Definitions

  • the invention relates to a knitting tool bar having a body which has a longitudinal direction, and a knitting tool receptacle which has webs and grooves in the longitudinal direction, wherein the webs are formed by lamellae, each having the broad sides limiting the grooves and a narrow side.
  • the invention relates to a method for producing a knitting tool bar having a body which has a longitudinal direction, and a knitting tool receiving, in the longitudinal direction alternately grooves and webs, wherein the webs of lamellae, which have the grooves bounding broad sides and a narrow side.
  • Knitting tools are all tools that are involved in a stitching process in creating a knit fabric. These include, for example, knitting needles, guide needles, Polplatinen, Abtschkammplatinen and the like.
  • Knitting machines often have working widths that can reach a length of several meters.
  • the knitting tool bars must then have a corresponding length. Along this length may well be several hundred or even more than thousand knitting tools arranged. The distance between these knitting tools, which is also referred to as “division”, must remain the same during operation.
  • a body made of a fiber-reinforced plastic in particular of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic.
  • a plastic is temperature stable, ie it does not change its length practically, when its temperature changes.
  • DE 43 02 858 C1 describes a method for producing a needle bar, in which an auxiliary part, which has grooves for receiving needles, glued to the body and then divided into sections with a length of 7 to 8 cm.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a temperature-stable Barre.
  • the lamellae thus no longer form a longitudinally continuous composite, in which length changes may result due to temperature changes, but the lamellae sit separately on the body.
  • the attachment of the lamellae on the body must therefore basically have only one positioning function.
  • the slats can certainly have a thermal expansion.
  • the lamellae have only a very small extent in the longitudinal direction, such a thermal expansion is also only small and can easily be accepted.
  • a small game is required anyway. Although this game is very small, it is sufficient to absorb thermal expansion of the blades and the knitting tools.
  • At least one lamella is glued to the narrow side of the body.
  • An adhesive bond is sufficient in most cases to hold the blade reliably in place.
  • Gluing the lamella to the body is a relatively simple method of manufacture.
  • At least one lamella is embedded in the region of its narrow side in a connecting compound.
  • the bonding compound may be, for example, an adhesive or a plastic.
  • the compound compound protrude slightly above the lamella, in a section which is formed in the region of the narrow side.
  • the compound compound serves to some extent as a tilt protection of the blade relative to the body.
  • the bonding compound adhesively adheres to the body. So you do not need additional glue more to connect the compound and the body together.
  • At least one lamella has on its narrow side adjacent to the body a foot which has a greater extent in the longitudinal direction than the web formed by the lamella.
  • the lamella widened so on the side where it is connected to the body. This gives it a slightly larger footprint, which allows a more stable attachment.
  • a parting line is formed between feet of adjacent lamellae. It prevents thereby, that along the feet results in a continuous bar, in turn, there is the risk of thermal expansion.
  • the foot is covered by the bonding compound. This makes it possible to form the connection between the body and the blade extremely stable. The foot is also held positively after curing of the bonding compound on the body.
  • the lamellae are formed of a metal.
  • the object is achieved by a method of the type mentioned above in that one connects the slats in the region of its narrow side with the body by attaching a bar on the body and the slats after fastening thereby forming that the bar transverse to the longitudinal direction completely severed or by connecting the lamellae individually or in pairs with the body.
  • the fastening can be done, for example, by gluing the strip to the body over its entire surface. If you then cut the bar across the longitudinal direction, you can be sure that the remaining lamellae also have an adhesive bond with the body.
  • the remaining connection between the lamella and the body is usually sufficient for a permanent attachment, because each lamella basically only needs to be fixed in one position. Then, when knitting tools are inserted into the grooves, then stabilize the slats on the knitting tools each other.
  • a lamella group with two lamellae has a higher stability on the body, so that the attachment can again be designed with a high stability.
  • the lamellae are glued to the body.
  • a compound compound For example, if one applies the bonding compound to the body with a certain thickness, then one can push the lamellae into this bonding compound, so that not only the narrow side can be used for the connection between the lamellae and the body, but also a small area of the broadside which is adjacent to the corpus. The bonding compound then sticks to both the body and the slats.
  • Fig. 1 shows in front view and in the neckline a knitting tool bar 1 with a body 2, which has a longitudinal direction 3, which is symbolized by a double arrow.
  • the knitting tool bar 1 has a knitting tool receptacle 4 which has webs 5 and grooves 6 alternately in the longitudinal direction 3.
  • Knitting tools are basically all elements involved in a stitch forming operation in knitwear production, such as knitting needles, guide needles, pile boards, chipping boards, and the like. These knitting tools must be held on the knitting tool bar 1 at a predetermined distance, the so-called division. While working, they must not change their position relative to each other and relative to the corpus 2. Finally, it is important that temperature influences on the knitting tool bar 1 are kept as small as possible.
