Abstract

Das einteilig aus Gussstahl erstellte Rostelement (1) weist zwei parallele, durch eine Übergangszone (Ü) verbundene Kühlkanäle (K1,K2) auf. Von den Aussenwänden (6,7) und einer Zwischenwand (5) ragen ins Kanalinnere turbulenzerzeugende Umlenkorgane (8), die einen mäanderförmigen Strömungsweg definieren und die Bildung stagnierender Luftblasen im Innern des Rostelementes verhindern. Der Durchflussquerschnitt der Übergangszone (Ü) ist vorzugsweise grösser als der Querschnitt jedes einzelnen Kühlkanals (K1,K2).
Zur periodischen Reinigung der Verbrennungsrückstände, die sich im Bereich der Lufteinlassöffnungen ansammeln, sind an einer Aussenfläche jedes Rostelementes Freiräumer (12) angeformt, die mit den am darunter liegenden Rostelement angeformten Lufteinlassöffnungen (11) zusammenwirken. Diese Freiräumer sind vorzugsweise zwei- oder mehrteilig ausgebildet und weisen beispielsweise zwei im gegenseitigen Abstand angeordnete Abstreifnasen (12a) auf, deren Gesamtquerschnitt, abgesehen vom erforderlichen Bewegungsspiel, kleiner als der Querschnitt der Lufteinlassöffnung (11) ist.
