Definitions
- Individual isolation systems are used, for example, in the context of major events. They are used to isolate groups of people, for example to be able to check them before they enter events. Such person and/bag checks are carried out by security personnel in the person separation system or in the direction of passage behind it.
- the event location is cordoned off by fences which have individual narrow-width entrances through which only a single person can pass at a time.
- turnstiles are usually located in the passageways. They can either be released manually by the security personnel on site or there can be readers for admission tickets in the access area, for example, which can be used to release the turnstiles.
- the object of the present invention is to create a people isolation system which, on the one hand, achieves reliable isolation of people for access to an event location and, on the other hand, can provide an escape route of sufficient width if required. It is essential that the personal isolation system meets the legal requirements with regard to the access of people to events, but also with regard to the requirements for escape routes.
- the operation of the person isolation system should be as simple as possible and should be able to be carried out with a low risk of error. At the same time, it should function reliably over the long term and be insensitive to dirt and moisture.
- the structure should be as simple as possible and the requirements for maintenance and repair should be as low as possible.
- the person isolation system according to the invention can be converted into at least two states. On the one hand, it can be used to isolate people, as is necessary in particular when entering an event. On the other hand, it can be converted into a second state in that it has a passage that is sufficiently wide for the exit situation and, in particular, also for escape situations. It is essential that the person isolation system is nevertheless robust and simple in design and that the transfer from the first position (entrance situation) to the second position (exit situation) can be carried out quickly, easily and reliably.
- a person isolation system in the simplest basic design, has two lateral delimiting elements between which there is a passage. In the first position, this passage is divided into two parallel aisles by a central element. These corridors have a width of about 40-60 cm, so that people can only go through them individually.
- the middle element is mounted in the floor area on a guide element aligned transversely to the lateral delimiting elements or transversely to the direction of passage and can be moved along this guide element from the first position to the second position.
- the central element can therefore be moved out of the passage laterally in the direction of one of the two lateral delimiting elements, so that the entire passage is then released.
- the middle element can be held and/or locked in the respective position with suitable holding elements.
- the holding elements can be implemented by a brake that acts on the central element and can be released, for example, by means of a handle.
- locking can also take place with a bolt that can be inserted into an opening in the guide element or an adjacent component. The unlocking of the central element then takes place simply by pulling the bolt out of the opening, so that the central element can then be moved.
- the guide element is located within or below a walk-on base plate, on which the people walk through the people isolation system. If the guide element is located below a floor panel that can be walked on, the central element extends with a vertical section through a guide opening in the floor panel up to the guide element. The elongate guide opening is arranged above the guide element, so that the central element can be moved.
- An essential advantage of the invention is that the guide opening can be extremely narrow. This is important because the person isolation system or the base plate must not form any tripping hazards. Too large openings in the base plate would be disadvantageous in this respect.
- the vertical section of the central element for example a vertical bar
- a vertical bar can be passed through the guide opening with its full diameter, but in a particularly advantageous embodiment variant it is also possible to reduce the diameter of the vertical bar in the area of the guide opening in order to make the guide opening even narrower to be able to
- a flat bar can be connected to the vertical bar on the bottom side, which is passed through the guide opening and contacts the guide element or is mounted on it.
- the guide opening is additionally protected against dirt by brush seals.
- Both the lateral delimiting elements and the central element can preferably be designed as railings, which each have two vertical bars and a horizontally running handrail connecting the vertical bars. Accordingly, the central element is then also guided on two guide elements due to the two vertical bars.
- the two lateral delimiting elements in particular can also be formed by vertically extending, full-surface side walls, to which the central element is moved in the second position, so that it is immediately adjacent these is arranged.
- a recess in the vertical wall, into which the central element can be moved into the second position, is also conceivable in this embodiment variant, so that the entire passage between the two lateral delimiting elements is then released.
- the central element can also be moved up to them from the side, so that it opens up the passage almost completely.
- the middle element is shorter in the direction of passage and is also designed lower than at least the lateral boundary where it is in the second position. As a result, the middle element can be arranged in the second position below the lateral boundary or even outside the lateral boundary in relation to the passage, so that the passage is exposed in its full width.
