Definitions

  • the invention relates to a projectile fuze according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a projectile fuse is used for example as a mortar fuse.
  • Realized is such electrical safety overflight in such a way that by means of an external programmer, the time of flight of the projectile is programmed into the detonator electronics ie fed. After the launch of the projectile, a timer / counter is started, which counts up to the programmed flight time minus a fixed time value and then charges an electrical ignition circuit of the ignition electronics. This charging of the ignition circuit is in the msec range, so that the projectile fuze is ready to fire in time in the specified target.
  • the securing device is designed such that after a very short in relation to the total trajectory very short time period, the mechanical interruption of the ignition chain is canceled, i. the so-called pre-pipe safety is comparatively small.
  • the igniter comprises a rotor which is held mechanically by a protruding nose of the rotor in its security. After the period of time, the nose is blasted off by a pyrotechnic force element from the rotor and the rotor is pushed into its release position, in which over-ignition of the ignition chain can take place.
  • a detonator for a hand grenade is known in which the ignition chain is also released by a timed pyrotechnic force element after expiry of a specified period of over ignition.
  • a firing chain with a puncture needle and a puncture detonator in a rotor of a detonator is from the US 3451340 known.
  • the invention is in the knowledge of these circumstances, the task of creating a projectile fuse of the type mentioned, which has a programmable electrical and mechanical safety overflight and a comparatively large Vorrohrpiping.
  • the safety device is blocked by a pyrotechnic force element as long as, ie held in the security until the programmed or, if necessary, manually set flight time - minus a fixed time value (safety overflight) is reached. If the set flight time minus the set time value is reached, the ignition circuit for the power element is charged and the safety device by Igniting the force element unlocked. The safety device then goes into focus, ie the interruption of the ignition chain is canceled and the ignition chain is then inline. Now, the actual ignition circuit of the projectile fuze according to the invention is charged, so that the detonator in the intended destination is ready in time to fire.
  • a fixed time value safety overflight
  • FIG. 1 illustrates a trajectory 10 of a conventional projectile fuse having projectile, wherein the arrow V denotes the Vorrohrschreib, the arrow U the overflight safety and the arrow T the flight time or target distance. With h the ignition height of the projectile fuze is designated.
  • FIG. 2 clarified in one of the FIG. 1 Similarly, the trajectory 10 of a projectile fuse having a projectile according to the invention, wherein the arrow V again denotes the mechanical Vorrohrschreib and the arrow T, the flight time or target distance. With H is in FIG. 2 denotes the ignition height of the projectile fuze.
  • the arrow Ü also denotes in FIG. 2 the safety overpass, which is, however, an electrical / mechanical safety overflight, wherein the point S denotes the point of focus of the safety device of the projectile fuze.
  • FIG. 3 shows in a longitudinal sectional view of an embodiment of the projectile fuze 12 according to the invention, which has a pyrotechnic force element 14 which is interconnected with an ignition electronics, and blocks a safety device 16 until the flight time T minus a predetermined time value .DELTA.t (see FIG. 2 ) is reached. Once that is the case, an ignition circuit of the projectile fuze 12 is electrically charged and the safety device 16 is unlocked by igniting the pyrotechnic force element 14 in the armed position. In FIG. 3 the security of the security device is shown.
  • the securing device 16 has a rotor 18 with a firing pin 20 and with a puncture detonator 22.
  • the firing pin 20 and the piercing detonator 22 are aligned with each other axially and are spaced from each other.
  • the projectile fuze 12 has an electric detonator 24, which is interconnected with the ignition electronics.
  • the projectile fuze 12 also has an booster charge 26 associated with the electric detonator 24.
  • the rotor 18 is provided between the electric detonator 24 and the booster charge 26.
  • FIG. 4 clarified in one of the FIG. 3 a similar longitudinal sectional view of another embodiment of the projectile fuse 12 according to the invention, wherein like details with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 3 are designated, so that it is unnecessary, in conjunction with FIG. 4 to describe all these details again.
