Definitions
- the invention relates to a fabric, in particular to a wire mesh with intersecting and woven in a known binding warp and weft wires.
- the fabric in question is generally referred to in the industry as wire mesh even if only a certain proportion of the warp and / or weft threads consists of metal wires.
- the remainder may consist of non-metallic materials, e.g. made of plastic or of a textile material.
- the largest proportion of warp and weft wires made of metallic materials depend on the intended use.
- the fabric may also be thermally treated, for example sintered, to join the crossing points of the warp and weft wires to stabilize the fabric.
- the fabric can be used as a filter fabric, wherein a filter block can consist of several layers of fabric.
- the fabric can be used as architectural fabric or as a shielding (e.g., in noise control measures).
- it can also be used for screens, whereby these screens can consist of several layers and a supporting fabric.
- the invention has for its object to specifically stabilize a tissue of the type described in more detail at certain points and in particular in the lateral areas to prevent disintegration or alteration of the bond, and that beyond the fabric is formed so that formed from moldings can be.
- the stated object is achieved by deviating from the binding type, formed from at least two merged warp wires stabilization strands.
- the binding is now changed in the stabilizer strands in such a way that the warp threads are additionally looped around so that they can no longer fall out of the bandage or slip out.
- the course of the stabilization strands is such that a molded part can be produced therefrom.
- At least one stabilizing strand is provided on each longitudinal side of the wire mesh.
- a blank is suitable, for example, to produce tubes whose lengths could be described as endless, as could be made of such a tube significantly shorter cylinder.
- the stabilizing strands extend partially over the longitudinal sides, and then extend obliquely to the longitudinal edges and form a wedge or a spike mutatis mutandis. From such a blank could then be formed a conical molding or a funnel. It would then be possible in a preferred embodiment, that extending obliquely to the edge
- Regions of the stabilization strands jump at least by one pair of warp wires. From a section of the fabric, a blank can be formed by cuts along the stabilizing strands.
- the stabilization strands run according to the edges of the bend of a molded part to be produced from a fabric section.
- the wires of the stabilization strands are formed of a metal with respect to the remaining wires of higher strength.
- the fabric is woven in a smooth or body weave.
- edges of the fabric are folded or molded with a plastic and possibly welded.
- Welding method is preferably the resistance welding method, the plasma welding method or a method using a solder into consideration.
- the fabric according to the invention is produced by combining two weaving processes.
- the materials from which the wires are made may be different.
- the warp wires consists of strands. It is also possible that the warp, weft and stabilizing strands forming wires have round, square or oval cross sections, the cross sections of the warp, weft and stabilizing strands forming wires being the same or different.
- the warp, the weft and the stabilization strands forming wires consist of monofilament, multifilament or mono- and / or multifilament wires or spun-fiber wire.
- the warp and / or the weft wires consist of a continuous change of metal wires and plastic threads.
- the warp and / or the weft wires consist of a continuous change of mono- and multifilament wires or threads.
- the stabilization strands may be the same or similar to a leno fabric.
- weft wires consist of metal with a coating.
- all warp and / or weft wires are provided with a coating.
- This coating consists of a material with a lower melting point compared with the warp and weft wires, preferably a plastic.
- the fabric could consist of several layers with the same or different fabrics.
- the fabric is used for the production of moldings, in particular for the production of hollow bodies.
- FIG. 1 shows the tissue according to the invention in the form of a wire mesh in a first embodiment
- FIG. 2 shows the fabric according to FIG. 1 in an end view
- FIG. 3 shows the tissue according to the invention in the form of a wire mesh in a second embodiment
- FIG. 4 shows the fabric according to FIG. 3 in an end view
- Figure 5 shows the fabric according to the invention in the form of a wire mesh in a third embodiment
- FIG. 6 shows the fabric according to FIG. 5 in an end view.
- the fabric 1 according to FIG. 1 consists, in a manner known per se, of the warp wires 2 and the weft wires 3 extending transversely thereto.
- the fabric 1 according to FIG. 1 consists of two panels, and exclusively the weft wires 3 run between these two panels. In contrast to the illustrated embodiment, the fabric 1 could consist of more than two fields. Before processing, separation takes place in the area where exclusively the weft wires 3 available.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 show, the two fields formed by the intersecting warp wires 2 and weft wires 3 are bounded laterally by stabilizing strands 4, 5.
- These stabilizing strands 4, 5 are formed from two warp wires, which are wrapped around the weft threads 3 in the manner of a leno fabric.
- the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 3 to 6 differ from the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in that the stabilizing strands 4, 5 run obliquely over a certain region to the longitudinal edges of the fabric section 1.
- the shaped body formed from this fabric section 1, not shown, runs conically. Due to the course of the stabilization strands 4, 5, the side edges of the blank are predetermined.
- the course of the stabilizing strands 4, 5 depends on the shape of the molding to be produced therefrom. In general, the stabilizing strands 4, 5 run exactly like the side edges of the development of the shaped body.
- the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. It is essential that the tissue or the tissue section 1 is provided with stabilizing strands 4, 5 which prevent disintegration or a change in the binding of the tissue 1.
