Abstract

Es wird eine Druckgussform (10) zur Herstellung von Geschirrteilen (12), wie Bechern, Tassen, oder dergleichen beschrieben. Die Druckgussform (10) weist ein Formoberteil (14), ein Formunterteil (16) und mindestens zwei Formseitenteile (18) auf. Die Formteile (14, 16, 18) bestimmen mit ihren Formkonturen (24, 26, 30) im zugefahrenen Zustand einen dem Geschirrteil (12) entsprechenden Formhohlraum (56). Das Formunterteil (16), das ein Kernteil der Druckgussform (10) bildet, ist an seiner Abdichtfläche (34) mit einer Ringdichtung (38) versehen. Desgleichen kann das Formoberteil (14) an seiner Abdichtfläche (42) mit einer zweiten Ringdichtung (46) versehen sein, so dass ein direktes Aufeinanderpressen der Formteile (14, 16, 18) - wie es bislang üblich ist - vermieden wird.
