Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'évaluation de consolidation de fracture en temps réel à l'aide d'une excitation ultrasonore pulsée à faible intensité (LIPUS) qui comprend un transducteur qui émet un signal de diagnostic d'évaluation de consolidation de fracture longitudinal à un angle de 0° (> (normale)) vers le transducteur ou à un angle oblique jusqu'à un premier angle critique de 20 degrés, ou reçoit une ou plusieurs signatures d'écho FHA, et un processeur. Le processeur est configuré pour calculer la somme des signatures d'écho reçues, convertir les signatures d'écho reçues en un signal d'écho analytique, normaliser le signal analytique à l'égard de signatures osseuses saines, calculer la somme de l'ensemble de signatures analytiques normalisées et créer un vecteur de données; générer une mesure d'évaluation de consolidation de fracture de diagnostic en temps réel par le traitement du vecteur de données à l'aide d'une ou de plusieurs métriques; et identifier un stade de consolidation de fracture osseuse en utilisant les métriques d'évaluation de consolidation de fracture de diagnostic en temps réel.
