Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen elektrischen Schutzschaltermit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1.
  • Ein derartiger Schutzschalter ist beispielsweise aus der EP 0 973 239 A2 zu entnehmen. Derartige Schutzschalter dienen allgemein zum Schutz der Leitungen eines Laststromkreises sowie eines in diesem schaltbar angeordneten Verbrauchers gegen Kurzschluss oder Überlast. Hierzu wird der Laststromkreis an die Außenleiter einer Versorgungs- oder Betriebsspannung über den Schutzschalter angeschlossen, der den Lastoder Steuerstromkreis im Fehlerfall abschaltet. Über das von außen bedienbare Bedienelement ist nach einem Auslösen des Schutzschalters im Fehlerfall ein manuelles Zurücksetzen des Schutzschalters ermöglicht, so dass der Laststromkreis wieder an die Außenleiter der Versorgungs- oder Betriebsspannung angeschlossen ist. Das manuell betätigbare Bedienelement ist üblicherweise eine Schaltwippe oder auch ein Taster.
  • Ein einpoliger Schutzschalter ist zum Beispiel aus der DE 101 20 189 A1 bekannt, der auf eine Hutschiene aufrastbar ist und einen manuell betätigbaren Betätigungshebel aufweist.
  • In der US 6,292,717 B1 ist ein Energieinformationssystem mit einer berührungssensitiven Tastatur zur Nutzung mit einem Schutzschalter offenbart.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Schutzschalter mit verbessertem Bedienkomfort anzugeben.
  • Die Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung gelöst durch einen elektrischen Schutzschalter mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1. Danach ist vorgesehen, dass das Bedienelement als ein berührungssensitives Bedientableau ausgebildet ist, welches in das Gehäuse des Schutzschalters integriert ist. Das auch als "Touchpanel" oder "Touchscreen" bezeichnete Bedientableau ist somit Bestandteil des Schutzschalters. Unter berührungssensitives Bedientableau wird eine Bedieneinheit verstanden, bei der auf einem Tastschirm oder Sensorbildschirm ein Schaltelement elektronisch angezeigt wird, wobei bei einem Berühren des Schirms im Bereich des dargestellten Schaltelements ein Bedienbefehl generiert wird. Das Bedientableau weist hierbei keine beweglichen Schaltelement-Teile auf.
  • Durch die Verwendung eines derartigen Touchpanels ist zum einen der Bedienkomfort erhöht, da beispielsweise zum Zurücksetzen des Schutzschalters nach einem Auslösen bei einem Fehlerfall lediglich ein Berühren des Touchpanels erforderlich ist. Zugleich ist durch die Integration des Bedientableaus in den Schutzschalter die Möglichkeit eines erhöhten Funktionsumfangs eröffnet. Insbesondere besteht die Möglichkeit, über das Bedientableau ein mehrfunktionales Bedienmenü bereit zu stellen, so dass insgesamt das als Bedientableau ausgebildete Bedienelement multifunktional ausgebildet sein kann. Schließlich ist im Vergleich zu einem mechanischen Kippschalter oder Taster die mechanische Konstruktion einfacher und die mechanische Störanfälligkeit geringer.
  • Gemäß einer zweckdienlichen Weiterbildung ist das Bedientableau zugleich auch als Anzeigeelement zur Anzeige einer aktuellen Statusinformation des Schutzschalters ausgebildet. Insbesondere wird über das Bedientableau daher angezeigt, ob der Schutzschalter im Nachgang zu einem Fehlerfall ausgelöst hat und sich in der "Aus"Position befindet oder ob er sich in der normalen Betriebsposition "Ein" befindet. Durch die Multifunktionalität des auch als Anzeigeelement fungierenden Bedientableaus können auch hier die unterschiedlichsten Informationen angezeigt oder über ein Menü abrufbar angezeigt werden.
  • Um eine einfache Zugänglichkeit zu erreichen, ist das Bedientableau gemäß einer zweckdienlichen Ausgestaltung in die Frontseite des Gehäuses integriert und bildet insbesondere einen Großteil der Frontseite, um eine möglichst große Fläche für das Bedientableau zur Verfügung zu haben.
