Definitions
- Such high-pressure cleaning devices make it possible to pressurize water using a pump and to heat it using a heatable instantaneous water heater.
- the heated and pressurized water can be directed at an object to be cleaned.
- the instantaneous water heater is usually operated using a liquid fuel, such as heating oil or diesel fuel, and can have a coiled pipe that is heated by a burner and through which the water is passed.
- the liquid fuel for operating the instantaneous water heater is stored in a fuel tank.
- a control device is used to control the motor that drives the pump.
- Such high-pressure cleaning devices have a support frame as the supporting structure. This gives the high-pressure cleaning devices a high level of mechanical stability, so that they can be operated reliably even under harsh environmental conditions, such as those found on construction sites.
- a high-pressure cleaning device of the type mentioned above is known from WO 2020/052938 A1.
- the fuel tank is designed as a one-piece hollow plastic body that forms an engine mounting part into which the engine can be inserted.
- the object of the present invention is to further develop a high-pressure cleaning device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that it can be manufactured more cheaply while maintaining a high mechanical load capacity.
- a high-pressure cleaning device of the generic type in that the fuel tank is arranged laterally next to the motor pump unit and the control device is positioned on a support element arranged above the motor pump unit at a distance from the latter, which can be detachably connected to the fuel tank and to a holding part of the support frame.
- the fuel tank of the high-pressure cleaning device is designed as a component that is arranged laterally next to the motor pump unit. This simplifies the assembly of the motor pump unit and the fuel tank, whereby the fuel tank can have a relatively simple design.
- the fuel tank is detachably connected to a holding part of the support frame via a support element. This ensures in a structurally simple manner that the fuel tank does not slip accidentally.
- the support element also serves as a support for the control device, which is positioned on the support element.
- the support element is arranged above the motor pump unit and at a distance from it. This allows the thermal load on the support element and the control device positioned on the support element to be reduced by the waste heat from the motor pump unit.
- the high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention is therefore characterized overall by simple assembly and cost-effective manufacture, and it has a high mechanical load capacity. It is advantageous if the support element is designed in the form of a plate. The design of the support element in the form of a support plate gives the support element a particularly high mechanical load-bearing capacity and simplifies its assembly.
- the support element consists of metal, in particular of a sheet metal part.
- the support element has a first end section and a second end section opposite the first end section, wherein the first end section can be detachably connected to the fuel tank and the second end section can be detachably connected to the holding part.
- the support part thus extends from the fuel tank arranged laterally next to the motor pump unit across the motor pump unit to the holding part of the support frame, wherein it is detachably connected to both the fuel tank and the support frame.
- the support element can be screwed to the fuel tank and to the holding part.
- the holding part is arranged behind the motor pump unit with respect to its main direction of movement and the fuel tank is positioned laterally next to the motor pump unit in front of the motor pump unit with respect to the main direction of movement.
- the control device preferably has a control housing for accommodating at least one control element, for example a switching element.
- the control housing has a lower housing part that can be detachably connected to the support element and an upper housing part that can be detachably connected to the lower housing part. It can be provided that the upper part of the housing can be screwed or locked to the lower part of the housing.
- the support frame has a front frame section with respect to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device, wherein the fuel tank is arranged between the front frame section and the motor pump unit.
- a particularly simple assembly of the fuel tank is achieved in that the fuel tank can be inserted into the space between the front frame section of the support frame and the motor pump unit in an assembly direction oriented perpendicular to the main direction of movement.
- the fuel tank can be inserted into the space between the front frame section of the support frame and the motor pump unit, forming a positive connection.
- the fuel tank forms a positive connection with the front frame section on its front side facing the front frame section.
- the fuel tank can be easily pulled out perpendicular to the main direction of movement from the space between the front frame section of the support frame and the motor pump unit after the detachable connection between the support element and the fuel tank has been released.
- service measures can be carried out on the motor pump unit, for example an oil change.
- the front frame section of the support frame forms a front impact protection for the high-pressure cleaning device. This reduces the risk of damage, particularly to the fuel tank, in the event of an unintentional impact with an obstacle.
- the front frame section of the support frame is adjoined, opposite to the main direction of movement, by two longitudinal frame sections arranged at a distance from one another, each of which forms a longitudinal impact protection for the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the support frame has a rear frame section that is U-shaped and has two vertically aligned legs in a horizontal position of use of the high-pressure cleaning device, each of which is rigidly connected to a longitudinal frame section, as well as a web that rigidly connects the two legs to one another, with the holding part extending between the two legs and being rigidly connected to them.
- a rear frame section that is U-shaped and has two vertically aligned legs in a horizontal position of use of the high-pressure cleaning device, each of which is rigidly connected to a longitudinal frame section, as well as a web that rigidly connects the two legs to one another, with the holding part extending between the two legs and being rigidly connected to them.
- the motor pump unit, the fuel tank and the control device are arranged between the front frame section and the rear frame section of the support frame in relation to a plan view of the high-pressure cleaning device. This enables a particularly compact design of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the instantaneous water heater is conveniently arranged behind the rear frame section of the support frame with respect to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- a U-shaped handle bar is attached to the rear frame section of the support frame, opposite to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device, which surrounds the instantaneous water heater and is rigidly connected to the rear frame section of the support frame. It is advantageous if the handle bar is detachably connected to the rear frame section.
- the detachable connection can be achieved using connecting screws, for example.
- the handle bar has two bar legs, each of which is connected to a leg of the rear frame section and whose end regions facing away from the rear frame section are rigidly connected to one another via a bar web.
- the bar web can form a handle.
- the high-pressure cleaning device has a hood that at least partially covers the motor pump unit and the control device and that can be detachably connected to the holding part and an end region of the support element facing away from the holding part.
- the support element not only serves to secure the fuel tank and the control device but also to secure the hood that at least partially covers the motor pump unit and the control device. This allows particularly simple assembly of the high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention.
- the hood has an opening through which the user can access a control panel with at least one control element of the control device.
