Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de tomographie assistée par ordinateur à ultrasons comprenant une zone d'imagerie configurée pour recevoir un support à imager ; un réseau d'éléments ultrasonores agencés autour de la zone d'imagerie, les éléments ultrasonores comprenant un émetteur, et une pluralité de récepteurs ; des circuits de récepteur respectifs pour chaque récepteur de la pluralité de récepteurs ; et une ressource de traitement configurée pour effectuer une tomographie de transmission assistée par ordinateur. L'émetteur est configuré pour transmettre à travers la zone d'imagerie une séquence de signaux d'onde continue à tonalité unique, la séquence de signaux d'onde continue à tonalité unique comprenant au moins un signal d'onde continue à tonalité unique ayant une première fréquence et au moins un signal d'onde continue à tonalité unique ayant une seconde fréquence différente. Chacun de la pluralité de récepteurs est configuré pour recevoir la séquence de signaux d'onde continue à tonalité unique qui a été transmise à travers la zone d'imagerie. Les circuits de récepteur respectifs pour chacun de la pluralité de récepteurs sont configurés pour mélanger chaque signal d'onde continue à tonalité unique reçu de la séquence de signaux d'onde continue à tonalité unique avec un signal de mélangeur à fréquence unique respectif ayant la même fréquence que ledit signal d'onde continue à tonalité unique pour obtenir une valeur en phase respective et une valeur en quadrature respective pour ledit signal d'onde continue à tonalité unique. Les circuits de traitement sont configurés pour traiter les valeurs en phase et en quadrature obtenues par une tomographie de transmission assistée par ordinateur pour obtenir une image de la zone d'imagerie.