- the passage width between the two lateral boundary elements corresponds to the requirements for escape routes, so that additional passages for escape situations, for example in the form of openable gates, can be dispensed with.
- the person separation system can also have a roof, which is particularly advantageous for personnel working in the area of the person separation system.
- the central element can be moved from the first position into the second position and possibly also back via a drive.
- the drive can be designed as an electric drive, for example, have a toothed rack and a drive pinion.
- the drive is formed by a spring element that is tensioned in the first position of the middle element. A releasable holding element holds the central element in the first position. If the holding element is released, the spring force of the spring element drives the central element in such a way that it is moved from the first position into the second position. It is thus possible to move the central element without electrical energy, which is particularly advantageous in emergency situations and in the event of an electrical energy failure.
- the holding element can be formed, for example, by a simple hook that holds the central element in the first position against the spring force.
- the hook can be released manually, for example, by moving a lever.
- the lever can contact the middle element directly or be designed as a unit with the holding element, but Bowden cables can also be provided in order to be able to position the lever at an easily accessible point.
- the drive element can preferably also be formed by a gas pressure damper or a gas pressure spring.
- the holding elements or levers can also be designed to be actuatable via an electrical actuator, with the electrical energy preferably being provided by a battery.
- the personal isolation systems are independent of the power grid and can be reliably operated even in the event of a power failure.
- the actuation can preferably also take place via a remote control on site or even centrally from a control center of the event location, so that several or even all person isolation systems can be transferred from the first to the second position with just a single trigger command.
- the guide element can be formed by any suitable guide element.
- a guide rail on which a carriage connected to the central element is movably mounted has proven to be a particularly suitable variant.
- the carriage can be designed with rollers or without rollers. In the case of a roller bearing, the rollers are preferably arranged inside the carriage in order to be protected from dirt and moisture by the encapsulation.
- the central element can only be moved in one direction, ie in the direction of one of the two delimiting elements. Accordingly, the guide elements and the guide openings extend approximately from the middle of the passage towards and up to one of the two delimiting elements. Alternatively, it is also possible for the central element to be movable in both directions, and accordingly the guide elements and the guide opening then extend over the entire passage width of the passage.
- the central element can preferably not only be moved from a first position to a second position, but several intermediate positions can also be set. This makes it possible to change the width of the aisles formed thereby.
- a table which can be folded downwards and/or upwards can be provided on the middle element and can be swiveled out in the direction of one of the two delimiting elements or even optionally in the direction of both delimiting elements.
- the table can thus close one of the two aisles formed by the central element.
- the delimiting elements have table holding means which hold the table in the horizontal position.
- the table holding elements are formed by cross braces on which the table rests.
- the lateral delimiting elements can preferably be formed by an intermediate element that is approximately rectangular in plan view. Tables, for example, can be arranged within this rectangular intermediate element, which has a width of approximately 40 cm to 60 cm, for example.
- the free space can also be used to store rubbish bins or as a space for security personnel.
- the space within the intermediate elements is used for arranging drives for turnstiles.
- the arms of the turnstiles then extend into the aisles towards the respective center members. In an emergency or in an exit situation, the arms are folded down so that the passage is completely free again.
- a table that can preferably be folded down can be connected to the intermediate elements. This can be in the passage direction before or be placed behind the passage.
- the width of the table is less than or at most equal to the width of the intermediate element, so that it does not protrude laterally into the passage.
- holding elements when several people separation systems are arranged, their holding elements are connected to one another in such a way that several or all holding elements can be triggered by actuating a single lever. This causes all central elements to be moved out of the passage at the same time and all escape routes are released.
- the connection of the holding elements can take place mechanically, but a wireless connection via a data connection is also conceivable.
- the Figures 1-7 show a person separation system 20 that is formed from three person separation systems 22 arranged next to one another.
- the figures 1 , 2 , 5 and 7 show the person separation systems 22 in the access situation, the Figures 3 , 4 , 6 and 8th in the exit situation.
