Abstract
Un confite caracterizado porque se constituye a base de una porción adecuada de goma de mascar, formada por una goma apropiada, incluyendo un material endulzante, sólida a la temperatura ambiente y con tendencia a derretirse a temperatura más elevada, la que se dispone rodeando un palito asidero, y recubierta convenientemente por una sustancia de caramelo en estado líquido, que ha sido previamente obtenida mediante una disolución de azúcar de caña, glucosa blanca y agua, a temperatura comprendida entre 300 y 310º F. con adición de los correspondientes sabor y colorantes.
