Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller shutter box placed on a frame, namely a window or door frame, in a building with a building wall according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention further relates to an adapter strip designed for use in the roller shutter box according to claim 12.
- roller shutter boxes and combinations of roller shutter boxes and frames in which a static part is used to increase the stability of the connection between the roller shutter box and frame are known.
- the static part can be arranged passing through the roller shutter box and can also be fastened to a building wall, for example screw fastened. With an insertion section, the static part engages in a rear grip formation of the adapter strip connecting the frame to the roller shutter box.
- the EP 2 636 839 A2 referred.
- the arrangement and design of an adapter strip is also, for example, from EP 1 710 388 B1 known.
- a roller shutter box placed on a frame is known, in which an adapter strip is provided which has a rear handle and the static part has an insertion section directed towards the room, the rear handle being open to the outside.
- the invention is concerned with the task of specifying an advantageous arrangement of a roller shutter box placed on a frame using the adapter strip.
- the base part is plug-connected to the adapter strip.
- the roller shutter box Via the adapter strip, the roller shutter box is plug-connected to the associated frame, sitting on it, by means of a static part which has an insertion section directed towards the room.
- the adapter strip for use in such a roller shutter box, it is intended that the adapter strip is designed to run symmetrically to a longitudinal central axis, so that it can be installed in two positions rotated by 180 degrees in a horizontal plane and fixed on the frame.
- the weight of the door or window alone can result in a load on the static part in the sense of a lowering via the adapter strip.
- the insertion rear grip can even increase, essentially in the sense that the insertion section of the static part can optionally be further in the insertion direction, ie, essentially in the direction of the rear grip. is burdened.
- the arrangement can, as is also preferred, be selected such that, with a corresponding lowering load, the insertion section is loaded essentially about a temporary pivot axis which may arise in the longitudinal direction of the adapter strip.
- Another proposed solution which can also be seen in combination with the previously described solution approach, provides, particularly in the case of frames that extend freely over a relatively long distance, for example frames of large window fronts or frames of sliding doors, that the frame extends over its length at least a first and a second static part cooperates, the first static part being connected to the room side relative to a longitudinal axis of the frame and the second static part being connected to the building wall on the outside.
- the alternating arrangement counteracts twisting of the frame over its length.
- the stop formation on the adapter strip can provide a stop for an insertion section, for example a static part, inserted into the facing rear handle.
- an insertion section for example a static part
- the sliding displacement of an insertion section inserted into the rear grip can be dimensionally limited, if necessary even almost completely prevented, that a cancellation of the insertion rear grip is prevented solely by a linear displacement of the insertion section.
- the insertion section of the static part can be pivoted into the adapter strip by pivoting about a pivot axis given in the longitudinal direction of the adapter strip. This can result in a temporary pivot axis running in the longitudinal direction of the adapter strip. This can be located outside the adapter strip, but, as preferred, inside the roller shutter box.
- the inserted insertion section can cooperate at its end opposite an insertion end with a stop formed on the adapter strip.
- displacement in particular of the insertion section of the static part, can be prevented essentially in the transverse direction to the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip.
- the insertion rear grip can be prevented from being canceled by the insertion section slipping out of the rear grip on the adapter strip side.
- a cancellation of the insertion rear grip can only be achieved, for example, by pivoting the insertion section out about the pivot axis in a direction opposite to the pivoting direction.
- the frame may have a vertical centerline relative to a cross section.
- the insertion section and the attachment of the static part to the building wall can be designed on the room side of the center line. This can further advantageously result in a load on the static part in the event of a possible lowering load through the frame essentially in the direction of the insertion rear grip. This also makes the rear grip insertion position corresponding maintained and, if necessary, even given greater support. A lowering load via the frame and the adapter part is thus converted into a tendentious pivoting load on the static part towards the insertion-behind grip position to the adapter bar.
- the preferred arrangement of the insertion section and the attachment of the static part to the building wall on the room side of the center line results in a lever arm that promotes this effect.
- the insertion section can, as is also preferred, be designed to be non-rotatable with the static part.
- a rigid design of the insertion section with the static part is preferred.
- the static part can also have an upper part and a lower part, which are connected to one another in a telescopic manner, for example, with the lower part having an underside which extends essentially along the bottom part of the roller shutter box.
- the lower part is preferably suitable for connection to the adapter strip.
- the upper part which can optionally be moved telescopically to the lower part and can be fixed in a telescopic position, continues to pass through the roller shutter box in the assigned position in a preferred embodiment, more preferably for the end-side enforcement of the roller shutter box and attachment to the assigned building wall, for example building ceiling.
- the plug-in part can be designed to be rigidly connected to the lower part and, if necessary, in one piece and further, if necessary, material-uniform design.
- the lower part with the insertion section formed therein can be a bent sheet steel part.