  • Bevorzugt ist das Bedientableau mit einer Steuereinrichtung verbunden, welche zur Abgabe eines Steuersignals ausgebildet ist, wobei das Steuersignal eine Betätigung des Schaltelements in Abhängigkeit der Bedienung des Bedientableaus nach sich zieht. Die Steuereinrichtung setzt daher die über das Touchpanel eingegebenen Bedienbefehle in entsprechende Steuerbefehle oder Steuersignale um. Gleichzeitig steuert die Steuereinrichtung auch die am Bedientableau angezeigten Informationen, wie beispielsweise Statusinformationen über den Zustand des Schutzschalters. Bevorzugt ist dabei die Steuereinrichtung auch mit einem Speicher versehen, welcher informationen enthält, beispielsweise über bestehende Konfigurationszustände des Schutzschalters oder auch über die Historie, beispielsweise Informationen, zu welchem Zeitpunkt der Schutzschalter ausgelöst hat, etc. Diese Informationen sind bevorzugt auslesbar oder am Bedientableau anzeigbar und können somit auch im Nachgang zu einem Fehlerfall für eine Fehlerdiagnose herangezogen werden, beispielsweise zur Auswertung, wann der Fehler aufgetreten ist.
  • Gemäß einer zweckdienlichen Weiterbildung ist der Schutzschalter weiterhin über das Bedientableau konfigurierbar. Es werden beispielsweise über das Bedientableau Auslöseschwellwerte eingestellt.
  • Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausgestaltung ist das Schaltelement ein elektronisches Schaltelement, wie intelligente Leistungshalbleiter oder Halbleiter-Schaltelemente wie FET- oder MOS-Bauelemente. Das Bedientableau ist hierbei über die Steuereinrichtung mit dem Schaltelement zu dessen Betätigung verbunden. Die Integration des Touchpanels in einen elektronischen Schutzschalter mit einem derartigen elektronischen Schaltelement ist von besonderem Vorteil, da für die Betätigung des Schaltelements elektrische Steuersignale ausreichen, die in einfacher Weise von der Steuereinrichtung direkt erzeugt werden.
  • Alternativ zu dieser Ausbildung mit dem elektronischen Schaltelement weist das Schaltelement ein mechanisch betätigbares Schaltglied auf, wobei zur Betätigung des Schaltglieds ein Aktuator vorgesehen ist, der mit Hilfe des Steuersignals aktiviert wird. Ein derartiger Aktuator ist beispielsweise ein elektromotorischer Antrieb, mit dem das mechanische Schaltglied in die normale Betriebsposition "Ein" bringbar ist. Alternativ zu einem elektromotorischen Antrieb kann auch ein magnetisch wirkender Aktuator vorgesehen sein.
  • Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden im Folgenden anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen jeweils in schematischen und stark vereinfachten Darstellungen:

  • In den Figuren sind gleich wirkende Teile mit den gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen.
  • Der in den Figuren lediglich stark vereinfachte skizzierte Schutzschalter 2 ist in einem Laststromkreis 4 geschalten. Im Laststromkreis 4 sind eine Spannungsquelle 6 zur Bereitstellung einer Betriebsspannung U sowie eine Last 8, beispielsweise eine Maschine in einer Produktionsstraße, ein Motor oder ein sonstiger elektrischer Verbraucher, angeordnet. Die Last 8 ist über eine Leitung 10 mit der Betriebsspannung verbunden. Im Ausführungsbeispiel ist lediglich eine einpolige Verbindung der Last 8 mit der Spannungsquelle 6 dargestellt. Prinzipiell kann die Last 8 auch mehrpolig mit der Spannungsquelle 6 verbunden sein. Bei einer mehrpoligen Versorgung wird üblicherweise jeder Strang der Leitung 10 über jeweils einen Schutzschalter 2 oder eine Schutzschaltereinrichtung überwacht.
  • Der Schutzschalter 2 schützt die Leitung 10 sowie die Last 8 gegen einen Überlaststrom oder gegen einen Kurzschlussstrom.
  • Zur Ausübung des Überstromschutzes weist der Schutzschalter eine hier im Einzelnen nicht näher dargestellte Überstromschutzschaltung auf.
