Abstract
Reostato; de resistencia líquida, que comprende en un recipiente contentivo del líquido conductor, como mínimo, un par de electrodos enfrentados y deflectores que confinan entre estos electrodos un volúmen relativamente reducido de líquido, para favorecer el calentamiento, caracterizado porque estos electrodos tienen su mayor dimensión en sentido horizontal, y están sumergidos profundamente en el seno de la masa liquida, unidos en sus porciones extremas por deflectores aislantes y asociados a un cuerpo aislante, fijado paralelamente en sus bordes inferiores y a reducida distancia de éstos, en tanto que hacia la parte superior el espacio entre los electrodos es completamente libre.
