- the roller battery is not maintained on the support but it is the complete roller battery replaced by a new or serviced roller battery. This is done by first providing a new or maintained reel battery to the ground under the post, then lifting the rope from the existing reel battery, whereupon the reel battery disassembles and lowered by the winch to the ground, the new or serviced reel battery lifted and reassembled and finally the rope can be put back on the roller battery.