  • Wird der vorgegebene Nennstrom überschritten, so trennt ein Schaltelement 12 des Schutzschalters die Last 8 vom Laststromkreis 4. Im Falle des in Fig. 1 dargestellten Schutzschalters 2 ist das Schaltelement als ein elektronisches Schaltelement ausgebildet, beispielsweise als ein Leistungshalbleiter, ein FET- oder MOS-Halbleiterbauteil oder dergleichen. Im Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 2 umfasst das Schaltelement 12 ein mechanisch betätigbares Schaltglied 14. Das Schaltglied 14 ist als ein thermisch, thermisch-magnetischer oder ähnlicher Schutzschalter ausgebildet. Auch ein reiner Schaltkontakt ist möglich, wenn der Strom erfasst wird und über die Steuereinrichtung 22 ein Auslösesignal zum Betätigen des Schaltglieds 14 erzeugt wird
  • Der Schutzschalter 2 weist ein in den Figuren gestrichelt dargestelltes Gehäuse 16 auf. In dessen Frontseite 18 ist ein berührungssensitives Bedientableau 20, allgemein auch als Touchpanel bezeichnet, integriert. Das Bedientableau 20 ist mit einer Steuereinrichtung 22 verbunden. Diese ist wiederum im Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 mit dem elektronischen Schaltelement 12 und im Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 2 mit einem Aktuator 24 verbunden. Der Aktuator 24 wirkt über ein Stellglied 26 auf das Schaltglied 14 ein.
  • Im Betrieb werden von der Steuereinrichtung 22 an das Bedientableau 20 Statussignale S1 übermittelt. In der Gegenrichtung werden von dem Bedientableau 20 an die Steuereinrichtung 22 Kontroll- oder Steuersignale C1 übermittelt. In Abhängigkeit der Kontrollsignal C1 gibt die Steuereinrichtung 22 Kontrollsignale C2 an das elektronische Schaltelement 12 bzw. an den Aktuator 24 weiter. Diese übermitteln wiederum Statussignale S2 an die Steuereinrichtung 22.
  • Im Betrieb überwacht der Schutzschalter 2 den Laststromkreis 8 auf Überstrom. Der aktuelle Status des Schaltelements 12 wird als Statussignal S2 an die Steuereinrichtung 22 und von dieser als Statussignal S1 weiter an das Bedientableau 20 übermittelt, welches zugleich auch als Anzeigeelement ausgebildet ist, und den aktuellen Status anzeigt.
  • Wird ein Überstrom erfasst, so löst der Schutzschalter 2 aus und das Schaltelement 12 trennt die Last 8 vom Laststromkreis 4, wie dies beispielsweise in Fig. 2 dargestellt ist. Der veränderte Status wird auf dem Bedientableau 20 dargestellt. Sobald der den Überstrom verursachende Fehler wieder behoben ist, muss das Schaltelement 12 wieder in die übliche Betriebsposition gebracht werden. Dies geschieht durch ein manuelles Betätigen, indem eine berührungssensitive Fläche des Bedientableaus 20 durch ein Berühren betätigt und das Kontrollsignal C1 veranlasst wird. Dieses wird in der Steuereinrichtung 22 zum Kontrollsignal C2 umgesetzt, so dass das Schalten des Schaltelements 12 in die Ausgangsposition veranlasst wird. Im Falle des elektronischen Schalteiements 12 wird das Schalten unmittelbar durch das Kontrollsignal C2 hervorgerufen, welches also ein Steuersignal zur direkten Ansteuerung des elektronischen Bauelements ist. Im Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 2 wird durch das Kontrollsignal C2 der Aktuator 24 und über diesen mittelbar das Stellglied 26 angesteuert.
  • Das Bedientableau 20 überdeckt bevorzugt die gesamte oder nahezu die gesamte Fläche der Frontseite 18, um eine möglichst große Bedien- und Anzeigefläche bereit zu stellen. Bei einer mechanischen oder auch elektronischen Kopplung mehrerer Schutzschalter 2, die beispielsweise auf einer Hutschiene nebeneinander angeordnet sind und die jeweils zum Schalten einer Ader einer mehrpoligen Leitung vorgesehen sind, ist bevorzugt lediglich ein Bedientableau für die mehreren Schutzschalter 2 vorgesehen. Die jeweiligen Schaltelemente 12 der mehreren Schutzschalter 2 werden gemeinsam über das Bedientableau 20 betätigt. Auch werden die Statusinformationen auf dem Bedientableau 20 gemeinsam angezeigt.
