Abstract

Diese Kurbelwellenlager sind für eine Brennkraftmaschine der Hubkolbenbauart mit mehreren Zylindern geeignet, die in einem Gehäuse aus einer Leichtmetall-Legierung angeordnet sind, Lagerbohrungen für Kurbelzapfen einer Kurbelwelle umfassen und beiderseits einer Lagertrennebene erste und zweite Lagerabschnitte mit quer zu einer Längsebene der Kurbelwelle verlaufenden ersten und zweiten Lagerstühlen aufweisen, welche zweiten Lagerstühle Bestandteil einer mit einem Kurbelgehäuse verbundenen Kurbelwellenlagerbrücke sind.
Zur Optimierung der Kurbelwellenlager sind zumindest ein Teil von benachbarten Bohrungshälften der Lagerbohrungen besitzenden zweiten Lagerstühlen der Kurbelwellenlagerbrücke durch Verbindungselemente abgestützt, und die Lagerstühle der Brennkraftmaschine münden unter Zwischenschaltung örtlicher Erweiterungen in Längswände der Kurbelwellenlagerbrücke ein.