- the person isolation systems 22 each have a walk-on base plate 24 . Furthermore, two lateral delimiting elements 26 can be seen, each of which is fastened to the base plate 24 and protrudes vertically upwards. In the embodiment variants shown, the inner delimiting elements 26 of the people isolation system 20 are connected to one another.
- a passage 28 is formed between the lateral delimiting elements 26 .
- a central element 30 is arranged on the base plate 24 between the two lateral delimiting elements 26 and also extends vertically upwards, starting from the base plate 24 .
- the central element 30 can be moved from a first position, in which it is located approximately centrally between the two lateral delimiting elements 26 in the exemplary embodiments shown, into a second position. In the second position, the central element 30 is located outside of the passage 28 in the exemplary embodiments shown.
- the clear width of passage 28 is approximately 100 cm to 150 cm, preferably 120 cm.
- the clear width of the two aisles 28.1, 28.2 is accordingly about 50 cm to 60 cm.
- the height of the lateral delimiting elements 26 is approximately 80 cm to 130 cm.
- the middle element 30, on the other hand, only has a height of about 60 cm to 100 cm.
- the depth of a person isolation system 22 in the passage direction 32, represented by a double arrow, is approximately 80 cm to 120 cm, preferably 100 cm.
- the lateral delimiting elements 26 and also the central element 30 are U-shaped; they each have two vertical bars 34 which are connected to one another via a horizontally aligned handrail 36 .
- the depth or length of the handrails 36 of the two lateral boundary elements 26 corresponds approximately to the depth of the base plate 24 in the illustrated embodiment the vertical bars 34 and under the handrail 36 of the corresponding lateral boundary element 26 can be positioned.
- the corresponding lateral delimitation element 26 then surrounds the central element 30, so to speak, so that this no longer reduces the clear passage 28.
- a guide element is arranged in or under the base plate 24, on which the central element 30 is movably mounted.
- a middle element 30 is movably mounted via its two vertical bars 34 on two guide elements each.
- the guide elements extend transversely to the passage direction 28 over one of the two gears 28.1, 28.2. If the guide elements are arranged below the base plate 24, the base plate 24 has slot-like elongated guide openings 38 running parallel to the guide elements, through which the vertical bars 34 extend.
- the guide openings 38 are preferably sealed against contamination by bristle seals arranged therein.
- a person isolation system 22 according to the invention or a person isolation system 20 according to the invention can be provided in different embodiment variants.
- Is shown in the Figures 1-6 an embodiment variant in which tables 40 are arranged on the central elements 30 in each case.
- the tables 40 are pivotably mounted and, in the first position, rest on one of the lateral delimiting elements 26 or on a transverse beam arranged therein.
- the tables 40 can each be in the left aisle 28.1 or in the be arranged right aisle 28.2, but they can also remain folded down so that both gears 28.1 and 28.2 remain free.
- the lateral delimiting elements 26 of the person separation systems 22 have approximately rectangular, circumferential handrails 36 .
- a free space is thus formed within the handrails 36 which can be used in different ways.
- drives 42 for turnstiles 44 are arranged there, the arms 46 of which reach into the aisles 28.1 and 28.2.
- the aisles 28.1, 28.2 can thus be blocked by the turnstiles 44 or their arms 46.
- 26 dustbins 48 are arranged within the boundary elements.
- the delimiting elements 26 have foldable tables 40 which are no wider than the delimiting elements 26 and therefore do not protrude into the passages 28 .
- FIG 8 makes it clear that the arms 46 of the turnstiles 44 are designed to be foldable, so that they do not protrude into the passage 28 in the second position of the central element 30 and release the escape route.
- the turnstiles 44 and the arms 46 have dimensions that do not prevent the central element 30 from moving into the second position.
- the figures also show a lever 50, via which holding elements (not shown) can be triggered, which hold the central elements 30 in the first position against a spring force of the spring elements. If the lever 50 is actuated, the holding elements release the central elements 30 so that they automatically move into the second position.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown, but also includes further variants of the invention.
- further elements can be arranged on the lateral delimiting elements 26 .
- Devices for the automatic control of access authorizations are conceivable, for example.
