Abstract

Eine Dampfturbine enthält Leitschaufeln und anschließende Laufschaufeln, an denen Flüssigkeit aus dem Dampfstrom kondensiert und als Tröpfchen abgeschieden werden. Dabei entstehen kleine Primärtropfen und größere Sekundärtropfen. Gemäß der Erfindung werden die Sekundärtropfen am Ort der Entstehung in unmittelbarer Nähe dazu zerkleinert, durch die dann besser beschleunigbaren entstandenen kleineren Tröpfchen wird die durch den Tropfenschlag verursachte Erosion verhindert oder zumindest stark vermindert. Die Sekundärtropfen werden auf mechanische Weise, insbesondere durch Ultraschall, zerkleinert.
