Definitions
- the invention relates to a time measuring system for measuring the running time of a runner according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a time measuring system is known by EP 1 646432 81.
- EP 1 646432 81 is known by EP 1 646432 81.
- Running path generates a presence signal of the rotor, e.g. the start signal and the target signal.
- a light source is placed at each point of view, which crosses the path perpendicularly and strikes a reflector, which reflects the light beam to the light source, specifically a light beam receiver. With interruption of the light beam generates the
- Light beam receiver a presence signal. This is set up as a measuring pulse via a placed in the range of the signal transmitter radio to the head of the route
- Transmit timepiece and serves as a switching signal by which the timer is set or switched off.
- This time measuring system has the disadvantage that for detecting the presence of a rotor (2) on each route crossing the running line a light barrier, consisting of a light beam source with a constant or constantly pulsating light beam, a
- Light beam receiver and a reflector must be arranged and connected to the centrally arranged timepiece for transmitting the switching signal. This becomes the
- the object of the invention is to provide a timepiece that can be built with little time kan and requires no electrical installations or settings, the correct execution requires special training and control, especially in schools performed or monitored by the teaching staff with little effort can be.
- the solution includes a time measuring device for measuring the running time of a runner on a running track between two lines of presence crossing the running distance, with detection devices for detecting the presence of the runner on each of the runners
- Presence lines where the detection devices consist of:
- a light beam source whose constant or constantly pulsating light beam is aligned along the line of presence and crosses the path on a measuring axis which is perpendicular to the line of presence, a reflector which is arranged in the light beam and the light beam as a measuring beam along the
- Presence line reflects, a Meßstrahlempfnatureer (light beam receiver), which is arranged in the direction of the reflected measuring beam on the line of presence and generates by interrupting the Meßstrahlempfangs a presence signal of the rotor, which the

- the headend may also contain a computing and storage capacity.
- the running paths may be unidirectional ( Figures 1, 2, 3, Claim 3, 4) or U-folded ( Figures 4, 5, 6, and 4, 5, 7).
- the running distances may be straight (Fig.1- 4) or run in a zigzag or serpentine wound. (Fig.5,6).
- lateral signal transmitters with light beam source and light beam receiver can also be attached to one or both sides of the head station facing the travel path in order to obtain further possibilities for varying the running distances.
- the reflectors are simple mirrors which are placed on the other side of the running track and are aimed directly at the respective signal generator ( Figures 2 to 6, claims 6 and 7).
- the required settings on the head-end can be preprogrammed, so that only the required setting program has to be called up by the input device / keyboard. It can also be pre-programmed test runs, so that when you call a specific run program, the establishment of the required presence lines with the right
- each with a deflection mirror and a cooperating end mirror can be automatically monitored and verified at the headend.
- the invention thus concentrates the establishment of a running track on the head station, i. their installation and adjustment without the installation, wiring or other electrical connection of other electrical equipment being required.
- Figures 1-6 different equipment of time measuring systems with examples of
- Running tracks that can be set up with it ..
- the timing system consists in the basic equipment from a radiation source 6.2 as
- Light beam source LSG Light beam source LSG, a light beam receiver 5 and a data processing device (computer) including timer and input device, e.g. Keyboard and switch.
- a data processing device e.g. Keyboard and switch.
- Light beam source is in particular a laser beam source into consideration, the light beam sufficiently energetic and strongly bundled, so that erroneous measurements can be avoided by light scattering.
- the head station is a box or a cuboid housing 9. It is placed in the area of the start line 10 and the standby line 11. The runner 2 waits outside this area before the ready line 11.
- the head station 9 contains one or more units, referred to as a signal generator 5 and consisting of light beam source 6 and light beam receiver 7, both of which are directed in the direction of travel.
- a signal generator 5 and consisting of light beam source 6 and light beam receiver 7, both of which are directed in the direction of travel.
- Such units are commercially available. These are light beam sources that can emit and receive continuous or pulsating light beams, especially laser beams. Receiving or interrupting reception (negative pulse) will cause an electrical signal to be sent to the computer
- timer can be given as a start signal or stop signal.
