Abstract
L'invention concerne, de manière générale, un système combiné de transmission de couple pour un véhicule. Le système selon l'invention comprend une démultiplication planétaire dans un carter rotatif, ainsi qu'une transmission dans un carter stationnaire. La démultiplication planétaire contient un arbre d'entrée placé de manière à être relié à un couple fourni par un moteur. La transmission présente un arbre d'entrée qui est relié à un arbre de sortie de la démultiplication planétaire. Selon certains modes de réalisation de l'invention, la transmission est une boîte planétaire, constituée par exemple d'un jeu Ravigneaux, d'un jeu Simpson, d'une multitude de démultiplications simples ou d'un système à six vitesses de Lepelletier. La transmission comprend une multitude de rapports de démultiplication et la démultiplication planétaire est conçue de manière à accroître la multitude de rapports de démultiplication par ajout d'au moins un premier rapport de démultiplication à la multitude de rapports existants. Selon certains modes de réalisation de l'invention, la démultiplication planétaire est conçue de manière à doubler le nombre de rapports de démultiplication.
