Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich den oberen Abschluss (44) einer Schwelle, welche Schwelle aus einem metallenen oder aus Kunststoff bestehenden Wetterschenkel (12) und einem damit im Gebrauchszustand auf dessen Türseite verrasteten, eine thermische Trennung bildenden Hohlprofil (14) besteht, wobei der Abschluss als Arretierungsleiste (44) im Gebrauchszustand auf einer Türanschlagseite des Hohlprofils (14) und zumindest teilweise auf einem türseitigen Ende des Wetterschenkels (12) auflegbar und mittels mindestens einer Rastvorrichtung (50,52) mit dem Hohlprofil (14) verbindbar ist, dadurch, gekennzeichnet dass die Rastvorrichtung entweder aus einem Raststeg (50) besteht, der an dem der Türanschlagseite abgewandten Ende angeordnet ist und in eine im Wetterschenkel (12) oder dem Hohlprofil (14) oder zwischen dem Wetterschenkel (12) und dem Hohlprofil (14) angeordnete Rastnut (54) einrastbar ist, oder aus einer Rasteinrichtung (52) besteht, die im Gebrauchszustand bei der Türanschlagswand des Hohlprofils (14) angeordnet ist, oder aus dem Raststeg (50) und der Rasteinrichtung (52) besteht, sowie durch einen Wandabschnitt (56), der im Gebrauchszustand einen Teil der Türanschlagswand bildet, und durch mindestens eine Hohlkammer (62) zwischen den Auflagepunkten.
