Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pole grip, in particular for walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine ski poles, cross-country ski poles, or Nordic walking poles, with a handle body with a hook-like device for fastening a hand-held device, in particular in the form of a wrist strap or a glove.
- snap-in means are arranged in the region of the hook-like device in such a way that a loop-shaped, ring-shaped or eye-shaped device inserted from above into the hook-like device and provided on the hand-held device is fixed in the hook-like device in a self-locking manner.
- the WO 2006/066423 A1 discloses a stick handle with a retaining pin for attachment of a hand-held device.
- this stick handle especially for walking sticks, trekking poles, alpine skis, cross-country poles, Nordic walking poles, there is a handle body and a hook-like device for attaching a hand holding device, in particular in the form of a wrist strap or a glove.
- displaceable or rotatable latching means are arranged such that a loop-shaped, ring-shaped or loop-shaped device inserted substantially from above into the hook-like device and provided on the hand-holding device is fixed in the hook-like device in a self-latching manner.
- the inventive stick handle is particularly suitable for trekking poles, Nordic walking poles, alpine ski poles or cross-country poles. It has a handle head and a handle body, as well as a hook-like device for fastening a hand holding device, in particular in the form of a wrist strap or a glove.
- a hook-like device for fastening a hand holding device, in particular in the form of a wrist strap or a glove.
- at least one displaceable, pivotable or rotatable latching means is arranged in such a way that a loop-shaped, ring-shaped or loop-shaped device which is essentially inserted from above into the hook-like device and which is provided on the hand-held fixture fixes in the hook-like device in a self-locking manner becomes.
- the hook-like device is arranged on the pole handle hand side in the upper region of the handle body or in the handle head.
- the hook-like device comprises a retaining pin or retaining pin, which is offset from the handle body to form an insertion slot to the side of the hand or arranged as an incision in the handle body.
- the retaining pin or retaining pin can be arranged substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pole, but it can also be inclined in an plane spanned by the pole axis and the running direction to the rear, that is to the rear or hand side, by an angle ⁇ , so that it does not is accessible above parallel to the Stockrifflnaturesachse, but from slightly obliquely above.
- the corresponding opening angle ⁇ in FIG.
- 1b counterclockwise with a positive sign is preferably in the range of 0-15 °, particularly preferably in the range of 5-12 °, wherein just 0 ° means parallel to Stockrifflnaturesachse.
- a slight inclination of the retaining pin or retaining pin that is, when ⁇ > 0 °, among other things leads to a better application of force in the use of the stick with a limited loop / eye.
- the hook-like device is on Handle body molded.
- the retaining pin or retaining pin can, viewed in cross section to its extension axis, have a circular cross section, but may also have an oval cross section.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the retaining mandrel or retaining pin is characterized in that the cross-section is somewhat D-shaped, with the flattened portion pointing in the direction of the hand. If such an embodiment of the retaining mandrel or retaining pin combined used with a loop / eyelet, which is formed corresponding D-shaped or attached to the hand-held device so that a corresponding rigid flattened zone faces directly to the hand, this results in a rotation of the wrist strap opposite the retaining pin / retaining pin by the plant of the two flattened areas of loop / eye on the retaining pin / retaining pin.
- the depth of the insertion slot is greater than the width and the thickness of the retaining pin or retaining pin.
- the hook-like device has a width in the range of 3-15 mm, preferably in the range of 4-10 mm, wherein the hook-like device particularly preferably at least partially perpendicular to the Stockgriffachse a substantially oval or rectangular cross-section, optionally with rounded Edges, has.
- the insertion slot has a depth (to be understood as the length of the slot substantially parallel or slightly inclined to the rod longitudinal axis) in the range of 5-50 mm, preferably in the range of 10-30 mm.
- the latching means is in the form of a retaining lug or latching lug, which defines a restricted or enclosed area in the clamped position for the loop, ring or eye-shaped device.
- a recess is provided in the grip head and / or handle body from above, in which a slidably and / or rotatably mounted locking block is arranged on or in which the latching means is arranged.
- the core of the invention is that the locking block has on its upper side an actuating region, which at least partially forms the grip head and the hand side in a rear handle head region overlaps the insertion slot at least partially upper side without closing the access to the insertion slot.
- the actuation area projects beyond the insertion slot, but leaves it accessible from one side of the hand or from the rear or at an angle from above, so that the loop, ring or eye-shaped device of the hand-held device moves over the Retaining mandrel can be slipped or guided.
