Claims (5)
- Moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) pour une utilisation dans une machine de coulée continue, ledit moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) comprenant :une structure tubulaire qui comprend une pluralité de structures de paroi, dans lequel chacune des faces extérieures des structures de paroi est configurée pour présenter une épaisseur réduite située au centre entre les coins des structures de paroi de manière à fournir une rigidité à la structure tubulaire pour supporter des charges thermiques pendant un procédé de coulée continue,dans lequel les faces intérieures (8, 48) définissent un rectangle, etdans lequel les faces extérieures (10, 20, 26, 32, 50) sont définies par une configuration concave,dans lequel la configuration concave (10, 20, 26, 32, 50) est définie par un arc unique ayant un rayon défini R,caractérisé en ce que la configuration concave est appliquée sur une région sélective (58) sur la longueur du moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56), la région sélective (58) ne comprenant qu'une zone de ménisque (60) du moule.
- Moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la structure tubulaire comprend du cuivre.
- Moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les structures de paroi comprennent des structures de plaques (40-46).
- Moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la structure tubulaire est formée par extrusion de cuivre ou par hydroformage.
- Procédé de production d'un moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la structure tubulaire du moule (2, 18, 24, 30, 56) est formée par extrusion de cuivre ou par hydroformage.
