  • each end piece of the top casing is provided with a rack segment configured to be adjoined with the rack of the respective side rail in the mounted condition of the screening arrangement so as to form a continuous rack path for the cogwheel of the first transmission means.
  • the suspension elements present in the prior art arrangements may be dispensed with. This provides for a facilitated assembly operation already at the factory side, since the step of setting the suspension elements in the correct position is rendered superfluous.
  • the user simply mounts the top casing including end pieces and respective rack segments in a first step, while the continuous rack path necessary to allow coherent engagement of the first and second transmission means is obtained in the subsequent mounting of the side rails including their respective rack.
  • the cogwheels of the first transmission means are thus prepared for engagement with the rack segments and the racks of the second transmission means such that screening arrangement is ready for use.