  • Durch die Integration des Bedientableaus 20 in das Gehäuse 16 in Verbindung mit der Steuereinrichtung 22 ist ein deutlicher Mehrwert für den Nutzer geschaffen. Neben den herkömmlichen mechanischen Bedienelementen wie z. B. Schaltwippen bietet nämlich die Verwendung des Bedientableaus 20 die Möglichkeit der Integration mehrerer Funktionen. Hervorzuheben ist hierbei insbesondere die Anzeigefunktionalität, die den Nutzer insbesondere über den aktuellen Status des Schutzschalters 2 informiert. Von besonderem Vorteil ist die Variabilität des Bedientableaus 20. Prinzipiell ist über die Steuereinrichtung 20 nämlich eine weitgehend freie Steuerbarkeit des Bedientableaus 22 gegeben. Es besteht somit die Möglichkeit, sowohl vielschichtige Informationen anzuzeigen als auch vielschichtige Bedieneingaben zu ermöglichen. So wird beispielsweise bei dem elektronischen Schutzschalter 2 gemäß Fig. 2 über das Bedientableau 20 eine Konfiguration und Einstellmöglichkeit des Schutzschalters 2 vorgesehen. Über das Bedientableau 20 lassen sich daher vorzugsweise die Nennströme auswählen, ab denen der Schutzschalter 2 auslösen soll. In bevorzugten weiteren Varianten werden zudem Informationen über den Zustand des Schutzschalters 2 zumindest temporär abgespeichert, um somit beispielsweise zu Diagnosezwecken abgerufen werden zu können. Beispielsweise umfasst die Steuereinrichtung 22 einen Speicher, in dem Informationen über den Zeitpunkt des Auslösens des Schutzschalters 2 hinterlegt sind.
  • Insgesamt ist daher mit der Integration des Bedientableaus 20 in das Gehäuse 16 ein hoher Bedienkomfort mit hohem Nutzwert erreicht.
  • Die Integration des Bedientableaus 20 wurde zu Fig. 1 und 2 beispielhaft anhand eines Überstromschutzschalters erläutert. In gleicher Weise lässt sich das Bedientableau 20 auch in andere Arten von Schutzschaltern, beispielsweise Fehlerstromschutzschalter, integrieren.

Claims (8)

  1. Elektrischer Schutzschalter (2), insbesondere Überstromschutzschalter, zum Unterbrechen eines Stromkreises (4), mit einem Gehäuse (16), in dessen Innenraum ein Auslösemechanismus mit einem Schaltelement (12) zum Trennen einer Versorgungsleitung (10) angeordnet ist, wobei zum manuellen Schalten des Schaltelements (12), nämlich zum Zurücksetzen des Schaltelements (12) nach einem Auslösen, ein Bedienelement vorgesehen ist, wobei der Schutzschalter (2) zur Anordnung auf einer Hutschiene und als einpoliger Schutzschalter (2) ausgebildet ist und bei dem im Betrieb lediglich eine Leitungsader am Gehäuse (16) angeschlossen ist, welche über das Schaltelement (12) trennbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in das Gehäuse (16), in dem auch das Schaltelement (12) angeordnet ist, ein berührungssensitives Bedientableau (20) als das Bedienelement integriert ist, über das das Schaltelement manuell schaltbar ist.
  2. Schutzschalter (2) nach Anspruch 1, bei dem das Bedientableau (20) in einer Frontseite (18) des Gehäuses (16) integriert ist und weiterhin die Versorgungsleitung (10) am Gehäuse (16) angeschlossen ist.
  3. Schutzschalter (2) nach Anspruch 2, bei dem das Bedientableau (20) einen Größteil der Frontseite (18) bildet.
  4. Schutzschalter (2) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei dem das Bedientableau (20) zugleich als Anzeigeelement zur Anzeige einer aktuellen Statusinformation ausgebildet ist.
  5. Schutzschalter (2) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei dem das Bedientableau (20) mit einer Steuereinrichtung (22) verbunden ist, die zur Abgabe eines Steuersignals (C2) zur Betätigung des Schaltelements (12) in Abhängigkeit der Bedienung des Bedientableaus (20) ausgebildet ist.
  6. Schutzschalter (2) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, der über das Bedientableau (20) konfigurierbar ist.
  7. Schutzschalter (2) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei dem das Schaltelement (12) ein elektronisches Schaltelement ist und mit dem Bedientableau (20) zur Übermittlung eines Steuersignal (C1,C2) verbunden ist.
  8. Schutzschalter (2) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, bei dem das Schaltelement (2) ein mechanisch betätigbares Schaltglied (14) aufweist und zur Betätigung des Schaltglieds (14) ein Aktuator (24) vorgesehen ist, der über das Bedientableau (10) ansteuerbar ist.