- the insertion slot is accessible from the outside both in the rest position, in which the retaining lug is braced against the retaining mandrel, as well as in a triggering position, in which the retaining lug is removed from the insertion slot by movement of the actuating portion.
- the actuating region forms an upper end of the grip head, wherein the actuating region preferably overlaps on the upper side a side wall, preferably both lateral side walls of the grip head.
- the lower edge of the actuating area can be designed to be stepped, for example, and the side wall adjoining there correspondingly stepped, or it is also possible to form a labyrinth edge in this area. Since the operating area and the side wall are formed there with the same radius around the pivot point of the block good tightness can be achieved with small tolerances.
- the operating area in a front grip head area covers a downwardly bevelled edge of the grip head.
- the actuating region in a rear grip head region, facing towards the hand or towards the rear has an extension which runs essentially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the pole along a horizontal direction (opposite to the running direction of the user) and which at least partially overlaps the insertion slot.
- the insertion slot is at least partially overlapped by the extension of the operating area both in a rest position in which the latching means is clamped against the hook-like device, as well as in a triggering position in which the latching means at least partially releases the insertion slot.
- the extension has at its hand-side end an upwardly chamfered flank which, while forming an angle of 95-120 degrees, preferably of 100-105 degrees, towards a plane spanned by the longitudinal axis of the pole and the axis of rotation runs. This leaves more space for the coupling of the hand-held device or the introduction of the loop, ring or eye-shaped device on the retaining pin.
- the actuation region preferably has a width of 0.7-2.5 cm, particularly preferably of about 1-2 cm, at its widest point.
- the Operating range at its widest point a nearly equal or preferably at least equal width, or preferably a something, ie a total of 1-5 mm, greater width than the width of the handle head at its widest point.
- the operating area thus "covers" the grip head to some extent. In contrast to various embodiments of the prior art, the operating area is not embedded in the handle head here. This has the advantage that no dirt or snow between the actuating portion and the side wall of the handle head can penetrate into the Griffkopfaus Principleung.
- the actuation region in the front grip head region extends further in the running direction than the grip head in the front grip head region. Again, an overlay leads to the entry of dirt or snow is avoided in the Griffkopfaus Principleung.
- the locking block is rotatably mounted on the handle head about a horizontal axis of rotation, which is arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pole and preferably transverse to the running direction.
- This is preferably realized by a cross pin, by means of which the locking block is mounted in the handle head, and which projects through the locking block and the side walls of the handle head.
- a lower edge of the actuating region, which adjoins a side wall of the handle head, and preferably also the local two side walls of the handle head at least partially forms a circular arc around the axis of rotation of the locking block.
- a circle is defined with a circle radius of 0.5-3 cm, preferably in the range of 0.5-1.5 cm.
- the locking block may be integrally formed with the actuating portion or formed on the locking block.
- the actuating portion forms the uppermost portion of the locking block.
- the actuating region may be formed of a softer material than the locking block, for example with more grip-friendly properties.
- the operating area is preferably, when viewed from the side of the pole handle, or opposite or relative to a plane which is spanned by the rod handle longitudinal axis and the running direction, convex or curved downward or arcuate.
- the actuating portion is at least in the front handle head area in the hand-side rear handle head area directed downwardly arcuately formed. This allows a comfortable grip around the handle head from above, for example when supporting. This allows actuation of the locking block / operating area in a number of ways, namely with the thumb, with the index finger, the same or the other hand.
- the actuating area is additionally or alternatively opposite or relative to a plane which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pole, convex or curved downwards or arcuate.
- a particularly grip-friendly embodiment has an actuating region which has on its upper side a structuring, in particular a ribbing, which is suitable for preventing a user's finger from slipping off.
- the structuring is preferably arranged both in a rear or hand-side grip head region and in a front grip head region of the actuation region.
- a further preferred embodiment is characterized in that the actuating region in the running direction in the front grip head region and / or in the hand-side rear grip head region is designed to converge viewed from above.
- a further preferred embodiment is characterized in that the actuating region also has an extension in the front grip head region which projects beyond the grip head in the direction of travel, preferably by 1-3.5 cm, preferably in the range of 1.5-2.8 cm.
