Abstract
La présente divulgation concerne des polymères de polyéthylène, des procédés de polymérisation pour fabriquer lesdits polymères de polyéthylène, ainsi que des films fabriqués à partir de ceux-ci. Dans divers modes de réalisation, des procédés de polymérisation comprennent des polymérisations à double catalyseur, telles que celles réalisées par combinaison d'un catalyseur métallocène de base et d'un catalyseur métallocène de garniture, le catalyseur de base pouvant éventuellement être supporté dans un premier mélange catalytique tel qu'un solvant, et le catalyseur de garniture pouvant être ajouté dans des rapports variables au catalyseur de base supporté. Des polymérisations utilisant les combinaisons des catalyseurs de base et de garniture telles que décrites ici peuvent produire des copolymères de polyéthylène linéaires à faible densité ayant un degré modéré de ramification en chaîne longue, qui peuvent présenter une aptitude améliorée au traitement pour la production de films. En outre, les films fabriqués à partir desdits polymères peuvent présenter des propriétés améliorées, telles qu'un retrait supérieur.
