Claims (7)

  1. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung des Typs, welcher mindestens ein Crimpwerkzeug (16) zum Umschlagen eines ersten zu biegenden Randes (18) eines ersten Blechs (12) auf einem zweiten Rand (20) eines zweiten Blechs (14) umfasst, wobei die Ränder (18, 20) parallel zueinander verlaufen und das Werkzeug (16) verschiebbar entlang einer zum ersten zu biegenden Rand (18) parallel verlaufenden Arbeitsachse (A) angetrieben wird, wobei das Werkzeug (16) mindestens eine Crimpseite (26a) begrenzt, die so ausgelegt ist, dass sie durch Reibung mit dem ersten zu biegenden Rand (18) des ersten Blechs (12) zusammenwirkt, und die sich von stromaufwärts nach stromabwärts entlang der Vorschubrichtung des Werkzeugs (16) erstreckt, aus einem ersten stromaufwärtigen Eingriffsabschnitt (28), der dazu ausgelegt ist, sich parallel zum ersten zu biegenden Rand (18) zu erstrecken, bis zu einem zweiten stromaufwärtigen Abschnitt (30), der in einem Winkel zum ersten Abschnitt (28) um die Arbeitsachse (A) geneigt ist, wobei die Crimpseite (26a) einen dritten Zwischenabschnitt (32) zum Biegen der Form eines Helikoids, ausgelegt zum Biegen des ersten zu biegenden Randes (18) mittels Verwindung, umfasst, dadurch, dass sie ein Antriebsmittel zur Verschiebung des Crimpwerkzeugs (16) entlang der Arbeitsachse (A) umfasst, wobei das Antriebsmittel dazu ausgelegt ist, das Crimpwerkzeug (16) in mindestens eine erste Vor-Crimpstellung anzutreiben, in der die Crimpseite (26a) ein erstes Mal den ersten zu biegenden Rand (18) des ersten Bleches (12) im Lauf eines ersten Durchlaufs biegt, und in mindestens einer zweiten Crimpstellung, in der das Werkzeug (16) im Winkel um die Arbeitsachse (A) geschwenkt wird, zur ersten Vor-Crimpstellung, und in der die Crimpseite (26a) ein zweites Mal den ersten zu biegenden Rand (18) des ersten Bleches (12) im Lauf eines zweiten Durchlaufs biegt.
  2. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Antriebsmittel zur Verschiebung des Werkzeugs (16) ein Roboterarm ist, der mit dem Crimpwerkzeug (16) verbunden ist und der so ausgelegt ist, dass er das Crimpwerkzeug (16) in Verschiebung entlang einer vorgegebenen Crimpbahn antreibt.
  3. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Crimpwerkzeug (16) um 90 Grad zwischen seiner ersten Vor-Crimpstellung und seiner zweiten Crimpstellung geschwenkt wird, um den ersten Rand (18) des ersten Bleches (12) um 180 Grad zu biegen.
  4. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der erste stromaufwärtige Abschnitt (28) der Crimpseite (26a) des Werkzeugs (16) im Winkel zum zweiten stromaufwärtigen Abschnitt (30) der Crimpseite (26a) um die Arbeitsachse (A) in einem Winkel von 90 Grad geneigt ist.
  5. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Crimpwerkzeug (16) eine symmetrische Bauweise aufweist, wobei das Werkzeug (16) die erste Crimpseite (26a), die auf einem ersten Teil (24a) des Werkzeugs angeordnet ist, umfasst und eine zweite Crimpseite (26b), die auf einem zweiten dem Werkzeug gegenüberliegenden Teil (24b) symmetrisch angeordnet ist, umfasst.
  6. Vorrichtung (10) zum Crimpen durch Reibung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie mit einer Matrix (22) zur Stützung des ersten Bleches (12) und des zweiten Bleches (14) während des Crimpens ausgestattet ist.
  7. Verfahren zum Crimpen durch Reibung zum Umschlagen eines ersten zu biegenden Randes (18) eines ersten Bleches (12) auf einem zweiten Rand (20) eines zweiten Bleches (14), wobei die Ränder (18, 20) parallel zueinander verlaufen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren mittels eines Crimpwerkzeugs (16) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche durchgeführt wird, und dass das Verfahren mindestens die folgenden aufeinander folgenden Schritte umfasst:
    - einen Schritt des Vor-Crimpens, der darin besteht, das Werkzeug (16) in Verschiebung entlang der Arbeitsachse (A) in eine erste Vor-Crimpstellung anzutreiben, so dass der erste zu biegende Rand (18) ein erstes Mal im Lauf eines ersten Durchlaufs gebogen wird, und
    - einen Schritt des Crimpens, der darin besteht, das Werkzeug (16) in Verschiebung entlang einer Arbeitsachse (A) in eine zweite Crimpstellung anzutreiben, in der das Werkzeug (16) im Winkel um die Arbeitsachse (A) zur ersten Vor-Crempstellung geschwenkt wird, so dass der erste zu biegende Rand (18) ein zweites Mal im Lauf eines zweiten Durchlaufs gebogen wird.