- the adapter strip can have a second rear grip, which is designed to be directed towards the room and in which a first latching section of the base part is accommodated.
- the second rear grip opens towards the first rear grip. Accordingly, the openings of both rear grips are directed towards one another in a possible embodiment.
- the two rear grips can extend in a common plane extending in the longitudinal direction of the adapter strip or in a family of planes lying one above the other perpendicular to the longitudinal extent.
- the rear handles can also be designed the same with regard to their opening cross section viewed perpendicular to the longitudinal extent.
- the second rear handle accommodates a first latching section of the base part in order to establish a plug-in connection between the roller shutter box base part and the adapter strip.
- a second latching section can also be accommodated on the base part, which in a possible embodiment rests against a free end of the first rear grip in a displacement-blocking manner against an insertion direction of the first latching section.
- the first rear grip of the adapter strip can optionally be gripped over by the base part on both the top and bottom sides.
- the section of the adapter strip forming the first rear grip can lie in, for example, a U-shaped receptacle of the roller shutter box base part with respect to a cross section viewed transversely to the longitudinal extent.
- the relevant U-legs of this over-grip section of the base part can flank the rear-grip design of the adapter strip in a shape-stabilizing manner.
- first and second static parts are arranged alternately over the length of the frame, these can optionally interact with separate adapter strips connected to the frame.
- first and second structural parts are connected to the frame via the same adapter strip.
- the adapter bar preferably has corresponding receptacles or rear grips for this purpose.
- Such an adapter strip can be designed in one piece, preferably extending over the entire length of the frame, for interaction with the first and/or second static part.
- the stop formation is provided centrally in relation to a width of the adapter strip.
- the stop formation can be formed in one piece and of the same material with the adapter strip, further for example in the case of a bent sheet metal part by a corresponding bulging or folding in the central region.
- the stop formation can alternatively also be provided by a screw connection, or alternatively also by forming a locking part, which may only be inserted during installation.
- One or both rear handles can have a hook-shaped design in cross section, with the hook-shaped shape extending freely at one end in relation to a cross section and at the other end merging into a bottom section of the adapter strip which, in the use position, extends essentially parallel to the bottom part of the roller shutter box.
- the stop formation can also be formed with an essentially perpendicular extension to the base section. The stop formation can also have a supporting effect on the roller shutter box base part in the position of use.
- the hook-shaped cross-sectional design of one or both rear handles can also be given in such a way that a funnel-shaped opening widens in the direction of the opposite rear handle.
- an underside of the funnel-shaped opening runs parallel to an underside of the adapter strip, or possibly parallel to a bottom section of the adapter strip.
- the legs of the rear grip delimiting the opening in cross section can form an acute angle to one another, in particular an acute angle of, for example, 10 to 20 degrees, further, for example, about 15 degrees.
- the shape of the adapter strip that forms the rear grip can also have a height offset compared to an underside of the adapter strip.
- This height offset can be based on the material thickness of the adapter strip, for example the material thickness in the floor area.
- a corresponding offset dimension of a rear grip base to the base of the adapter part can also correspond to the material thickness in the base area. In addition, for example 0.5 to 2 times the material thickness.
- the adapter strip is designed to run symmetrically to a longitudinal center plane of the adapter strip.
- the adapter strip can thus be installed in two positions rotated by 180 degrees in the horizontal plane and fixed on the frame.
- the rear handle assigned to the outside can also be used, if necessary additionally, for the plug-in arrangement of a static part insertion section.
- the adapter strip can, as preferred, be formed symmetrically, in particular when viewed transversely to its longitudinal extent, correspondingly longitudinally symmetrical overall, so that it can cooperate both with a first static part assigned to the room side and with a static part assigned to the outside. As a result of this longitudinally symmetrical design of the adapter strip, it cannot be arranged incorrectly with regard to the outside and room side.
- the formations forming the rear grips, as well as the stop formation can open into a common plane, preferably parallel to an underside of the adapter strip and perpendicularly spaced therefrom.
- a roller shutter box 1 which in the illustrated embodiment is placed on a frame 2 of a door 3 and / or a window 4.
- roller shutter box 1 is essentially composed of a base part 6, side parts 7 and a ceiling 8.
- the roller shutter box 1 sits on the frame 2 using an adapter strip 9.
- the roller shutter box 1 can be pushed onto the frame 2 or onto the adapter strip 9 during assembly from the (later) room side R in the direction of the (later) outside A.
- the adapter strip 9 extends into a common horizontal plane with respect to a vertical projection within the frame cross-section, protrudes accordingly with reference to a cross-sectional representation Figure 3 In a preferred embodiment, it does not extend laterally beyond the frame 2.
