Abstract

Bei einem Kaminofen zum Verbrennen von Festbrennstoffen mit zumindest einem Verbrennungsraum, welcher von Kaminofenwänden eingefasst ist, wobei in zumindest einer Kaminofenwand eine Tür mit Sichtscheibe angeordnet ist und wobei im Verbrennungsraum eine Brennkammer mit Seitenwänden und einem Boden aufgenommen ist, ist vorgesehen, dass die Brennkammer zumindest abschnittsweise unterhalb der Ebene der unteren Kante der Tür angeordnet ist und in den Seitenwänden der Brennkammer Durchbrüche angeordnet sind, durch welche Verbrennungsluft in das Innere der Brennkammer führbar ist.
In diesem Kaminofen ist ein möglichst vollständiges emissionsarmes Verbrennen der eingebrachten Festbrennstoffe ermöglicht.