- This embodiment is e.g. especially suitable for use in biathlon sports. If the athlete lets loose the stick, the stick can slip through the athlete's hand and come to a halt in the ready-to-use position on the lower edge of this extension, which acts as a sort of "catch nose". At the stop position, the athlete's hand strap is then placed at the correct height of the stick handle so that the athlete can then "blind" the hand holding device by means of the loop, ring or eye-shaped coupling element into the handle or the retaining pin.
- This function is particularly favored in a pole grip whose operating area in a front grip area has a substantially straight portion which extends at the top substantially horizontally to the pole longitudinal axis in the direction of travel, preferably over a length of 1.0-3.5, preferably over a length of 1.5-3.5 cm, particularly preferably 2-3 cm.
- the actuation region in the front grip head region adjoins the straight section having subsequent downwardly bent end.
- the downward curvature at the lower side or lower edge of the extension in the front grip head region projecting beyond the grip head preferably at least partially describes a circular arc of a circle which has at least substantially the same radius of curvature as a finger, in particular a forefinger of a user.
- the end is then bent so that the end of a slightly larger curvature or a smaller arc radius describes, so that the extension can serve optimally as a catch nose.
- the extension may also have at least one material recess or recess or indentation for the purpose of saving material and thus weight.
- the latching means described above is preferably in the form of a, preferably arranged on or in the locking block or formed as a integrally formed with the locking block retaining lug or latching lug.
- the retention nose may for example form the lower portion of the locking block.
- This retaining lug defines in a braced against the hook-like device position (rest position of the locking mechanism during use of the stick) down a restricted area for the loop, ring or eye-shaped device.
- the loop, ring or eye-shaped device is thus held captive in this restricted area, until such time as they by triggering the locking mechanism by rotation / tilting of the operating range in a direction to a hand side of the user or backwards (counter to the direction ) is released.
- the locking block is advantageously clamped by a spring, in particular preferably via a leaf spring, against the hand-arranged, hook-like device.
- the spring is preferably arranged in a recess of the locking block, wherein the recess is preferably arranged in a front, in the running direction, or away from the hook-like device area of the locking block.
- the spring is braced in this preferred embodiment in the recess of the handle head against a (front) inner wall of the handle head.
- the retention nose preferably has a chamfered flank in the direction of insertion from top to bottom, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the pole of the pole.
- the user To achieve the Ineinrastung the user must only lead the loop, ring or eye-shaped device on the hand-held device in the rest position on the retaining pin, wherein the retaining lug against the spring force from the Insertion slot is displaced and snaps back as soon as the loop, ring or eye-shaped device is trapped in the restricted area.
- the locking block can be tilted from the outside over the actuating region while releasing the self-locking against the force of the spring about the axis of rotation.
- the operating area is tilted towards a hand side of the user. This can conveniently be achieved by means of the index finger or by means of the thumb of the hand.
- the actuating region can also be actuated or pivoted upward by an axial movement of the index finger held below the catch nose along the longitudinal axis of the pole.
- the pole grip may additionally have a mechanism for self-triggering, for example as a security aspect.
- a mechanism for self-triggering can be realized by a separate mechanism, as for example in the WO 2006/066423 is disclosed, but it can also be achieved simply by the lower portion of the retaining lug is beveled, namely slightly upwardly bent to the retaining mandrel, so that at a sufficiently large pull on loop / eye up against the restoring force of the spring 12th the block can be deflected.
- the present invention also relates to a stick, in particular a walking stick, trekking pole, alpine ski pole, cross-country ski pole, or Nordic walking pole with a pole grip according to one of the previously described embodiments.
- a stick handle according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. This is particularly suitable for cross-country skiing or Nordic walking sports.
- the hand side H is the rear side of the stick handle, from which forth the user embraces the pole grip 1 and from which the hand-held device is coupled to the pole grip 1.
- the running direction L is directed towards the front V as seen by the user.
- the suitable for holding a stick tube, illustrated pole grip 1 has a handle body 3 and a top of the handle body subsequent grip head 2.
- the pole grip 1 has an insertion opening 20, visible in FIG. 4 , and a recess 21, or a cavity or a blind hole, visible in the FIGS.
- the grip head 2 has a hand grip portion 2a extending in a direction R opposite to a running direction L, and has a front grip portion 2b which is aligned in the direction L when the stick is used.
- the grip head 2 is formed in its front grip area 2b with a flank 15 tapered downwards.
- a recess 8 is arranged from above, which is provided for receiving a locking block 9. This recess 8 is limited towards the bottom, so to speak, formed as a blind hole.
