  • Such a floor cleaning device is in the DE 10 2007 029 258 A1 described.
  • a floor surface can be cleaned by applying cleaning liquid from the first container to the floor surface and cleaning it by means of the cleaning tool.
  • the cleaning liquid can be sucked together with the dissolved dirt under the action of the suction unit from the bottom surface and transferred to the second container for contaminated liquid.
  • a user can usually grasp the stem at a handle arranged at its free end.
  • the WO 2005/041737 A2 describes a mains operated electromotive vacuum cleaner with a cleaning head to which a handle is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis.
  • the vacuum cleaner has a battery-operated spray device to wet a carpet to increase the cleaning effect with a liquid.
  • a mist eliminator is provided to prevent aspirated cleaning fluid from entering a stalked dust collection bin.
  • Object of the present invention is to develop a generic floor cleaning device so that it has an increased ease of use. This object is achieved by a floor cleaning device having the features of claim 1.
  • the electric motor can be supplied with energy from the at least one rechargeable battery.
  • an otherwise required power cable can be omitted, with which the floor cleaning device to supply the electric motor with energy would be connected to a power grid.
  • a user therefore does not need to connect a cable to the power supply, so that the floor cleaning device can be put into operation faster than a conventional floor cleaning device.
  • the floor cleaning device according to the invention grants the user a greater freedom of movement when cleaning, because it is no longer limited by the limited length of the power cable and because the power cable also no longer be in his way and can interfere in this way.

It can be provided in particular that the stem in the operating position encloses an angle with a vertical, so that the user can grasp the stem more easily.
  • the at least one container held above the pivot axis on the handle can produce a force acting on the handle first tilting moment in its operating position.
  • the user In the absence of the at least one battery, the user must counteract this first tilting moment on the stem in order to keep the stem in the operating position.
  • the at least one battery Relative to the longitudinal direction of the floor cleaning device, in the operating position of the handle, the at least one battery is now arranged in front of the pivot axis and the container behind the pivot axis or vice versa.
  • the at least one battery generates a second tilting moment, which is opposite to the first tilting moment generated by the container.
  • This second tilting moment acts on the handle by means of the holding part, which effectively forms a lever arm.
  • the user must thereby counteract the stem only a smaller than the first tilting moment generated by the container to hold the stem in the operating position. This considerably increases the ease of use of the floor cleaning appliance.
  • the at least one battery is held by means of the at least one holding part at a cleaning head facing the end of the stem.
  • the at least one battery can generate a second tilting moment counter to the first tilting moment produced by the container over a large range of a swivel angle which the handle can assume relative to the cleaning head.
  • the at least one holding part forms a contact element which rests on the cleaning head in a rest position of the handle.
  • the weight of the at least one battery can be derived in this way in the rest position of the stem on the cleaning head. This reduces the load on the at least one holding part. • the container assembly 34 If the handle 20 is pivoted about the pivot axis 18 by a user during start-up of the floor cleaning device 10 and transferred to the operating position, the container assembly 34, based on the longitudinal direction of the floor cleaning device 10, passes behind the pivot axis 18. This results in that in particular the container assembly 34 including the cleaning liquid 37 received therein and the dirty liquid 39 generates a first tilting moment acting on the handle 20.
  • a user In a conventional floor cleaning device, a user must counteract this first tilting moment on the handle 22 to prevent the handle 20 from pivoting further about the pivot axis 18 in the direction of the floor surface. This can be distracting to the user when operating a conventional floor cleaning device.
  • the batteries 56 generate a second tilting moment.
  • the second tilting moment is transmitted via the holding part 46 to the associated handle housing lower part 30 and thus to the stem 20.
  • the holding member 46 thus forms a handle 20 acting on the handle arm.
  • the second tilting moment generated by means of the batteries 56 is directed counter to the first tilting moment generated in particular by the container assembly 34, because the batteries 56 are arranged in front of the pivot axis 18 in the operating position of the handle 20.
  • the effect of the second tilting moment is noticeable by the fact that the load on the handle 22 drops, which the user has to apply in order to hold the handle 20 in the operating position. This is perceived by the user when working with the floor cleaning device 10 as pleasant, so that this is characterized by a high ease of use.
  • the load on the handle 22 even disappears completely when the first overturning moment and the second overturning moment just equalize.
  • the batteries 56 are held by means of the holding part 46 on the cleaning head 12 facing the lower end of the stem 20, from which the holding part 46 projects approximately at right angles.
  • the batteries are therefore, in relation to the longitudinal direction of the floor cleaning device 10, arranged even before the pivot axis 18 when the handle 20 is aligned horizontally, ie in extension of the cleaning head 12.
  • the batteries 56 over a very large angle range different swivel angle generated between the cleaning head 12 and the stem 20 in its operating position, the second tilting moment.
  • the handle 20 relative to the cleaning head 12 can take a variety of different with respect to the pivot angle different operating positions in which the second tilting moment decreasing effect on the load on the handle 22 in favor of ease of use.
  • the first section 58 and the third section 70 form a common contact element 84 on their underside facing the cleaning head 12.
  • the contact element 84 can in the rest position of the handle 20 on a cover 86 of the cleaning head 12 on and in particular rest on it ( FIGS. 1 to 3 ). As a result, in the rest position of the handle 20, the weight of the batteries 56 can be discharged to the cleaning head 12 and the load on the holding part 46 can be reduced.
