Abstract

The storage has releasably connected storage segments limited by cladding (3) and opposite non-pressurized-stable or open end faces (4) for receiving permissible filling pressure. The segments are set together at the end faces, where outer end faces of the segments are terminated by filling pressure receiving constructions. The cladding of the segments is formed as a sandwich component that is made of material that is located between inner and outer walls. A thin-walled non-pressurized-stable tight container is provided on the cladding and made of plastic material.

In particular, the invention can be advantageously used for heat storage with liquid storage medium and in particular for the provision of hot water and heating energy. The store is used in particular in combination with large solar systems and heat pumps or combined heat and power plants for heat supply of buildings application.

The state of the art is in detail in the utility model DE 20 2010 001 010 as well as the DE 20 201 102 744.2 described.

A disadvantage of conventional round steel containers is the poor use of space, especially if several containers are to be set up side by side, and the increased cost of materials and higher heat losses compared to a single memory with the same total volume.

Eine ähnliche Konstruktion wird in der japanischern Schrift JP 2003090626 (A ) - PRESSURIZED HOT WATER STORAGE TANK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME von 2003 beschrieben. A ) - Rectangular pressure-bearing water tank and its preparing method.
Cubic steel storage tanks that can take a (slightly) elevated pressure:
  • In the Chinese script CN 2702235 (Y ), 2005, a cubic container is described, which is divided by parallel partitions in sub-containers. As a result, a good separation of the water layers of different temperature is achieved. A similar construction is in the Japanese script JP 2003090626 (A ) - PRESSURIZED HOT WATER STORAGE TANK AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME of 2003. A third font describing a similar approach: CN 1587860 (A ) - Rectangular pressure-bearing water tank and its preparing method.

In der Schrift JP 1090950 (A ) - HOT WATER STORAGE TANK sind zur Druckaufnahme Verbindungsstangen zwischen den flachen Behälterwänden beschrieben. In Scripture JP 1090950 (A ) - HOT WATER STORAGE TANK are described for pressure receptacle connecting rods between the flat container walls.

Finite element calculations (FEM) show that such constructions are associated with a high use of material and therefore, and because of the increased manufacturing effort, no economy compared to cylindrical storage tanks is achieved.

In various plastic containers, a certain pressure stability is achieved by designing the container wall as a sandwich. A pressure-resistant store with flat walls stabilized by sandwich constructions is described in: JP 19960344420 19961118 respectively. JP 10147397 (A A disadvantage of this design is that in the realization of larger storage volumes from several individual containers total insulation of the container is not possible, and by the individual insulation of the container unnecessary costs and space requirements arise ,

In the scriptures DE 10 2008 027 121 A1 . DE 10 2007 003 077 B4 such as DE 101 29 632 C1 Pressure-resistant containers composed of individual segments are described in which the individual segments are each directly connected to each other at flat, open end sides, so that the pressure has to be absorbed only across the wall transversely to the container axis and to end bodies.

In the DE 10 2008 027 121 A1 it is a heat-insulated fuel tank for vehicles. The pressure stabilization of the wall of the segments is achieved by intermediate elements in which plates are provided, which are provided with holes, so that the stored medium can circulate. A disadvantage with respect to rational series production and assembly is that separate parts are required for this purpose (standard segments and pressure-receiving intermediate elements). Also, in stores with thermal stratification, such generally metallic plates adversely affect the stratification which is dissipated by thermal conduction.

In the DE 10 2007 003 077 B4 it is a housing for a pressure chamber in particular for pressurized air. The pressure stability of the shell walls of the segments is achieved on the one hand by the cylindrical shape, but especially by mounted on the jacket support rings. Disadvantageous in With regard to a rational mass production, the support rings are welded individually to the shell. Another disadvantage is the necessary sealing over the entire circumference, which is achieved here by complex welding.

In the DE 101 29 632 C1 a similar principle is used for cylindrical hydraulic and pneumatic components. The pressure stability is achieved here by the cylindrical shape with corresponding wall thickness. For the end pieces massive thick-walled flange-like bottoms are used. In order to seal the individual segments, between each cylinder segment also flange-like bottoms are provided with integrated seal. A disadvantage of this concept in the application of the invention described here is the large cost of materials, especially for the floors.

A similar arrangement, but largely unpressurized, is in the WO 2009/051526 A1 described. Again, it is a fuel tank. The special feature of the invention is that the segments can have different shapes in order to be adapted to the space conditions of a truck. Since it is preferably a plastic container, the stiffening of the walls can be achieved by a grid structure between the walls. The main claim of this invention contradicts the objective of the low cost of the invention described herein, which is achieved by identically formed segments.

