Definitions

  • Coupling device for attaching an accessory or a luggage receiving unit in the front area of a bicycle
  • the invention relates to a coupling device for attaching an accessory, such as travel computer, navigation device, lighting, radio, player, card holder, or a luggage receiving unit in the front region of a bicycle with a handlebar-mounted receiving portion for attaching the accessory or the baggage receiving unit.
  • an accessory such as travel computer, navigation device, lighting, radio, player, card holder, or a luggage receiving unit in the front region of a bicycle with a handlebar-mounted receiving portion for attaching the accessory or the baggage receiving unit.
  • Such a coupling device is shown in EP 1 065 140 A2.
  • a receiving portion is arranged on the upper side of a handlebar clamping clamp with which the handlebar is clamped to the projecting part of the handlebar stem.
  • An accessory in the form of a display unit may in this case be designed in different directions with respect to the longitudinal direction of the bicycle on the receiving section. be straightened and is then tightened by a screw in a threaded receptacle of the handlebar clamp. To insert the screw, a cavity is provided in the housing of the display unit, in which the screw must be inserted and then tightened in the threaded hole. The handling is not easy.
  • a luggage receiving unit is coupled to a pivotable coupling part, which is fixed to a bicycle handlebar laterally a connection point between the handlebar and stem in different pivot positions adjustable by means of clamps.
  • Serrated portions are formed on the coupling part in addition to the clamps, which is brought into engagement with a respective toothing on a T-shaped further part of the coupling device, which is placed on the tube of the handlebar in a semi-shell-like manner and connected to the support of the T-part. which is also formed shell-shaped, is attached by means of another clamp on the projecting portion of the handlebar stem.
