- Each segment has, for example, a triangular-shaped radial section and, once folded down, the segments are circumferentially adjacent and form a discontinuous crown at the end of the skirt of the interior element of the push button.
- the interlocking by force of the two elements of the push button is stabilized by an internal peripheral rib carried by the external element.
- the internal element has an axial outlet duct and evacuation channels are provided between the two elements and through the external element. These channels can be materialized by imprints made on a conical surface of the interior element. In the case of a sprayer, said channels can be shaped so as to define a swirl chamber allowing spraying. In addition, a needle guided in translation axial in the pump body cooperates with the internal orifice of said outlet conduit to define a discharge valve.
- Elastic means constituted by a spring urge the needle and the push-button away from the pump body, axially, so that when the push-button is not actuated, it is under the stress of this spring in a position said released, where said generally annular stop of the push button is in contact with said shoulder or annular projection defined on the external wall of the pump body.
- the needle extends beyond the open tubular neck of the pump body, which is engaged in the push button. It comprises at least one lateral longitudinal channel cooperating with the end of said open tubular portion of the pump body to define an intake valve.
- the aforementioned metering chamber is thus delimited between the internal wall of the internal element of the push button, the wall of said needle and the end of said tubular neck.
- the intake valve closes when one begins to press said push-button, which isolates the metering chamber from said tank.

- Elastic means constituted here by a helical spring 41 mounted in the pump body, urge the needle 35 and the push button 21 (by means of said closed discharge valve) away from the pump body, axially.
- the needle 35 extends beyond the tubular neck 26 of the pump body, which is also engaged in the push button. It comprises at least one lateral longitudinal channel 45 cooperating with the end of said tubular neck to define an intake valve 47.
- This intake valve is open when the distributor is not actuated; it closes as soon as you start pressing the push button, which isolates the dosing chamber. The latter is thus delimited between the internal wall of the internal element 23 of the push-button, the wall of the needle valve 35 and the end of said tubular neck 26 of the pump body.
- Evacuation channels are provided between the two elements of the push button and through the external element. More particularly, these evacuation channels are constituted by ribs 49 (or grooves) formed at the end of the internal element 35, communicating with said axial outlet duct 37, and by an imprint 51 formed on the internal frustoconical surface of the external element. The imprint forms with the external wall of the interior element a swirl chamber. A spray duct 53 extends through the external element between the swirl chamber and a lateral recess 54 formed on the external surface of the external element.
- stop means 57 are arranged between the outer wall of the pump body 17 and the inside of said push button 21 to define, under the stress of the elastic means constituted by the spring 41, a so-called released position (see Figure 2), predetermined, of the push button relative to the pump body.
- These stop means 57 comprise segments 60 articulated at the end of a skirt 61 of the internal element 23 of the push button.
- Figure 1 there is shown the shape of this inner element and more particularly the position of .segments 60 when said inner element is in the unstressed state.
- the external wall of the pump body (and more particularly the tubular neck 26 thereof) is provided with an annular shoulder 65 (or a simple annular rib). As it appears in FIG.
- the internal element 23 of the push-button in the non-constrained state, can easily be engaged on the tubular neck 26 of the pump body after fitting the needle 35 and by compressing the spring 41 until the segments are located between the shoulder 65 and the flange 68 of the part forming the plug 69 of said pump body.
- the segments 60 are folded radially inwards by the interlocking of the external element 25 of the push button on the internal element 23.
- all of the segments 60 constitute a generally annular stop capable of cooperate with said shoulder 65 to define the so-called "released" position of the push button relative to the pump body, under the bias of the spring 41.
- the external element comprises an internal peripheral rib 71 projecting in the vicinity of its open end and ensuring the locking of the inner element fitted into the outer element after folding of said segments.
- This is the situation illustrated in Figure 2. It is understood that the mounting of the element outside 25 of the push button completes and stabilizes the assembly of all the elements of the pump. It is also clear that all the elements can be assembled with respect to each other, without indexing. With the exception of the spring, all the elements can be made of molded plastic.
- the shape of the inner element 23 of the push button in the unstressed state constitutes a part which is easy to demold axially since it does not have any interior undercut (see FIG. 1).
- Each segment 60 is connected to said skirt of the interior element by a thinned portion 73, coming from molding, forming a hinge.
- Each segment 60 has a triangular-shaped radial section and, when all the segments have been folded radially inwards, they are circumferentially adjacent and form a discontinuous ring at the end of said skirt 61, suitable for cooperating with the shoulder 65 defined on the pump body.
- the end of the needle 35 and the bottom of the cavity of the interior element 23 of the push button have complementary shapes so that the needle is correctly guided in abutment against the orifice of the outlet conduit 37.
- the pump body comprises a guide duct 74 communicating with a suction tube 75 and the needle 35 comprises a substantially cylindrical portion sliding in this guide duct which is provided with a bottom shoulder 77.
- the needle 35 also includes a shoulder 78 and the spring is mounted with initial precompression between these two shoulders.
- the end of the tubular neck 26 of the pump body has an annular groove making the peripheral lip 31 more flexible in tight contact with the internal, cylindrical wall of the internal element of the push button, the longitudinal channel or channels 45 communicate with the dosing chamber by their ends, when the push-button is in the so-called released position.
- the part of the pump body forming the plug 69 is forcibly engaged in the mouth 19 of the tank.
- This mouth is surmounted by a thinned ferrule into which the skirt engages external, cylindrical, push button.
- the presence of a vent is not necessary if the tank is only partially filled.
