Claims (5)

  1. Installation de transport de personnes avec au moins une voie le long de laquelle plusieurs véhicules (3) ou groupes de véhicules sont aptes à circuler à l'aide de plusieurs câbles transporteurs sans fin (1, 2), étant précisé qu'il est prévu au moins deux câbles transporteurs successifs (1, 2) à chacun desquels est associé au moins un entraînement, moyennant quoi ils sont aptes à être entraînés indépendamment l'un de l'autre, et auxquels les véhicules (3) ou groupes de véhicules sont aptes à être accouplés à l'aide de dispositifs de serrage (31 à 35), caractérisée en ce que les deux câbles transporteurs successifs (1, 2), ou plus, sont disposés à la suite l'un de l'autre dans le sens longitudinal de l'installation et au moins approximativement sur une ligne, en ce que les véhicules (3) ou groupes de véhicules sont pourvus d'au moins deux dispositifs de serrage (31 à 35) espacés l'un de l'autre dans le sens longitudinal de l'installation, et en ce qu'il est prévu un dispositif de commande (4) grâce auquel, lors du passage d'un véhicule (3) d'un premier câble transporteur (1) au câble transporteur suivant (2), au moins le premier dispositif de serrage (31) qui se trouve dans le sens de marche (A) est désaccouplé du premier câble transporteur (1) puis est accouplé au câble suivant (2), et le ou les autres dispositifs de serrage (32 à 35) sont désaccouplés du premier câble transporteur (1) puis sont accouplés au câble transporteur suivant (2) et qu'à le passage d'un véhicule (3) du premier câble transporteur (1) au câble transporteur suivant (2) en même temps au moins un dispositif de serrage (32 à 35) est accouplé au premier câble transporteur (1) et au moins un dispositif de serrage (31) est accouplé au câble transporteur suivant (2).
  2. Installation selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le dispositif de commande est formé par un rail de commande (4) grâce auquel, lors du déplacement du véhicule (3), les dispositifs de serrage (31 à 35) qui se trouvent sur celui-ci sont amenés dans leur position ouverte, moyennant quoi le véhicule (3) est désaccouplé d'un premier câble transporteur (1) et est ensuite accouplé au câble transporteur suivant (2).
  3. Installation selon la revendication 2, caractérisée en ce que le rail de commande (4) est pourvu, à ses deux extrémités, de rampes de commande (41, 42) de préférence cunéiformes.
  4. Installation selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que les deux rampes de commande (41, 42) sont pivotantes et sont réglables en hauteur à l'aide de dispositifs de réglage (43, 44).
  5. Installation selon l'une des revendications 2 à 4, caractérisée en ce qu'à chacun des dispositifs de serrage (31 à 35) est associé un galet de commande (71) qui est monté sur un levier de commande (7) et qui roule sur le rail de commande (4), moyennant quoi les dispositifs de serrage (31 à 35) sont amenés dans leur position ouverte.
