Abstract

Circuit de refroidissement comportant une pluralité de sorties (2) d'agent de refroidissement qui, en fonctionnement normal du circuit de refroidissement (1), soumettent un produit de laminage (3) traversant le circuit de refroidissement à l'action d'un agent de refroidissement (4). Les sorties (2) d'agent de refroidissement sont alimentées en agent de refroidissement (4) par des conduits de dérivation (5) et par une conduite principale (6) commune aux conduits de dérivation (5). Dans les conduits de dérivation (5) sont montées des vannes (7) à ouverture et fermeture indépendantes, de manière à pouvoir établir et interrompre l'alimentation des sorties (2) d'agent de refroidissement en agent de refroidissement (4) par conduit de dérivation. Un dispositif d'automatisation (8) du circuit de refroidissement (1), en fonctionnement normal du circuit de refroidissement (1), ouvre et ferme les vannes (7) à des moments d'ouverture et de fermeture spécifiques aux vannes, afin de soumettre le produit de laminage (3) à l'action de l'agent de refroidissement (4) conformément à un écoulement nominal de l'agent de refroidissement. Cette installation d'automatisation tient compte d'une caractéristique spécifique à chaque vanne lors de la détermination des moments d'ouverture et de fermeture spécifiques aux vannes. En fonctionnement de calibrage du circuit de refroidissement (1), la caractéristique spécifique à chaque vanne est déterminée, au moins pour certaines vannes (7), par ouverture et fermeture de la vanne (7) correspondante et par saisie de l'écoulement (Q) dans le temps ainsi provoqué de l'agent de refroidissement, au moyen d'un dispositif de mesure (12) monté dans la conduite principale (6).
