Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von Bauteilen. Genauer geht es um ein Recyclingverfahren, welches besonders geeignet ist zur Wiedergewinnung von Rohstoffen aus Batterien und Akkus, aber auch aus Starkmagneten und Brennstoffzellen. Insbesondere geht es um ein Verfahren zur Rohstoffrückgewinnung aus Bauteilen, welche zumindest Kobalt und Nickel enthalten, wobei das Verfahren folgende Schritte umfasst:
- mechanische Behandlung der Bauteile
- chemische Behandlung der Bauteile in einer Lösung, wobei die Bauteile zumindest teilweise zersetzt werden
- Behandlung der Kobalt-Ionen mit Chlorid-Ionen zur Komplexbildung
- elektrochemische Gewinnung von Kobalt aus der Lösung
- elektrochemische Gewinnung von Nickel aus der Lösung
