Even if these tanks are insulated, some evaporation of the LNG will inevitably take place and form so-called boil-off gas. This boil-off gas increases the pressure in the tanks and must be discharged from the tanks for the sake of safety.
- the boil-off gas removed from the tanks may be re-liquefied and returned to the tanks, used as fuel onboard the LNG carriers, or combusted by means of the gas combustion units.

Claims (15)
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) pour une unité à combustion de fluide (1) comprenant un corps (11) qui à son tour comprend un tube creux (13) destiné à convoyer un fluide à mettre en combustion dans une chambre de combustion (5) et un obturateur (15) qui ferme au moins partiellement une extrémité supérieure (25) du tube (13), le tube (13) comprenant en outre une extrémité inférieure (19) destinée à recevoir le fluide dans le tube (13), une paroi (17) du tube (13) comprenant une pluralité de rangées (29) de trous (27), lesquelles rangées (29) s'étendent autour d'un axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9), une rangée la plus haute (29a) de trous (27) étant la rangée de trous (27) agencée le plus près de l'obturateur (15), dans laquelle les trous (27) permettent un flux du fluide à mettre en combustion d'un intérieur (49) à un extérieur (51) du tube (13), la tête de brûleur de fluide (9) étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend en outre une première saillie annulaire (39) s'étendant autour de l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9) et faisant saillie de manière oblique d'une surface externe (43) du corps (11) et à l'écart de l'extrémité inférieure (19) du tube (13), au-dessus de la rangée la plus haute (29a) de trous (27) du tube (13), avec un angle α par rapport à l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9), dans laquelle 0 < α < 90 degrés.
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle le tube (13) et l'obturateur (15) sont formés séparément.
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'obturateur (15) et le tube (13) sont faits de matériaux différents.
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la première saillie (39) fait saillie à partir de la surface externe (43) du corps (11) au niveau d'une limite (45) entre le tube (13) et l'obturateur (15).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le tube (13) et la première saillie (39) sont formés séparément.
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle une portion supérieure (23) du tube (13) comprenant lesdits trous (27) présente une section transversale sensiblement uniforme le long de l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre un support annulaire (37) s'étendant autour de l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9), lequel support (37) est connecté à la première saillie (39) et entre en prise avec le corps (11) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9) pour fixer la première saillie (39) au corps (11).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, comprenant en outre une seconde saillie annulaire (41) s'étendant autour de l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9) et faisant saillie à partir de la surface externe (43) du corps (11) entre la rangée la plus haute (29a) de trous (27) du tube (13) et la première saillie (39).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon la revendication 8, dans laquelle la seconde saillie (41) fait saillie à partir d'une surface externe (47) du tube (13).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 9, comprenant en outre un support annulaire (37) s'étendant autour de l'axe central longitudinal (C) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9), lequel support (37) est connecté aux première et seconde saillies (39, 41) et entre en prise avec le corps (11) de la tête de brûleur de fluide (9) pour fixer les première et seconde saillies (39, 41) au corps (11).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 7 ou 10, dans laquelle le support (37) est serré entre l'obturateur (15) et le tube (13).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle l'obturateur (15) comprend une portion supérieure (31) et une portion inférieure (33), dans laquelle la portion inférieure (33) fait saillie dans le tube (13).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon la revendication 12, dans laquelle la portion inférieure (33) comprend une partie qui s'effile dans une direction à l'écart de la portion supérieure (31) de l'obturateur (15).
- Tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 12 à 13, dans laquelle une circonférence externe de la portion supérieure (31) de l'obturateur (15) est plus grande qu'une circonférence interne du tube (13).
- Utilisation d'une tête de brûleur de fluide (9) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 14 dans une unité à combustion de fluide (1) destinée à brûler du gaz d'évaporation issu d'une soute à combustible à bord d'un navire.
