Definitions
- the invention relates to a heatable high-pressure cleaning device with the features of the preamble of patent claim 1.
- heatable high-pressure cleaning devices water can be pressurized using a pump and heated using a heatable heat exchanger.
- the heated and pressurized water can be directed at an object to be cleaned.
- the heat exchanger is usually operated with the aid of a liquid fuel, for example heating oil or diesel fuel, and can have a coiled tube that is heated by a burner and through which the water is passed.
- the liquid fuel to operate the heat exchanger is stored in a fuel tank.
- heatable high-pressure cleaning devices are, for example, from WO 2012/119641 A2 known.
- Heated high-pressure cleaning devices of the type in question are used, among other things, on construction sites and other harsh environmental conditions and should therefore have a high level of mechanical stability.
- the high-pressure cleaning devices should be as cost-effective as possible to produce.
- a heatable high-pressure cleaning device which has a chassis on which several wheels are rotatably mounted.
- a heat exchanger and a motor are arranged on the chassis, as well as a fan and a pump that are driven by the motor.
- a fuel tank in combination with a storage tank for cleaning agent concentrate, forms a housing that encloses the heat exchanger and the other functional units of the high-pressure cleaning device on the opposite long sides and the top, whereby the Inner contour of the inner walls of the fuel tank and the storage tank for cleaning agent concentrate is adapted to the heat exchanger and the other functional units.
- the chassis has a support frame that forms impact protection that partially surrounds the fuel tank.
- the high-pressure cleaning device can be connected, for example, to a public water supply network.
- a public water supply network When connecting to a public water supply network in this way, the network operator is often required to take appropriate measures to ensure that water taken from the water supply network cannot be unintentionally returned to the water supply network. This is to ensure that the water supply network does not come into contact with potentially contaminated water.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to develop a heatable high-pressure cleaning device of the type mentioned in such a way that it has a high level of mechanical stability and can be produced inexpensively, ensuring that water taken from a water supply network cannot be unintentionally returned to the water supply network.
- the heatable high-pressure cleaning device is characterized, among other things, by the use of a fuel tank, which not only takes on the function of storing liquid fuel, but also forms the lower housing part in which the motor and the pump driven by the motor are arranged.
- the fuel tank is designed as a one-piece hollow plastic body and therefore has an internal volume for holding liquid fuel, for example for holding heating oil or diesel fuel.
- the fuel tank is designed as a seamless hollow body. This gives the fuel tank considerable mechanical stability.
- the design of the fuel tank in the form of a one-piece hollow plastic body makes it possible to produce the fuel tank cost-effectively.
- the fuel tank which is designed as a one-piece hollow plastic body, is held on a rigid support frame.
- the support frame has the function of supporting the fuel tank, on the other hand it forms a shock protection for the fuel tank, whereby it at least partially surrounds the fuel tank in the circumferential direction and thereby protects against impacts in the event of an unintentional impact on an obstacle.
- the high-pressure cleaning device has a decoupling tank which has an inlet that can be connected to a water supply network and is in flow connection with the pump. Water taken from the water supply network can first flow into the decoupling tank and then to the pump.
- the inlet of the decoupling tank is conveniently arranged at the top, so that although water can get from the water supply network into the decoupling tank, it is not possible for the water to easily get from the decoupling tank back to the water supply network.
- the fuel tank designed as a one-piece hollow plastic body has a recess which forms the decoupling tank, which has an inlet that can be connected to the water supply network and is in flow connection with the pump.
- the recess can be designed, for example, in the form of a pocket.
- the support frame completely surrounds the fuel tank in the circumferential direction.
- the support frame forms the chassis of the heatable high-pressure cleaning device.
- At least two wheels are preferably mounted on the chassis so that they can rotate about a common axis of rotation.
- At least one swivel roller is also rotatably mounted on the chassis.
- the support frame protrudes over a front and a back of the fuel tank in relation to a main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device. If the high-pressure cleaning device is moved in the main direction of movement or against the main direction of movement and it encounters an obstacle, the associated shock load is absorbed by the support frame, which protrudes over the front and back of the fuel tank.
- the heat exchanger is preferably arranged behind the fuel tank in relation to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device and the support frame protrudes above the heat exchanger in the opposite direction to the main direction of movement.
- the support frame preferably also forms shock protection for the heat exchanger in that it also at least partially surrounds the heat exchanger in the circumferential direction.
- the support frame projects transversely to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device over a first long side and a second long side of the fuel tank. This ensures that even if the high-pressure cleaning device hits an obstacle from the side, the associated mechanical load is absorbed by the support frame.
- the support frame has two rigid side frame parts, which are on opposite long sides of the Fuel tanks are arranged.
- the rigid side frame parts give the support frame a particularly high level of mechanical stability and protect the fuel tank from mechanical loads that act on the high-pressure cleaning device in the area of the long sides of the fuel tank.
- the side frame parts are preferably each designed as self-contained support frame side sections.
- the self-contained design of the support frame side sections gives the support frame a particularly high level of mechanical stability in the area of the side frame parts.
- the self-contained support frame side sections can, for example, extend along the entire circumference of a preferably flat geometric figure, in particular along the circumference of a circle, oval or polygon, especially a polygon with rounded corners.
- a cover is held detachably on at least one side frame part and covers one end face of the pump. For example, a service technician can easily access the front side of the pump via the removable recess in order to carry out service work on the pump.
- the removable cover can, for example, be designed in the form of a flat material, in particular in the form of a sheet metal, preferably in the form of a perforated sheet metal.
- the cover is preferably screwed or releasably locked to the side frame part.