- the adapter strip 9 lies on the end face of the frame 2, which points vertically upwards when installed, and is further preferably fastened to the frame 2 in this position, for example by means of screws 10 screwed into the frame 2 at suitable intervals along the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip 9.
- the adapter strip 9 can be in the form of a bent sheet metal part, initially essentially having a plate-like bottom section 11, which in the installed state runs essentially in the same direction as an upper side of the frame 2, more preferably essentially in a horizontal plane.
- first rear grip 12 and a second rear grip 13 at each end of the base section 11.
- the formation forming the first rear grip 12 faces the side of the room R when installed and in use, while the formation for forming the second rear grip 13 faces the outside A accordingly .
- Both rear handles 12 and 13 have a cross-section that is essentially hook-shaped, with each shape extending in the opposite direction starting from the bottom section 11 while passing through a turning section, thus essentially pointing towards the opposite rear handle and running out freely.
- each opening 14 viewed transversely to the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip 9 - measured in a parallel plane to the underside 15 of the bottom section 11 - can be approximately 5 to 10 times, for example something 7 or 8 times, the perpendicular to the Extension of the bottom section 11 correspond to the measured thickness d of the bottom section 11.
- the adapter strip 9 can be provided with an at least approximately constant thickness d.
- the free height h viewed perpendicular to the plane extension of the bottom section 11, between the top of the bottom section 11 or the bottom 16 and the edge of the leg 17 delimiting the opening 14 can be approximately 3 to 5 times, for example approximately 4 times the thickness d correspond.
- the bottom section 11 can have a height offset compared to the underside 15.
- the height offset is given over a dimension which can approximately correspond to the thickness dimension d.
- the height-offset section 18 extends in a direction transverse to the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip 9 over a dimension a, which is approximately 4 to 6 times, further approximately 5 times. times the material thickness d can correspond.
- the height offset also results in a step-like increase in the opening cross-sectional area in the area of the opening 14 with respect to the bottom section 11.
- the adapter strip 9 can be shaped symmetrically according to the exemplary embodiment shown (cf Figure 5 ).
- a line stop formation 20 is provided, which essentially extends from the bottom section 11, as do the formations for forming the rear grips 12 and 13, away from the underside 15.
- the stop formation 20 preferably extends in cross section perpendicular to the plane extension of the bottom section 11.
- the stop formation 20 is provided by a folding of the strip material, in particular the bottom section 11, in the area of the longitudinal center plane L.
- the legs 17 of the rear grip formations which protrude freely upwards when in use, open into a plane E which preferably runs parallel to the underside 15 of the base section 11.
- the stop formation 20 preferably also opens into this plane E.
- the roller shutter box 1 can be plugged into the adapter strip 9 via its base part 6 and is accordingly connected to the frame 2 via the adapter strip 9.
- the base part 6 initially has a pocket-like recess 21 which is open downwards towards the frame 2 and in which in the plug connection position according to Figures 2 and 3 the adapter strip 9 is inserted.
- the height of the recess 21 viewed in the vertical direction in the use position essentially corresponds to the total height of the adapter strip 9 viewed in the same direction along the longitudinal center plane L.
- hook-shaped locking section 23 directed towards the outside A is formed. In the plug-in fastening position, this supports the facing leg 17 of the outer, second rear grip 13, thereby dipping into the corresponding opening 14 of the rear grip 13. The locking section 23 can come into contact with the facing lower surface of the leg 17.
- the base part ceiling 22 preferably extends in a parallel orientation to the base section 11 of the adapter strip 9, in this case optionally, as is also preferred, with support on the stop formation 20.
- the floor part ceiling 22 extends beyond the shape of the first rear grip 12, with a downwardly projecting second locking section 24 also associated with the floor part ceiling 22 blocking a displacement of the roller shutter box 1 transversely to the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip 9 and the roller shutter box 1 the facing free end of the leg 17 of the first rear grip 12 rests (see Figure 3).
- the second locking section 24 projects into the area of the recess 21 in the manner of a stop lug.
- the bottom section 11 can be supported on both sides of the recess 21 directly on the top of the frame 2.
- the base part 6 in the illustrated embodiment engages over the facing first rear handle 12 on both the top and bottom sides.
- the overlap is provided on the upper side by the base part ceiling 22.
- a collar 25 extends which is formed essentially as an extension of the underside of the base part and, in the exemplary embodiment shown, as is also preferred, runs parallel to the base part ceiling 22. This collar dips into the above-described retraction opening 19 below the first rear grip 12.
- the underside of the collar 25 can, as is also preferred, run into the underside 15 of the adapter strip 9 in an imaginary extension.
- a static part 26 can be provided.
- This consists in detail in: Essentially consisting of an upper part 27 and a lower part 28.
- Upper part 27 and lower part 28 can, as is also preferred, be manufactured as bent sheet steel parts.
- the upper part 27 and the lower part 28 are connected to one another by connecting screws 29.