A disadvantage of all four concepts described, in particular, if they were extended to large volumes, as they are the subject of this invention, is that the tightness over the entire circumference of the segments must be made, which increased in the manufacture and assembly Costs incurred and in installation practice has an increased risk of failure and leakage. Furthermore, in all concepts, the end elements are to be realized at the end surfaces pressure stable only with high material usage, especially in terms of sizes and pressures, as they are the subject of this invention. For example, the closing surfaces in the DE 10 2007 003 077 B4 completely flat, which would only be possible with large wall thicknesses and / or welded stiffeners.

Fig. 3). In the FR 2 671 542 Also described is a modular pressureless fuel tank. Here, the individual segments are screwed together by large integrated thread. The segments each have individual ports to allow the expansion of liquid or the air above it and on the other side to drain the liquid (s. Fig. 3 ). The containers are made of plastic, which allows easy integration of the threads in the manufacturing process. This concept is not suitable for the task of the invention described herein (pressure-stable and volume of typical heat storage for hot water and heating), since threads that would have to absorb the pressure acting in the container axis direction pressure in this size would be difficult to produce. The strength of inexpensive plastic would be too low. Also, the assembly of the segments would be very expensive in this size.

The object of this invention is a pressure-resistant, buildable from one or more segments memory in which the individual segments allow a good access to the installation space and in comparison to door conventional conventional individual storage by low material usage, low weight and low cost. Furthermore, should be achieved by flat and uninsulated surfaces between the segments good space utilization.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1.

The memory 1 is pressure-resistant according to the approved filling pressure. In heating systems usual pressures are 2.5 to 3 bar. It consists according to claim 1 of one or more detachably connectable to each other memory segments 2. The cross section of the segments 2 is basically arbitrary, with one or two-dimensional curved lateral surfaces have a higher pressure stability. In the production and space utilization and pressure stability are favorable one-dimensionally curved coat, ie oval or z. B. constructed from circle segments, approximately rectangular cross-sections. The segments are bounded by a pressure-receiving jacket 3 and two opposite, preferably flat end faces 4. The segments are placed against each other at the end faces. At the end faces there is a wall, which does not have to be pressure-stable and therefore can be stirred thin, light and cost-effective, since these surfaces between two segments a pressure equalization takes place. The thickness is limited only by the required insensitivity during transport and assembly and processing and connection options in the production down. If the wall 11 is made of steel, then it may, for example, have a thickness of approximately 1 to 1.5 mm, of plastic approximately 1.5 to 2.5 mm. As a result, the construction error is more vulnerable in the installation practice compared to the concepts described above with open with flanges o. Ä. Sealed end faces. The wall 1 may be made of metal and welded to the shell 3, if this is also made of metal. Likewise, a plastic wall is possible with the jacket 3 z. B. by clamping, gluing or welding (if plastic) is tightly connected. It is also possible, for example, a wall of an elastomer such as EPDM which is attached in the manner of the membrane of a membrane expansion vessel.

Another possibility of sealing is given by the fact that in each segment within the pressure-receiving shell 3 is a thin-walled, not pressure-resistant, on the jacket 3 fitting tight container 12 with flat end faces 1 3. The container 12 is preferably made of plastic, because so can be realized very cost-tight segments without any effort for welding, gluing or the like. Furthermore, a corrosion protection for the shell 3 is achieved by the plastic, if this is made of steel, whereby this smaller wall thicknesses (without safety factor for corrosion) are possible. Possible manufacturing techniques for this are, for. B. rotational molding (small quantities), blowing (medium to large quantities) and injection molding (large quantities). One possible suitable material is polypropylene.

Typische Türmaße im Wohnungsbau sind 80 cm x 200 cm.Also possible is a thin-walled plastic container which is reinforced on the lateral surface by applying fibers and pressure-stabilized and thus represents the pressure-stable jacket 3 of the memory. This segment construction allows the individual modules to be mounted close together in a row (horizontally or vertically), resulting in good space utilization. Furthermore, compared to individual pressure-stable modules much material is saved at the end faces of the segments. The height and depth of the segments can be chosen so that they can easily be introduced through doors to the site and connected there to several cubic meters. Typical door dimensions in the housing construction are 80 cm x 200 cm.

The pressure-receiving jacket 3 of a segment is advantageously constructed as a sandwich, which is composed of an inner wall 5 and an outer wall 6 and a material 7 therebetween, wherein the strength of the walls 5, 6 is higher than that of the material 7 therebetween , Particularly high bending stiffnesses are achieved with the walls positively connected material.

