Definitions

  • the invention relates to a flexible transport bag which is formed by sewing at least one fabric web, wherein the fabric web comprises an unattenuated region, as well as warp threads and weft threads and has a weakened region along at least one of the fabric web edges.
  • the invention further relates to a method for producing a reinforced fabric edge of a fabric web.
  • the EP 1 514 962 A2 describes a method for producing a belt with warp threads and at least one weft thread, wherein a method step comprises the shrinkage of the warp threads in the middle region of the fabric.
  • the EP 0 627 513 A1 further describes a fabric for reinforcing or reinforcing fabrics of weft and warp yarns which form open spaces with each other.
  • a backing fabric connects to an edge region in which the weft threads and / or the warp threads are reinforced.
  • the purpose of this device is the mechanical consolidation of the resulting tissue.
  • the above-mentioned step formation is not recognized in this document as a problem to be solved.
  • edge regions formed in this way have a strength which is clearly below that of a sulzer edge.
  • handling of freely hanging weft threads is problematic in practice.
  • the weakened area Due to the fact that warp threads of reduced thickness are provided in the weakened area, the weakened area is significantly thinner than the unattenuated area. However, there are no fringes, as in the in AT 010526 described device, but the coherent tissue is retained. The weakened area is then partially or wholly bent over the unattenuated area and is secured thereto by means of a hot melt adhesive, an adhesive tape, a coating, or a welding process such as heat welding, laser welding, or ultrasonic welding.
  • the weakened area can be completely or only partially bent over to the non-weakened area. If the entire weakened area is bent over to the unattenuated area, the resulting fabric edge is particularly robust. It forms, as with the described known method, when rolling up the fabric web a step, which is much thinner, however. Such step formation can be avoided by bending the weakened area only partially to the unattenuated area or, as discussed below Fig. 5 described, the weakened area is bent over on itself. In this case, no level is formed.
  • the weakened area has a width of 4 cm during weaving.
  • the weakened area is centrally separated by a continuous longitudinal cut, creating at each edge a weakened edge area about 2 cm wide, which is completely turned over.
  • the longitudinal section can also be made at any other point of the weakened area, for example, to obtain asymmetric selvedges, without departing from the scope of the invention.
  • Typical dimensions of the reinforced fabric edge are in the range of 1 to 3 cm, with preferred widths of the fabric edges being about 1.5 cm to about 2.5 cm.
  • the fabric web has a coating on at least one side, preferably on the inside of the transport bag covering the entire surface of the fabric web, including the reinforced fabric edge.
  • this coating in the interior of the transport bag so that the pressure of the filled-in material does not release the coating from the fabric.
  • a coating of the outside of the transport bag lends itself to protect the fabric from external influences.
  • the coating can be made of a plastic, or in particular consist of the material of the fabric web to allow disposal of the transport bag together with the coating.
  • the coating may be adapted to the particular application, for example, to have resistance to water, acids, or antistatic.
  • the invention provides that the mentioned coating may have a projection over the edge of the fabric web to protect in particular the folded or bent edge region.
  • the transport bag is produced by sewing the fabric webs, wherein the seam is formed in the unattenuated area outside of the reinforced fabric edges. According to the invention it is provided in particular that the seam is located about 17 mm to 25 mm from the outer edge of the fabric edge.
  • the inventively provided warp threads or weft threads are usually extruded or cut from films plastic tapes, which have a large width in cross-section in relation to their thickness, and which are weaving processable.
  • these bands are made of polypropylene, polyester, or polyethylene.
  • the warp threads used typically have a thickness of 50 ⁇ m to 200 ⁇ m, in particular 75 ⁇ m to 125 ⁇ m in the unattenuated area and about 25 ⁇ m to 75 ⁇ m, in particular 40 ⁇ m to 60 ⁇ m in the weakened area.
  • the thickness of the warp threads in the weakened region is about 50% of the thickness of the warp threads in the unattenuated region.
  • the width of the warp threads is typically between 1.5 mm and 4 mm.
  • the warp threads with a reduced thickness in the weakened area are wider than the warp threads in the unattenuated area.
  • the density of the warp threads in the edge region can be, for example, 4 to 8 warp threads per centimeter, in particular 5 warp threads per centimeter.
  • This method is used to produce the fabric webs of the transport bag described, but can also be used for the production of fabric webs with reinforced fabric edge for any other purpose.
  • the method according to the invention comprises securing the weakened region to the fabric web by means of hot melt, heat welding, ultrasonic welding or adhesive tape.
  • the longitudinal separation of the weakened area may be centered or at any other location to create symmetrical or asymmetric fabric edges.
  • the weakening of the weakened area can be done in part or entirely on the unattenuated area, as a result of which the rolled-up fabric web has a more or less large step.
  • a coating can be applied, which can cover the entire surface of the fabric web including the reinforced fabric edge, and may protrude in particular in the form of a protrusion over the edge of the fabric web.
  • the reinforced fabric edge has a width of 1 cm to 3 cm, preferably a width of 1.5 cm to 2.5 cm is used. This means in particular that the weakened area before cutting can typically have a width of 2 cm to 6 cm.
