Definitions
- the present invention relates to a user device for at least one vacuum device and to a vacuum arrangement equipped with such a user device.
- Vacuum devices are typically operated via user devices, which can be designed as display and control devices.
- Such display and control devices are typically designed for the connection of only one specific vacuum device type.
- a display and control device can be designed for the connection of a specific vacuum pump or a specific gauge.
- conventional display and control devices offer only limited and fixed display options. Depending on the specific system configuration, this can result in significant operating effort or even considerable equipment complexity.
- US 2003/014160 A1 is dedicated to networks of pumps that can be controlled via a web interface with various predefined functional views.
- EP 2 573 403 A1 discloses a pump for a heating system. The pump has a control device with a display that can display user applications available from the Internet.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a user device for at least one vacuum device which has an increased This ensures flexibility of use and a reduction in the technical complexity of operating vacuum devices.
- the task also involves specifying a vacuum arrangement with such a user device.
- a vacuum arrangement according to the invention is the subject of claim 11.
- a user device is designed for use with at least one vacuum device.
- the user device is designed to display vacuum device-specific content and/or is configured for user-side operation of a vacuum device connected to the user device.
- Such a user device can thus be a display and/or operating device.
- a vacuum device in question here can be, in particular, a vacuum pump, a vacuum measuring device, a vacuum analysis device, a leak detector, and/or a vacuum valve.
- a vacuum device can also be a vacuum chamber device.
- a vacuum pump can advantageously be designed as a turbomolecular pump.
- a vacuum pump can be a backing pump, in particular for a vacuum pump arrangement that also includes a turbomolecular pump.
- a user device comprises at least one central unit for user interaction with at least one vacuum device and at least one interface for establishing a data connection between the central unit and a vacuum device.
- the central unit is provided with a display and/or input device for displaying at least one functional view with at least one functional object.
- the at least one functional view is configurable without programming.
- programming-free here means that any configurations can be made without accessing or modifying the source code. Therefore, separate programming through adaptation or reformulation of source code is not required with programming-free configurability.
- the flexibility of use of the user device is improved by the programming-free configurability of at least one functional view.
- the operating effort or the technical complexity of the device for different application conditions can be reduced in this way.
- the at least one functional view can be fully and/or partially configurable by programming-free new creation and/or by programming-free adaptation of an existing functional view.
- the configurability accordingly relates to a portion of the functional view or to the entire functional view.
- the ability to configure the entire functional view without programming allows for a particularly high degree of flexibility in use.
- the ability to partially configure the functional view can reduce the user effort required to configure the user device for the specific application or prevent the removal of safety-relevant functional elements.
- parts of the functional view can be fixed or predefined, allowing, for example, user assistance or safety-relevant functional elements to be constantly available.
- the type of the respective functional object can, for example, be a text display, graphic display, indicator, button, controller and/or graph.
- the position, shape or size of a functional object can, for example, be temporarily changed; in particular, a temporary magnification to a maximum display can occur, which can achieve a special signaling effect or particularly good legibility for a user.
- the display type of a functional object can relate to a text form, a symbol form or the alignment of text and symbol displays.
- the display type can also include constant and/or dynamic displays. For example, foreground or background colors or color adjustments can be predefined depending on predefined conditions, such as parameter threshold values.
- the function objects are linked and/or linkable to data objects in the same way as the function views, in particular permanently, automatically, and/or manually.
- Data objects as data sources and/or data sinks can be present both in connected vacuum devices, for example, as the actual pressure value of a gauge, and/or in parts of the user device, for example, in or at a digital output in an expansion module.
- Graphic properties of the function object such as size, position, foreground/background color, shape, text, icons, or the like, can be statically defined or determinable, or can be defined or determinable by one or more conditions.
- the functional view can be configured in a context-specific manner, namely depending on a recognized device and/or system configuration.
- the central unit can first perform a recognition process for the respective device and/or system configuration.