Usual sandwich materials 7 are z. B. honeycomb or web structures or foams, for. B. of metal or polymers. The material 7 can simultaneously serve as storage insulation. A typical structure for such a sandwich construction is an inner and outer wall 5, 6, made of steel, foamed with rigid polyurethane foam. But instead of steel, plastics, in particular fiber-reinforced ones, can also be used with appropriate shaping and dimensioning. Then, as described above, a plastic container may be reinforced on the shell wall by fibers, and on this shell is directly a sandwich, i. h., Material 7 and outer wall 6 constructed. The outer wall 6 of the sandwich can also be realized from fiber-reinforced plastic or metal.

The sandwich construction creates several advantages:
  • high stability
  • cost-effective isolation
  • Segments need not be isolated during assembly, but they can be designed door-going and yet there is no loss of space through insulation located in known storage between individual segments.

A further significant improvement in the insulating effect can be achieved by using a material 7 suitable for vacuum insulation and evacuating the space between the inner and outer walls 5, 6.

The sheath 3 of the storage segment can be further stabilized for reinforcement by completely or only at critical areas circumferential ribs 14. Such ribs can also be combined with the described sandwich construction.

Circumferential ribs only have to be pushed onto the casing 3 without the need for a welded joint.

The two outer end faces of a memory 1 constructed of juxtaposed segments 2 are each closed by a design that accommodates the permissible container pressure. It may be formed either as a half-shell in the manner of a dished bottom 8 or as a flat pressure-stable end plate 9. The end plates may each be secured to the shell of the outermost segment, also the segments are each connected to each other. The opposite end plates can also be connected directly to each other by tensile load on rods, wires, profiles or tubes, so that the end plates and the segments can be braced against each other as with clamping anchors.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the opposite end plates are connected by train-loadable rods, wires, profiles or tubes that extend through the interior of the memory segments. This relieves pressure on the end plates in the middle. In this case, with appropriate dimensioning of the end plate and the connecting elements, the fixation of the end plates on the end segments and the connection of the segments with each other can be omitted.

It is particularly advantageous if the connecting tubes 10 have openings 15 within the memory composed of segments, through which the supply and removal of storage medium takes place. This ensures, on the one hand, that a single segment can never be mistakenly pressurized, while the neighboring segments are not under pressure. Furthermore, no additional installation effort and no additional heat losses caused by the piping of the segments.

The sealing of the penetrations of the connecting tubes 10 and the connecting elements through the wall 11 is effected by seals 16 in the manner of pipe grommets. A seal consists of a tubular shaft which surrounds and seals the tube and a collar which seals between the flat walls against the collar of the next seal. When filling seals the gasket 16 first between the wall 11 and the connecting element or tube 10. When the reservoir is under pressure, the two adjoining walls 11 are pressed together with the seals 16 by the pressure and thereby seal securely under pressure. In particular, with a wall 11, 13 made of plastic, it is also possible with suitable elasticity to mold the seal directly into the plastic.

B. Sorptionsmaterial interessant. The pressure-resistant segment memory can, as described above, be filled with different media. In the application as a heat storage is in addition to liquid storage media such as water in particular latent storage material and thermochemical storage material, eg. B. Sorption interesting.

The simplest interconnection of the individual segments is a parallel connection. Alternatively, however, a series connection is possible. A correspondingly advantageous use of the individual segments for different temperature ranges can analogously to those in the utility model DE 20 2010 001 010.1 done manner described. In this case, insulating layers can be applied to the walls 11, 13 at the end faces of the segments.

The piping can also be done here with the inner connecting pipes 1 0, when the holes are each mounted in the tubes 10 only in one segment, and the interconnection of the pipes takes place outside the store.

The memory segments 2 can be constructed side by side according to the figures, which are well utilized with appropriate dimensioning usual basements. Alternatively, they can also be built on top of each other, z. B. if a high space is available.

The pressure-resistant storage consists of one or more detachably interconnected storage segments 2, wherein each segment is limited by a configured for receiving the permissible filling pressure shell 3 and two opposite, not pressure-stable or open end faces 4, wherein the segments 2 set to the end faces 4 together are, wherein the two outer end faces of a built-up of one or more juxtaposed segments memory are completed by a filling pressure receiving structures.

In FIG. 5 four memory segments 2 are connected together and completed by dished ends 8 right and left. The connection of the memory segments with each other and with the dished bottoms done by the connecting elements 18 which are applied to the flange surfaces. The connecting elements are designed like a circumferential barrel closure ring, but can also be realized as individual terminals.

The hydraulic connection to the reservoir 1 takes place via the connections 17. The sealing of the penetrations of the connecting tubes 10 through the walls 11 takes place by means of seals 16.