  • the warp threads used are usually made of polypropylene, polyester or polyethylene. They are typically about 50% thinner in the weakened region than in the non-weakened region, preferably using the thicknesses mentioned above.
  • the inventive method further provides that in the weakened area, the warp threads are made wider with reduced thickness than in the unattenuated Area. For example, 4 to 8, in particular 5 warp threads are provided with reduced thickness per centimeter in the weakened area.
  • the method according to the invention likewise comprises a transport bag, which is produced by the described method.
  • Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a erfindunoniaen transport bag 1 in a perspective view, the figure is purely schematic, and other features of the transport bag, such as straps or inserts are not shown for ease of illustration.
  • the transport bag 1 comprises a plurality of fabric webs 2, which are sewn together at their edges with a seam 9.
  • the fabric web 2 has an unattenuated area 10 and a reinforced fabric edge 5.
  • the seam 9, in favor of a higher strength of the connection, outside the reinforced fabric edge 5 in the unattenuated area 10 extends.
  • embodiments are also possible where the seam runs in the reinforced fabric edge.
  • the in Fig. 1 shown transport bag is characterized by the sewing of four fabric webs.
  • the present invention is not limited thereto and also includes embodiments comprising any number of fabric webs.
  • Fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the fabric web, as it is formed immediately after its preparation on a loom.
  • the representation is purely schematic and the size ratios are heavily oversubscribed.
  • the tubular fabric web 2 has an unattenuated area 10 and a weakened area 6, which results from the use of thinner warp threads.
  • the fabric web 2 is severed longitudinally along a cutting line 11 to obtain a flat web of fabric.
  • this longitudinal section along the section line 11 is centered in the weakened area 6.
  • the section extends at a different location within the weakened area 6, or in which the fabric webs are cut at several points.
  • the longitudinal section must run within the weakened region 6 in order to obtain the advantages of the device according to the invention and the method according to the invention described above.
  • Fig. 3 shows a perspective view of the fabric web 2.
  • the fabric web 2 comprises an unattenuated area 10 and, on the unattenuated area bent weakened area 6.
  • the bent portion forms the reinforced fabric edge 5.
  • the fabric web 2 comprises warp threads 3 and weft threads 4, which the known Form weave pattern.
  • the specific embodiment of the weave pattern is not relevant to the present invention.
  • the warp threads of reduced thickness 7 are used instead of the warp threads 3. For this reason, the weakened region 6 has a significantly reduced thickness, as in FIG Fig. 3 is apparent.
  • Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of a fabric web 2 according to the invention in cross section along a weft thread 4.
  • the fabric web 2 comprises Warp yarns 3, weft yarns 4 and warp yarns of reduced thickness 7.
  • the fabric web 2 may be further subdivided into the unclouded region 10, the weakened region 6 and the reinforced fabric edge 5 which is formed by folding the weakened region 6 onto the non-weakened region 10. It should be noted that in the embodiment of Fig. 4 the weakened area 6 is completely turned over to the unattenuated area 10.
  • the fabric web 2 further comprises a coating 8, which is attached to the top of the fabric web 2. Furthermore, the embodiment of the invention has a projection 12 of the coating 8.
  • the weakened region 6 may be attached to the non-weakened region 10 by means of an adhesive, an adhesive film with the coating, or a welding process.
  • Fig. 5 shows a further inventive embodiment of a fabric web 2 in cross-section along a weft thread 4, which has warp threads 3, weft threads 4, and warp threads of reduced thickness 7.
  • the fabric web 2 comprises an unattenuated region 10 and a weakened region 6, by means of which the reinforced fabric edge 5 is formed by bending over it.
  • the bending of the weakened area is not on the unattenuated area 10. Rather, the weakened area 6 is bent centrally on itself. This has the consequence that the reinforced fabric edge is only slightly thicker than the non-weakened region 10, whereby after application of the coating 8 virtually no step formation occurs.
  • the coating 8 is formed without projection on the fabric edge 5.
  • FIGS. 6 to 8 show in detail how the reinforced fabric edge 5 is formed, on the basis of the cross section of an embodiment according to the invention the fabric web 2 along a weft thread 4.
  • a fabric web 2 in Fig. 6 which has warp threads 3
  • weft threads 4 and warp threads of reduced thickness 7 in a weakened area 6 is obtained by bending the weakened area 6 and fixing it on the weakened area 10 in FIG Fig. 7
  • the State in Fig. 8 reached, in which the reinforced fabric edge 5 is formed, which is formed by turning the weakened area 6 on the unattenuated area 10.
  • the fabric web 2 can be provided on at least one of its sides with a coating, as in 4 and FIG. 5 was shown.
  • the present invention is not limited to the embodiments of fabric sheets for transport sacks shown in the figures, but also includes fabric sheets for any other purposes, as long as they have the described reinforced fabric edge. Also, the validity of the invention is not limited to the discussed dimensions of the warp threads or wefts used. Furthermore, the invention is not limited to stitched transport bags, but also includes structures formed of fabric webs, which are connected to each other in any other way, as long as the described reinforced fabric edge is used.