- the locking block 9 is mounted in this recess 8 in the grip head 2 about a rotation axis 11 which is arranged perpendicular to the stock handle longitudinal axis S, rotatable or tiltable or pivotable.
- the axis of rotation 11 is realized by a transverse pin which extends through the side walls 18 of the handle head 2 and the locking block 9.
- the tilting of the locking block 9 is achieved by an operation of an actuating portion 10 in the direction of rotation D to the hand side H out.
- This actuating region 10 forms the top or the upper end of the handle head 2, or covers the side walls 18 and the chamfered edge 15 of the handle head 2.
- the actuating portion 10 in the rear handle head portion 2a has a greater thickness d than in the front grip portion 2b.
- the actuating region 10 overlaps the side walls 18 of the grip head 2 in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the pole.
- the actuating region 10 has a greater width at its widest point b1 than the width of the grip head 2 at its widest point below the Operating range 10 or as the maximum distance between the two under the operating range 10 to be used coming sidewalls 18 of the handle head 2.
- the actuating portion 10 has approximately in a region which is seen along the longitudinal axis of the stock handlebar S above the axis of rotation 11 on the handle head top, his widest point b1. This is especially in the FIGS. 4 . 7a and 7b recognizable.
- the operating area 10 is shown tapered in the front grip area 2b and in the rear grip area 2a.
- the actuating region 10 Seen from the side, that is, in a plane E1, which is spanned by the running direction L and the longitudinal axis S, the actuating region 10 has an arcuate or curved configuration.
- This convexly curved design when viewed from the side is important as mentioned above for the possibility of operation both with the thumb (from behind) and with the forefinger (from the front) with the same hand.
- FIG. 1b For illustration of this curvature, a circle K1 with a radius r1 is inserted, whereby a part of the circle K1 is described by a part of the grip head upper edge and thus also the lower edge 19 of the actuating area 10.
- the actuating portion 10 in a plane E2, which is perpendicular to the stock handle longitudinal axis S and through the running direction L and the axis of rotation 11, a curved formation, but this is not clearly visible in the figures.
- the stick handle 1 according to the invention has a hook-like device 4, which forms part of the handle body 3. It is realized by a slot 6 in the handle head 2 and in the upper portion of the handle body 3. This insertion slot 6 is suitable for receiving a loop, ring or eye-shaped device on a hand holding device of the user.
- the actuating region 10 has an extension 10c which engages over the insertion slot 6, the latter being accessible from the side H of the hand.
- the extension 10c has in the illustrated embodiment, an upwardly at an angle ⁇ of about 105 degrees to the longitudinal axis S splayed / angled edge 17, measured in a plane E1, which is spanned by the Stockgrifaffticiansachse S and the running direction L.
- FIG. 1a or in section in FIG. 6a the pole grip 1 is shown in a rest position.
- the latching means 5, ie the retaining lug or latching lug against the hook-like device 4 is clamped and either a loop, ring or eye-shaped device of the hand-held device of the user is held captive in a restricted area 7, or that no hand holding device on Stick handle 1 is coupled.
- the hand-held device can be inserted in the rest position into the insertion slot 6 and self-locking fixed on the pole grip 1, without actuating the actuating portion 10.
- FIG. 1b or in section in FIG. 6b the stick handle 1 is shown in a triggering position.
- the rest position in FIG. 1a is the actuating portion 10 with its lower edge 19 along the side walls 18 of the Handle head moved backward or tilted towards the hand side.
- the extension 10c thus projects beyond the retaining pin 4 more than in the rest position.
- the upper edge of the downwardly beveled flank 15 of the grip head 2 easily emerges as a result of the displacement, with the grip head 2 still substantially completely covering the grip head 2 even in the release position.
- This triggering position is only temporary, ie only during the decoupling of the hand-held device from the pole grip 1.
- FIG. 6a A longitudinal section through the pole grip 1 of FIG. 1a is in FIG. 6a shown.
- bracing the locking block 9 leaf spring 12 is shown in a corresponding front recess 13 in the locking block 9 visible. This is braced toward the rear or to the hand side H against the retaining lug 5, and towards a front side V towards the front inner wall 14 of the grip head 2 in the recess 8.
- the extension 10c on the operating portion 10 and the path of movement of the actuating portion 10 for the release movement is provided such that access to the insertion slot 6 is ensured both in the rest position and in the release position, at least in one direction from back to front , or parallel to the direction L.