  • the body 2 is predominantly made of a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, so that it basically undergoes no change in length when there is a change in temperature. Accordingly, the knitting tool holder 4 should undergo no change in length with a change in temperature in order to prevent stresses between the knitting tool holder 4 and the body 2 and a possible curvature of the knitting tool bar 1.
  • the webs 5 are formed by lamellae 7.
  • Each lamella 7 each has a broad side 8, which limits the groove 6.
  • This broad side 8 is directed perpendicular to the longitudinal direction 3.
  • the lamella 7 has a narrow side 9, which is directed perpendicular to the broad side 8.
  • the lamella 7 has even more narrow sides.
  • narrow side 9 is meant here the narrow side which is adjacent to the body 2 of the active tool bar 1.
  • an adhesive 10 is applied on the body 2.
  • This adhesive 10 may be formed for example by a plastic. It is also called “compound mass”.
  • the bonding compound preferably adheres to the body, so there is no need to take further steps to connect the bonding compound to the body 2.
  • each blade 7 With the aid of the adhesive 10, the narrow side 9 of each blade 7 is connected to the body 2. This connection is surprisingly enough to create a sufficiently stable knitting tool holder 4.
  • the lamellae 7 stabilize each other when a knitting tool 11 is inserted into the groove 6 between two lamellae 7. Since usually all the grooves 6 are filled with knitting tools 11, results in a contiguous block of alternately arranged knitting tools 11 and blades 7, which has a sufficiently high mechanical stability in order to properly perform a knitting process.
  • the fins 7 are preferably formed of a metal. This results in a mechanically sufficiently stable active tool receptacle 4.
  • the knitting tools 11 are usually also formed from a metal. If the knitting tools 11 are inserted into the grooves 6, although there is a block which is formed substantially continuously from a metal. However, one needs between the slats 7 and the knitting tools 11 always a small game to use the knitting tools 11 at all in the grooves 6 can. This game takes, even if it is very small, the thermal expansion of the knitting tools 11 and the fins 7 in the longitudinal direction 3, so that even with a change in temperature, no unwanted stresses are registered in the knitting tool bar 1.
  • the slats 7 can be in the in Fig. 1 illustrated embodiment proceed so that one sticks a strip of the metal, from which the lamellae 7 later, over the entire surface of the body 2.
  • the adhesive 10 is applied to the body and the strip is then placed on the adhesive 10.
  • the grooves 6 are produced, for example by sawing or milling.
  • the bar is completely severed. In this cutting can be quite incise into the adhesive 10.
  • the adhesive 10 then has at the bottom of the grooves 6 a corresponding recess 12, which is not critical.
  • the knitting tool 11 is then located on the bottom of the recess 12.
  • Fig. 3 shows a modified embodiment with two different slats. Same elements as in the Fig. 1 and 2 are provided with the same reference numerals.
  • lamellae 7a, 7b Shown are lamellae 7a, 7b, which are individually connected to the body 2. By this is meant that the lamellae 7a, 7b are present as individual elements prior to connection to the body 2. In a manner not shown one can also use pairs of lamellae, i. E. a group of lamellae, in which two lamellae are connected to each other, in particular in the region of the narrow side 9, which is connected to the body 2.
  • the lamellae 7a, 7b are inserted into a tool, a so-called “teaching", and arranged there relative to one another at the desired pitch and held fast.
  • the disk pack thus prepared can then be connected to the body 2.
  • the body 2 can be provided with an application of an adhesive 10, or the adhesive 10 can be applied to the disk pack.
  • the auxiliary tool can then be removed and the blades 7a, 7b are connected to the body 2.
  • the lamellae 7a have in the region of their side adjacent to the body narrow side 9 a foot 13 which has a greater extent in the longitudinal direction 3 than the webs formed by the lamellae 7a 5. Shown is a foot 13, in the longitudinal direction on both sides via the lamella 7a survives. In many cases it is also sufficient to let the foot 13 protrude in the longitudinal direction only on one side over the lamella 7a.
  • parting line 14 is formed between feet of adjacent lamellae 7a . So you avoid a continuous metallic bar, where there is a risk of thermal expansion.
  • the parting line 14 is shown exaggerated here. It's enough in many cases when the parting line 14 in the longitudinal direction has an extent of the order of 1/10 mm or less.
  • the foot 13 is covered by the adhesive 10 or the bonding compound. After curing of the adhesive 10 thus results in a form fit, with which the blade 7a is held on the body 2.
  • the surface of the adhesive 10 facing away from the body 2 forms a bearing surface 15 for the knitting tools 11.
