Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method and a data processing system for the automated detection and / or processing of information from a plurality of existing data sources in a computer network.
- Methods, systems and devices for the automated determination and / or processing of information from a plurality of existing data sources in a computer network are known in the prior art in various configurations and for different applications, for example from DE 103 16 298 A1, DE 10 2005 002 619 A, 1 of DE 10 2007 042 093 A1, DE 10 2007 042 080 Aloder of WO 2008/039868 A2.
- Corresponding methods, systems and / or devices are used in particular within the context of so-called portals in communication networks such as the Internet.
- a portal within the meaning of the present invention is an application system, which is characterized in particular by the integration of applications, processes and / or services.
- a portal advantageously provides the user with different functions or functionalities, such as personalization, security, navigation, user management and / or similar functions or functionalities.
- portals are usually set up and / or trained to search and / or present information coordinate. Characteristic of portals are, in particular, the linking and the data exchange between heterogeneous applications via a portal platform which, in particular, provides centralized access to personalized contents and needs-based access to applications, processes and / or services.
- portals on the Internet offer different solutions for the automated determination and / or processing of information. These include in particular new forms of search engines, evaluation and / or comparison portals. Information is usually systematized and plausible results presented, but often in such a large selection and number that a further search to assess the information can hardly be avoided. The previously known information procurement is therefore still very expensive.
- a disadvantage of the portals customary in the marketplace in the past is, in particular, the fact that comparisons with or in a rigid structure generally take place for determining and processing information, with only specific information items as things, such as products, travel, merchants and / or the like, be compared or comparable. A universal dynamic comparison is not possible.
- portals and / or portal applications have various disadvantages and / or limitations for the user, in particular with regard to handling and / or ease of use, information presentation options, interaction options and / or user individualization. Moreover, the overall structure and / or development of information is not systematically identified as a whole.
- the present invention is based on the object to improve the automated detection and / or processing of information from a variety of existing data sources in a computer network, in particular with regard to handling and / or ease of use,
- the invention proposes a method and a data processing system for the automated determination and / or preparation of information from a multiplicity of existing data sources in a computer network, wherein information is or are recorded in objects structured in modules the modules of the objects is assigned at least one property with respect to the information (property assignment), a comparison of at least two objects (object comparison) by comparing at least one of the modules of a first object of the at least two objects with at least one of the modules at least a further object of the at least two objects takes place and the result of the object comparison is reproduced as information.
- the invention is based on the finding that universal and individualizable object comparisons, which make it possible to refine the information, can be implemented, in particular, advantageously by virtue of the inventive acquisition of information in modularly structured objects with property assignment and the object comparison that takes place according to the invention at the module level.
- Information within the meaning of the present invention includes, among others, services such as collating information from different sources, comparative comparisons, systematizing and application-related representations of information, compaction of information so that the user no longer needs to see the original sources, and showing the quality and action relevance of information.
- the expense associated with obtaining information can be reduced and the acquisition of information can be optimized, so that the handling and / or operating convenience, the information presentation and / or the user individualization are preferably improved within the framework of a portal and / or portal application.
- a universally applicable module-based information method is thus advantageously provided, in particular, that restructures the contents of all formats and shows the interactions between the individual data elements.
- topics, events, persons, products and / or services can thus advantageously be ordered, evaluated, and / or interactively compared.
- point of interest organizations and individuals, professionals and non-professionals, companies and / or customers engage in a structured dialogue, objective, argumentative, involved, but not without so-called "fun or experience factor".
- Comparisons made according to the invention advantageously make it possible for the user to gain insight.
- phenomena are made visible which would not be recognizable in an otherwise required individual case analysis or which would elude a country-specific view.
- An object in the sense of the present invention object thereby advantageously represents an individual and identifiable copy of things, persons or concepts of the real world or the world of imagination, problems and / or decision situations. Fig.
- an object may be in the sense of the present invention, preferably an individual such as a politician, an actress, an entrepreneur, a show participant or the like, a real object such as a book, a car or any other product , an abstract concept on topics such as sustainability, democracy, crime, tax evasion or the like, an event such as a political summit, an Olympiad, a European football championship, a Eurovision television program or the like, a relationship between at least two objects, such as size ratios of Buildings, a result as a result of political reform, the privatization of the railway, the result of a study, or the like.
- an object is simultaneously both a starting point and a networking point for all relevant information.
- the functionalities, in particular modules and / or applications (applications) serve in accordance with the invention to generate knowledge about a specific topic from the distributed information.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized by an assignment of objective and / or subjective properties in the context of property assignment.
- the criteria and / or characteristics of objective properties advantageously describe technical, physical or similar features of an object. Using the example of the object "university", an objective property would be, for example, the founding year, the tuition fee or the semester contribution. These properties are objectively verifiable or measurable.
- the subjective properties are used, the user (user) is advantageously given subjective interpretations of the object Properties and / or criteria are predetermined, for example the quality of care or the learning atmosphere
- the properties, criteria and / or characteristics are moreover advantageously modifiable, preferably user-specific.
- a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that in the context of the property allocation evaluation criteria are recorded multilingual or directly at a later date, preferably such that an international comparability of information is possible without having to speak or read the other national language.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that information in the modules in grouped units are detected or can be detected.
- the resulting advantage is that the generally numerous properties or criteria are combined or structured into or in logical groups.
- the module "objective criteria" of the object University includes, for example, the group "General Information", criteria such as the type of institution, the date of foundation or the number of students. Further groups such as, for example, university sports, city information, university ranking, Nobel laureates or similar groups advantageously contain the respectively assigned criteria.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the delivery of results from all modules in the same form can be displayed.
- FIG. 7 shows an exemplary embodiment of a delivery of results according to the invention.
- the object comparison is performed by comparing at least one group of the modules and / or at least one unit of the modules, wherein preferably identical groups and / or units of the modules are compared with each other.
- the property assignment takes place taking account of geographical classification parameters, semantic classification parameters, sociodemographic classification parameters and / or classification parameters for the administration of rights of use of information.
- the object comparison is performed filtered, preferably taking into account geographical parameters, sociodemographic parameters, object-related parameters, semantic parameters and / or parameters based on expert opinions. This advantageously results in the possibility of a differentiated and / or individual consideration of the respective objects. If the user (user), for example, only want to consider the opinions of women living in France in comparison, the user can advantageously set the appropriate filter accordingly.
- the result of the object comparison itself is detected as information.
- the result of the object comparison according to the invention advantageously generates a new information product that is provided with an identification code.
- Foreign internet pages can access the information product via a link or the code, for example, to virtually the comparison results View or retrieve a later time without the query and / or filter setting would have to be reentered.
- the result of the object comparison is reproduced as information, preferably in graphical form, particularly preferably with at least one information relating to the timing and / or context of the information of the object comparison.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized by a grouping of objects for object comparison.
- At least one module preferably at least one information module, at least one multimedia module, at least one module of objective criteria related to technical features and / or physical features, at least one module of subjective criteria, at least one discussion module, at least one idea module, at least one chronology module , at least one relation module and / or at least one strategy and / or tactic module available.