- the connecting screws 29 pass through correspondingly positioned holes in the area of the lower part 28 and a slot-shaped elongated hole opening 30 in an overlap area of the upper part 27 to the lower part 28. This makes a telescopic adjustment possible due to a relative displacement from the upper part 27 to the lower part 28.
- the static part 26 preferably extends with its entire lower part 28 and with a vertical leg of the upper part 27 within the roller shutter box 1.
- a horizontal leg 31 which preferably extends outside and above the roller shutter box 1
- the static part 26 is fastened to a building wall 32 - here one Building ceiling - for example with a window lintel.
- the lower part 28 is connected to the adapter strip 9, forming a plug-in connection.
- This fixed connection preferably relates in any case to a horizontal direction, but also, as is further preferred, to a vertical direction.
- a tab-like insertion section 34 is formed in the area of a lower horizontal leg 33 formed on the lower part 28. This is preferably formed in one piece and of the same material with the lower part 28 of the static part 26, and is accordingly preferably rigidly connected to it. From here In a further preferred embodiment, there is a rotationally fixed design of the insertion section 34 with the static part 26.
- the insertion section 34 extends freely towards the room side R.
- the lower part 28, which is first detached from the upper part 27, is pivoted into the first rear grip 12 of the adapter strip 9 while the end of the insertion section 34 facing the room side R is retracted.
- a relevant temporary pivot axis x extends in the longitudinal direction of the adapter strip 9, possibly outside the lower part 28, but preferably inside the roller shutter box 1 (see Figure 4 ). Accordingly, this temporary pivot axis x appears with reference to a cross-sectional representation, for example according to Figure 4 point-like.
- the lower part 28 is connected to the upper part 27 using the connecting screws 29.
- a leverage effect can be achieved according to the above-described design and arrangement, which also supports a suspension effect of the frame 2 on the static part 26 in cooperation with the stop formation 20 to prevent a transverse displacement of the insertion section 34 .
- Tensile forces acting essentially vertically downwards via the frame 2 on the adapter strip 9 do not lead to a cancellation of the plug-in connection between the static part 26 and the adapter strip 9. Rather, the insertion position is supported by the given leverage. Forces that act essentially in the horizontal direction, for example wind forces from the outside A, are at the same time absorbed in a favorable manner and can be dissipated into the building wall 32 via the static part 26.
- a plurality of static parts 26, 35 can be provided over the length W of the frame 2 and / or the roller shutter box 1.
- a first static part 26 is arranged facing the room side R, with a given insertion connection of the insertion section 34 of the static part 26 with the first rear grip 12 of the adapter strip 9 on the room side.
- a second static part 35 which is arranged at a distance from the first static part 26 in the longitudinal direction W, is arranged facing the outside A.
- the static part 35 can essentially be designed in the same way as the first static part 26, in particular with regard to the lower part 28.
- the static part 35 is attached to the building wall 32, here a ceiling or window lintel, via the upper part 27.
- a horizontal leg 31 extending above the roller shutter box 1 serves for fastening.
- the static part 35 is in a plug-in connection with the same adapter strip 9, but here with the second rear handle 13 facing the outside A (compare Figures 8 and 9 ).
- such a second static part 35 can extend in particular in the area of a so-called double head piece 36, which forms head parts for the roller shutter boxes 1 arranged one behind the other in the longitudinal direction W and also offers a connection between the two roller shutter boxes 1 connected in series.
- such a static part 35 facing the outside A can also consist entirely of a bent sheet metal part, having a base leg 37 which runs approximately parallel to the insertion section 34 and which extends above the base part 6 in the insertion position. From this base leg 37 goes at right angles and in In the usual position of use, a support leg 38 is directed vertically upwards, which here also merges into a horizontal leg 31 which, in the installation situation, preferably extends above the roller shutter box ceiling 8. In the assembly position, the latter is penetrated by screws 39 for fastening the static part 35 to the building wall 32.
- the static part 35 assigned to the outside A can also interact with the first rear grip 12 assigned to the room side R.
- the adapter strip 9 is preferably designed to be longitudinally symmetrical. There is no concrete outside or room side. The arrangement of the adapter strip 9 on the frame 2 is simplified.
- the stop formation 20 can initially be approximately hat-shaped in cross-section, and also U-shaped with a U-opening pointing in the direction of the frame 2.
- This stop formation 20 can also be achieved by appropriately deforming the adapter strip material.
- Two stop formations 20 arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal center plane L can also be provided. Each rear grip 12 or 13 is assigned a stop formation 20. Both stop formations 20 are spaced apart from one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal extent of the adapter strip 9 by a distance that is approximately 0.3 to 0.7 times, further approximately 0.5 times the total width of the adapter strip 9 viewed in the same direction can correspond.