- the actuating portion 10 also has on its upper side, both in the rear grip head portion 2a and in the front grip portion 2b structuring 16, and a ribbing, which offers the user a grippier surface when triggering the locking mechanism.
- the structuring 16 is arranged at the rear and at the front, since the user can actuate the actuating region 10 in the direction of rotation D with both the thumb and the index finger of the hand (or a finger of the other hand) coupled to the pole grip 1 by means of a hand-held device.
- the structuring 16 is formed by extensions of a central portion 9b of the locking block 9, which the actuating portion 10th project through.
- the locking block 9 is formed in several parts, wherein it has a lower portion 9 a, on which the locking block 9 is mounted in the handle head 2 by means of a transverse pin along the axis of rotation 11, and the retaining tab 5 and the recess 13 for receiving the Leaf spring 12 forms.
- the middle section 9b which adjoins the lower section 9a at the top, then forms the connection between the lower section 9a and the actuating section 10 by means of extensions which serve as structuring, which in turn to a certain extent forms an upper section of the locking block 9.
- These different portions 9a, 9b, 10 may be formed of the same or different materials, wherein in the case of different materials for the protruding from the handle head 2 actuating portion 10, a softer material is suitable than for the sunken in the recess 8 of the handle head 2 sections 9a , 9b of the locking block 9a, 9b.
- the locking block 9 may also be formed in one piece, wherein the actuating portion 10 is formed either as the uppermost portion of the locking block 9 or formed on the locking block or attached.
- the holding mandrel 4 has a flattening 4b on the side facing the hand side H in cross-section.
- the retaining mandrel is D-shaped, with the straight portion facing the side of the hand.
- This embodiment of the cross-sectional shape of the retaining pin can be used to a rotation of the loop or eyelet 24 which in the FIGS. 1a and b at the lower end of the slot is shown schematically (once caught in the restricted area 7 in FIG. 1a , and once not caught and to some extent prepared for execution from the slot in FIG. 1b ) to avoid or even completely prevent.
- This, by this loop or eyelet 24 is also somewhat D-shaped and so the two straight areas can come into contact and can prevent rotation.
- Such a design of the loop or eyelet on the hand-held device can be easily realized by the attachment area of the loop or eyelet is rigid and flat, which may be ensured, for example, may already be alone due to the attachment, but also supported by additional plastic elements or strips can.
- the axis 25 of the retaining pin 4 may be arranged parallel to the stock handle longitudinal axis S. As in FIG. 1b however, and this is the preferred construction for certain applications, may be the axis 25 of the retaining mandrel 4 also slightly inclined to the rear, at an angle ⁇ , in the illustration according to FIG. 1b running counterclockwise positive. This slight inclination to the rear, which is typically in the range of about 10 °, leads to a better introduction of force, especially during sporting use.
- FIGs 8-14 A second preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown.
- This stick handle 1 which is particularly suitable, inter alia, for biathlon, is formed by the locking mechanism ago equal to the previously described and in the Figures 1-7b illustrated pole handle. Accordingly, the same reference numerals have been selected for the same elements.
- the second embodiment differs from the first substantially only in the embodiment of the actuating portion 10.
- the actuating portion 10 has in the second preferred embodiment of Figures 8-14 In addition to the extension 10c in the rear grip head region 2a, there is also an extension 10d in the front grip head region 2b.
- the actuation region 10 is realized on its upper side by a straight section 10a which adjoins the rear extension 10c in the direction of travel L and has a length a in the range of 1.5-3.5 cm, particularly preferably 2-3 cm, and in a curve downwards front end 10b leaking.
- the supernatant beyond the grip head 2 is 1-2.5 cm.
- the lower edge 23 of the front extension 10d has in the front grip portion 2b, also partially on the underside of the top straight portion 10a, an arcuate portion of a circle K2 radius r2, wherein the circumference of the circle K2 at least the circumference of an index finger of a user's hand equivalent.
- the front extension 10d therefore serves as a "catch nose" for the index finger of a user hand, which has only loosely embraced the pole grip and then slide down through the palm of his hand down until the index finger finds a stop on the catch nose and thus the hand has reached the right position for the coupling of the hand-held device on the pole grip.
- the user can snaps the loop, ring or eye-shaped device in a sense "blind”.
- the user can actuate the triggering mechanism axially upward by applying pressure, and not only with the thumb by rotating the actuating portion 10 on its upper side.
- the front extension 10d has material recesses or recesses 22 on its sides and on the upper side.