- a programming-free configuration of at least one functional view is then performed. Since the configuration is carried out depending on a device and/or system configuration, it is a context-specific configuration.
- the central unit is set up for the automated configuration of the at least one functional view depending on a recognized device and/or system configuration. Accordingly, a recognized device and/or system configuration automatically triggers a configuration of the functional view.
- At least one interface of the central unit can be designed as a so-called default interface, via which initial programming or configuration of the central unit can be performed, in particular by connecting it to an external computer.
- the central unit can also have one or more interfaces for establishing a data connection with a vacuum device.
- the central unit can be expanded by at least one expansion module, preferably by a plurality of expansion modules.
- an expansion module allows the functionality of the central unit to be designed flexibly and according to user requirements.
- a respective device configuration can be determined by arranging and/or omitting at least one expansion module.
- a device configuration can be determined by the type of expansion module and/or the number of expansion modules. The device configuration thus relates to the combination of the central unit and any expansion modules present.
- At least one expansion module can be a module for inputting, recording, and/or outputting digital and/or analog signals.
- a signal module can be used, for example, to measure environmental parameters and/or technical operating parameters, such as pressure in a medium to be conveyed.
- At least one expansion module can be designed as a power supply module, in particular for supplying current and/or voltage to the central unit, a vacuum device connected to the central unit, and/or an additionally provided expansion module.
- a power supply module thus supplies the central unit, a vacuum device, and/or another expansion module with current or voltage.
- a single power supply module or multiple power supply modules can be provided. If a single power supply module is provided, this can be configured to supply power or voltage to the central unit. Furthermore, the power supply module can indirectly ensure a power or voltage supply to connected vacuum devices or additional expansion modules via the central unit. This applies in particular if the connected vacuum devices or additional expansion modules have only a low power or voltage requirement. Likewise, a plurality of power supply modules can be provided, with each of the power supply modules supplying different units. One of the power supply modules can be provided to supply power and/or voltage to the central unit, and another power supply module can be provided to supply power and/or voltage to a connected vacuum device. Finally, it is also possible for at least one power supply module to be arranged externally, for example, as part of a connected vacuum device. An external power supply module can, in turn, be arranged to supply power or voltage to the central unit and/or an expansion module.
- the at least one functional object is linked to, or configured to be linked to, a data object of the central unit, an expansion module, and/or a vacuum device having a data connection with the central unit.
- a functional object provided in the functional view can thus be generated based on data from the central unit, an expansion module, and/or a vacuum device, or can be permanently linked for ongoing updating. This ensures suitable access by a user to data objects of the central unit, any expansion module provided, or a connected vacuum device.
- the display and/or input device of the central unit is configured to display a plurality of functional views and/or different functional views.
- the different functional views can be configured without programming according to different criteria. It is also possible for at least one functional view and/or at least one functional object of a functional view to be predefined or predetermined.
- the central unit can be configured to display a configuration view.
- the operating mode of the central unit itself can be set via such a configuration view.
- Such a configuration view can therefore be a temporary view used to set or configure the central unit.
- the configuration view can be used to configure or generate a functional view without programming.
- a further aspect of the present invention relates to a vacuum arrangement with a user device as described above and at least one vacuum device which is in data communication with the central unit of the user device via the interface of the user device.
- Such a vacuum arrangement can be configured or assembled particularly easily, and the respective user device can be set up or adapted to the respective configuration of the vacuum arrangement with minimal effort. This simplifies operation of the entire application. No intervention in the source code of the user device's central unit is required for setup.
- a user device as described above may be suitable for operation with vacuum devices and/or general equipment or components of the respective application or vacuum arrangement.
- a display such as a warning lamp, can be controlled via a relay and/or digital output of an expansion module.
- the central unit 16 may further comprise an internal storage device 44 on which operating software or other data may be stored.
- operating software may, in particular, be a computer program product.
- the central unit 16 has a display and/or input device 46 for displaying at least one functional view 48.
- the functional view 48 in turn has at least one functional object 50 or a plurality of functional objects 50.