- an opening is arranged between the side frame part and the cover, because the user can gain access to the front side of the pump via the opening without it being absolutely necessary to remove the cover from the side frame part. This makes it easier for the user, for example, to make settings on the front of the pump to be carried out, in particular to adjust the output pressure of the water pressurized by the pump, or, for example, to fill a refill container with a descaling solution.
- the support frame has a rigid front frame part which is arranged on the front of the fuel tank.
- the front frame part is designed as a U-shaped support frame front section.
- the support frame has a rigid floor frame part that forms the chassis of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- at least two wheels and at least one steering roller can be rotatably mounted on the rigid floor frame part.
- the base frame part is preferably designed as a U-shaped support frame base section. It is advantageous here if the support frame base section has two legs aligned parallel to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device, which are connected in one piece to one another via a web aligned transversely to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device and whose free ends facing away from the web are rigidly connected to one another via a cross member.
- the traverse can be designed, for example, in the form of a sheet metal.
- the support frame has at least one rigid rear frame part which protrudes beyond the rear of the fuel tank and forms a handle of the high-pressure cleaning device. The user can use the handle to guide the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the at least one rear frame part also protrudes over the back of the heat exchanger, provided this is related to the main direction of movement of the high-pressure cleaning device is arranged behind the fuel tank.
- the support frame has two rigid rear frame parts, which are arranged at a distance from one another and protrude over the back of the fuel tank and preferably also over the back of the fuel tank and each form a handle of the high-pressure cleaning device.
- At least one rigid rear frame part is preferably designed in the shape of a bow.
- the at least one rigid rear frame part is rigidly connected to a side frame part of the support frame.
- the at least one rear frame part is welded to a side frame part.

- the support frame has a rigid hanging frame part for hanging a crane hook or a lifting strap. The crane hook or a lifting strap can therefore engage directly on the rigid suspension frame part of the support frame in order to lift the entire high-pressure cleaning device. This avoids mechanical stress on the fuel tank when lifting the high-pressure cleaning device.
- the hanging frame part conveniently overlaps the fuel tank.
- it can extend from a first rigid side frame part of the support frame, which is arranged on a first longitudinal side of the fuel tank, to a second rigid side frame part of the support frame, which is positioned on the opposite second long side of the fuel tank.

- Steel is preferably used to manufacture the supporting frame.
- the support frame has a base plate on which the heat exchanger is arranged.
- the base plate is preferably made of metal.
- the fuel tank which is designed as a seamless plastic hollow body, forms the lower housing part in which the motor and the pump are arranged. - the motor has a housing from which a plurality of holding arms protrude, each of which can be supported by a support body of the motor receiving part.
- the engine receiving part forms a through-shaft formed in the fuel tank, which extends from an upper side to an underside of the fuel tank.
- the motor may cover the through-well, with the through-well allowing air circulation to surround the motor and remove heat from the motor.
- a fill level-dependent valve for example a float valve, is preferably arranged at the inlet of the decoupling tank. Using the fill level-dependent valve, it can be ensured in a structurally simple manner that the decoupling tank does not overflow. Rather, the fill level-dependent valve closes and interrupts the connection from the water supply network to the decoupling tank when the fill level of the decoupling tank reaches a maximum level.
- a liquid cleaning agent is added to the water, which is stored in a cleaning agent tank.
- the fuel tank of the heatable high-pressure cleaning device advantageously forms a multifunctional part which, on the one hand, serves to store liquid fuel and, on the other hand, gives the high-pressure cleaning device considerable mechanical stability, and which also forms the lower housing part, which contains the motor and the pump and preferably also receives a fan driven by the motor, whereby air can be supplied to the heat exchanger by means of the fan.
- the fuel tank can preferably have one have pocket-shaped recess which forms a decoupling tank.
- the fuel tank designed as a multifunctional part can form an engine receiving part into which the engine can be inserted.
- the design of the fuel tank as a multifunctional component allows the manufacturing costs of the high-pressure cleaning device to be significantly reduced.
- the provision of recesses in particular also has the advantage that the fuel tank has a high mechanical load capacity.
- the fuel tank is conveniently manufactured by rotational molding. This manufacturing process enables a particularly robust design of the fuel tank.
- the rotomolded fuel tank can be manufactured in a single step. Impact-resistant plastics can be used here, so that a particularly mechanically resilient fuel tank can be created.
- the heatable high-pressure cleaning device in addition to a lower housing part, which is formed by the fuel tank, the heatable high-pressure cleaning device according to the invention, in an advantageous embodiment, has an upper housing part which is arranged on the lower housing part.
- the upper housing part can be designed, for example, in the form of a hood that covers the lower housing part.
- the upper housing part is advantageously designed as a one-piece, in particular closed, hollow plastic body. This gives the upper part of the housing a high level of mechanical strength.
- the upper housing part is preferably produced by rotational molding. As already explained above, a particularly mechanically resilient component can be produced cost-effectively using such a manufacturing process.
- the rigid support frame on which the fuel tank is held has a hanging frame part for hanging a crane hook or a lifting strap.
- the upper housing part has a through-channel which extends from an upper side of the upper housing part to an underside of the upper housing part, with the suspension frame part of the support frame being accessible to the user via the through-channel.
- the user has the option, for example, of passing a crane hook or a lifting strap through the passage channel of the upper housing part in order to fix the crane hook or the lifting strap on the suspension frame part of the support frame. This simplifies the handling of the high-pressure cleaning device when transporting it using a lifting device.
- the upper housing part forms at least one hook for winding up a hose and/or an electrical cable.
- a pressure hose and/or an electrical supply cable can be wound on a hook formed by the upper part of the housing.
