Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a glass strip for a window, with a base body which can be fastened to a window sash or to a window frame and has an open space, wherein a recess (16) is formed in the free surface, which is adapted to receive a fastening element of a holding device for window decorations is set up, see eg DE 202007014393 U1 ,
  • Glazing beads are commonly used on windows to fix the window pane in the window sash or window frame.
  • the glass strip is connected to the window sash.
  • the attachment takes place after positioning the window pane.
  • the attachment directly in the window frame takes place in windows which have no window sash, for example on window facades in areas where no pivoting windows are provided.
  • window decorations are provided with window decorations.
  • a window decoration is understood in the following both an aesthetic embellishment of the appearance of the window and a darkening device, such as a blind, a blind or a pleated.
  • a darkening device such as a blind, a blind or a pleated.
  • Such window decorations are usually not used when building a property or when building a window, but if necessary retrofitted on site in a property.
  • various types of fastening have been established in the prior art. All types of fastening has in common that the window decoration must be fixed by means of a holding device on the window or adjacent to the window on a wall surface.
  • Affixed to a wall window decorations have the significant disadvantage that they require the one hand, the introduction of holes and fasteners such as dowels, pins, or adhesive materials to the wall or in the wall.
  • the disadvantage of this is in particular that the window decoration is fixed in place and does not pivot when the window is to be opened pivoting. If the window decoration is mounted on a side of the window to which it is pivotally opened, the window decoration must be removed each time before opening the window.
  • Another major disadvantage shows up when removing the window decoration. In this case, the damage necessarily added to the wall will remain in the form of holes and / or adhesive residues, which at best can be corrected by means of repair work.
  • the associated deterioration of the building fabric is highly undesirable, especially for rental properties and in particular for old buildings.
  • the variant is known to attach the holding device with a hook on the window sash, that the holding device is hung by a hook on the window, and this hook is tightened by means of a clamping mechanism. In this case, a portion of the hook between a sash and the adjacent window frame is pushed. Most windows also have a circumferential rubber seal between the sash and the window frame in this area. The section of the hook deforms them. This leads on the one hand to an impairment the sealing effect and on the other hand, when mounted over long periods of damage to the rubber seal.
  • the invention was based on the object of providing an improved possibility of attaching window decorations to windows, which as far as possible mitigates the disadvantages found in the prior art.
  • the invention solves its underlying object in a glass strip of the type mentioned by a closure device which is disposed within the recess and back and forth between a closed position and an open position, wherein the closure device is adapted to, in the closed position, the recess of Closing closure substantially completely and to receive in the open position the fastening element of the holding device.
  • the invention makes use of the fact that the closure of the recess by means of the closure device in the absence of a holding device ensures a substantially undisturbed overall aesthetic impression.
  • This makes it possible by preparing a glass strip according to the invention already in the delivery state of the window to prepare the possibility for a later attachment of a window decoration by means of a corresponding holding device.
  • This has the advantage that the user can, if necessary, non-invasively bring the holding device into contact with the glass strip by means of the fastening element by moving the closure device out of the closed position. The risk of incorrect operation can be largely eliminated, thereby avoiding the risk of damage to the window.
  • the holding device at a time at which the window decoration is no longer needed is removable from the recess. By repositioning the closure device in the In the closed position, the undisturbed aesthetic overall impression is restored without the need for any manual repair work (filling, etc.).
  • the invention preferably has a cover plate for closing the recess in the closed position, which is adapted to evade with a force from outside the recess from the closed position.
  • the glass strip according to the invention has a restoring element, which is mechanically coupled to the cover plate and which is then adapted to apply a restoring force when the force is applied to the cover plate, which counteracts the evasive movement of the cover plate.
  • a restoring element which is mechanically coupled to the cover plate and which is then adapted to apply a restoring force when the force is applied to the cover plate, which counteracts the evasive movement of the cover plate.
  • the restoring element is preferably designed as a mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic spring element, or as a mechanical unit of lever arms and at least one counterweight, which is deflected out of a rest position in evading the cover plate or moving the closure device from the closed position and then due to Gravity always strives to return to the resting position.
  • the evasive movement of the plate is preferably carried out translationally. Alternatively, the evasive movement is rotational.
  • the cover plate has a cover surface, which in the closed position of the closure device flush with the free surface of the body completes.
  • the flush closure also reduces the risk that the user or objects will inadvertently get caught on the closure device or be inadvertently introduced into the recess.
  • the top surface of the cover plate and the free surface of the glass strip are preferably coplanar, at least in the case where the free surface is substantially planar. If the free surface of the main body of the glass strip has a curved course, the shape of the top surface of the cover plate is preferably adapted to the shape of the free surface.
  • a projection is formed within the recess, which is adapted to the rear grip by a corresponding locking means of the fastening element of the holding device.
  • the latching means is moved during the mounting of the holding device in the recess of the glazing bar and preferably arrives in an end position of the fastening element within the recess in the rear grip with the projection.
  • the movement of the fastening element of the holding device into the recess is preferably carried out, so that a high repeatability of reaching the end position of the locking means is ensured with respect to the projection.
  • the projection is preferably formed as a ring, web or step on the inside of the glass strip, preferably in a cavity into which the recess opens.
  • the recess has a section with a rotationally asymmetrical cross section and is set up to receive a correspondingly rotationally asymmetrical section of the fastening element of the holding device.
  • the rotationally asymmetric cross section is polygonal, particularly preferably rectangular.

  • the recess has a rotationally symmetrical cross-section and is provided with a threaded portion for receiving a fastening element of the holding device with a corresponding threaded portion.
  • the cover plate which is guided within the threaded portion, deviates from the closed position when the fastening element of the holding device is screwed in.
  • the glass strip has a peripheral seal within the recess.
  • the seal is preferably arranged in an edge region of the recess in such a way that the closure device is pressed sealingly against the seal in the closed position by means of a force application by the restoring element.
  • the sealing force is chosen such that the closure device and the recess closes fluid-tight, in particular splash-proof.
  • Such a seal also allows the attachment of the glass strip according to the invention to a window such that the glass strip is mounted externally with respect to a building wall. This makes it possible again to attach the window decoration on the outside of the building.
  • this has the particular advantage that the heat insulation is improved because the shield already acts before solar radiation has entered through the window pane into the space to be screened. In addition, moisture is prevented from entering the interior of the glazing bead, which also contributes to a longevity of the window as a whole.
  • a bevel is formed on an inner peripheral edge of the recess, and on the cover plate is preferably formed a corresponding chamfer. This causes the cover plate is automatically centered when reaching the closed position by sliding the chamfer surfaces to each other. The interaction of this necessary restoring force and the chamfer angle is to be made by the expert according to the structural requirements and space conditions.
