outer sleeve 14, so that these parts are now pressed onto the hose and fix it.
- This therefore represents the blocking position of the holding device, in which the hose cannot be pulled further through the lead-through element.
- FIG. 7 where it is shown how the clamping sleeve 22 is arranged on the outside of the hose 5.
- the clamping sleeve has, approximately centrally between the two pins 21, incisions with resilient tongues 24.
- These resilient tongues 24 are integrally formed on the clamping sleeve 22 at their upper end assigned to the hand shower, but are free in the region of their lower end. They protrude slightly beyond the outer contour of the clamping sleeve 22 in the region of their lower end. Because of the material properties, these tongues 24 are somewhat resilient, so that the deformations that can be seen in the comparison between FIGS. 4 and 6 are easily possible.
- the outer sleeve which is placed on the clamping sleeve 22 in the illustration in FIG. 8, is arranged within the bushing element. It can be seen here that the pins 21 engage in the backdrop on the backdrop guide. An axial movement of the hose 5 therefore leads to the fact that the clamping sleeve is also rotated during its axial displacement.
- the projections 25 formed at the ends of the tongues 24 have a circumferential extent which is approximately the same as the distance between two inwardly directed inclined surfaces 16 of the outer sleeve 14. Depending on the orientation, the projection 25 can thereby be aligned with the spaces between the inclined surfaces 16, see FIG. 5, so that the hose can be pushed through the clamping sleeve.
- the projections 25 of the tongues 24 When twisted, the projections 25 of the tongues 24 then reach an angular position where they are aligned with the inclined surfaces 16. This is shown in FIG. 6. Here, the projections 25 rest against the inclined surfaces 16. The harder the hose is pulled down, the greater the radial loading of the hose towards the inside, and thus the more it is fixed.
- the holding device thus works as follows. First the hose is pulled out, which is possible from all positions. When pulling the hose downwards, caused by the spring 13, the position of FIG. 6 is reached, for example, which holds the Hose. In order to then release the hose again, the user only needs to pull the hose briefly until the clamping sleeve with its pin 21 is rotated by the link guide to such an extent that the position in FIG. 5 is assumed when it is released. Then the hose 5 can be pulled unhindered through the clamping sleeve and thus through the bushing.
- FIGS. 4 to 8 While in the embodiment of FIGS. 4 to 8 the projections 25 are arranged at the ends of one-piece tongues 24, the following figures show a clamping sleeve which is constructed somewhat differently.
- the clamping sleeve 32 consists of two parts, which are constructed identically and can be snapped together.
- the clamping sleeve 32 has on its outside two diametrically arranged pins 21 which have the same function as in the previous embodiment.
- Tongue-like formations 34 are in turn arranged in the incisions, but are integrally connected to the clamping sleeve 32 on both end faces. These slightly inwardly pre-shaped tongues 34 are used exclusively for fixing the clamping sleeve 32 to the hose. This definition is necessary so that the clamping sleeve can be advanced through the link guide.
- the clamping sleeve 32 has in its lower end region, that is to say the end of the hose associated with the installation end, a circumferential groove 35 into which a clip 36 is snapped.
- the clasp 36 extends over approximately half the circumference. It is defined by the groove 35 in the axial direction. It has a projection 37 in the region of its two ends, see FIG. 11, the projection 37 being dimensioned such that it projects beyond the other circumference of the clamping sleeve in the lower region.
- the two projections 37 take on the function of the projections 25 in the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 7.
- the pitch of the coil corresponds to a conventional shower hose. It can be seen from FIGS. 4 to 7 that the shower hose has a type of thread.
- the projections 37 are moved inwards, the ribs 38 come to lie between two windings of the shower hose 5, so that they achieve a form-fitting fixing of the shower hose relative to the clamping sleeve 32.
- FIG. 13 which, similar to FIGS. 11 and 12, shows a cross section through the clamping sleeve 32, shows how the two parts of the clamping sleeve are fastened to one another.
- Each half of a clamping sleeve has a resilient projection 38 which engages with a nose behind an undercut of the other half of the clamping sleeve.
- FIG. 14 again shows in perspective a clamping sleeve 32 of the embodiment according to FIGS. 9 to 13.