- the signal generator 5 are preferably mounted in the head station so that light beam source 6 and light beam receiver 7 are horizontally adjacent to each other and the emitted and the received light beam in a horizontal plane, the light beam plane lie.
- Reflector 10 In the light beam plane opposite them is the reflector system, generally referred to in this application as "Reflector 10."
- the reflector consists of a deflection mirror 0.1, slightly next to the track extension, and the end mirror 10.2, located on the other side of the track.
- the reflector 10 fulfills the task of directing the light beam emitted in the direction or parallel to the route to the line of presence and returning the reflected return beam to the light beam receiver 7 parallel to the emitted light beam.
- the light beam source 6 is thus directed to the deflection mirror 10.1.
- the vertical plane of the deflection mirror 10.1 forms with the coming light beam in the light beam plane an angle of 45 °.
- the light beam reflected by it thus crosses the running path substantially at an angle of 90 ° and impinges on the end mirror 10.2.
- the vertical plane of the end mirror 10.2 lies on the other side of the running track and forms with the deflected in the line of presence light beam in the light beam plane at an angle of 90 °. This means that the light beam incident on the line of presence is reflected in the same direction to the deflection mirror 0.1 and from this to the light beam receiver 7.
- the light beam thus crosses between the deflecting mirror 10.1 and the end mirror 10.2 two Paint the running track. If the light beam between the deflecting mirror 10.1 and the end mirror 10.2 or between the signal generator 5 and the reflector system is interrupted by the runner passing on the running track, this negative pulse is used to establish a point in time of the run, as described.
- a reflector 10 consisting of deflecting mirror 10.1 and end mirror 10.2 is therefore arranged, provided that the line of presence -in the running direction- lies in front of the head station. If the line of presence is equal to the head station, as may be the case in particular at the start and / or finish line, then the signal generator 5 with light beam source 6 and light beam receiver 7 is mounted laterally and directed perpendicular to the running distance.
- the reflector consists only of an end mirror, which is placed on the other side of the running track and reflects the light beam directly back to the associated light beam receiver.
- each line is called, on which the runner is to be detected when running on the running track for the purpose of time recording.
- An essential line of presence is therefore the start line 3.1, another the finish line 3.2.
- the light beam to be crossed is momentarily interrupted. This means that the light beam receiver 7 receives no signal.
- This negative pulse is detected by a built-in in the headend 9 computer, microprocessor 14 and given as a start signal or stop signal or intermediate signal to the timer 8, which is also part of the computer capacity and is visibly integrated into the headend from the outside.
- the computer 14 also contains input devices, in particular a keyboard 16.
- the computer capacity also includes a storage capacity. Therefore, inputs can be made to program different running distances and to set up the appropriate running distances and the importance of each signal
- the head station contains a printer, by which the runner the length and the course of the running track and the duration and possibly the split times are communicated.
- FIG. 1 shows that in such a head station 9, two signal transmitters 5 are integrated on the front side of the head station, each with light source 6 &.
- Light beam receiver 7. Both are aligned in the direction of the route 4 and arranged slightly next to the track.
- the right signal generator 5.2 cooperates with a reflector 10 with deflecting mirror 10.1 and end mirror 10.2, which on the first line of presence, the Starting line 3.1, are arranged.
- the left signal generator 5.1 cooperates with a reflector 10 with deflecting mirror 10.1 and end mirror 10.2, which is on a second
- Presence line the finish line 3.2 are arranged. In both cases, the deflected light beams cross the running track 4 at an angle of 90 °.
- the head station 9 is set up just before the planned start line 3.1 and aligned with the Signalgebem on the planned start line 3.1 and finish line 3.2. Then, a program is called by means of the keyboard 16, which is the right
- Signal generator 5.2 assigns the function to set the timer 8 in motion and the left signal generator 5.1 assigns the function to stop the timer.
- the runner 2 takes before the start of his run on the ready line 11 lineup and triggered by its presence on the start line 3.1, the start signal for the timer 8 and by its presence on the finish line 3.2, the stop signal.
